Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi

For the third chapter of the original Star Wars trilogy Lucasfilm successfully chose a number of internationally acclaimed artists to present a varied series of designs for the Worldwide advertising campaign. The poster here is the Style B U.S. one-sheet by Japanese artist Kazuhiko Sano where all of the main characters provide a ‘backbone’ from Darth Vader to Princess Leia running vertically down the central imagery with the detailed background comprising a whole host of supporting characters and scenes. Presented here in fantastic unrestored rolled (as issued) condition this beautiful example looks magnificent; deep unfaded vibrant colours that truly ‘pop’ from the paper with stylish silver detailing for the title and credits. A fine item of original Star Wars movie memorabilia from what was (until recently) the defining chapter in the Star Wars original trilogy.
