Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back Movie Poster

“The Star Wars saga continues”…

“Bobba Fett – Bounty Hunter” Factors Inc of California, USA were responsible for some of the best officially authorised commercial tie-in posters, that have gone on to become very collectable in their own right. The fan favourite Bounty Hunter Bobba Fett (Jeremy Bulloch) is featured on this promotional Star Wars: Episode V – Empire Strikes Back poster from 1980. The Mandalorian character of Bobba Fett has become the leading anti-hero of the series and has gone on to become a major symbol for the franchise and is a pivotal figure in the massive marketing and merchandising campaign. This popularity has been boosted further with the release of the Disney Plus TV show “The Mandalorian”. One of the scarcer and hard to find ‘Star Wars’ character posters. Being originally rolled (as issued) and totally unrestored  this superb example displays and presents to excellent effect with rich unfaded colour tones. This impressive piece represents a fine addition for any Star Wars fan memorabilia fans.

Trivia: In order to avoid sharing creative rights, George Lucas decided to avoid using a major studio to finance this movie. Instead, he bankrolled the $18 million production himself, using a combination of his profits from Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977) and a bank loan. Although the move was risky, it paid off several times over. Lucas recovered his investment within three months of the movie’s release.
