“I know all about you James – sex for dinner, death for breakfast.”
Something a bit different, but unmistakably BOND…Stepping straight out of a Maurice Binder opening title sequence this ‘Main Design’ Japan B1 film poster for the 2002 James Bond adventure “Die Another Day” is stunning; black on red with ‘007’ gun logo in white set large against the background. Brilliantly conceived and designed by Manabu Inada of Big Bully Creative Inc it is considered one of the rarest of posters for the title & as a group of film posters one of the best looking series of images over Pierce Brosnan’s four film run as 007. Originally rolled(as issued) this exceptional example displays and presents superbly. Featured in Tony Nourmand’s excellent “James Bond Movie Posters” encyclopedia this incredibly rare piece represents a stunning, eye-catching and very desirable piece of original James Bond movie memorabilia.
Trivia: According to the book “The Bond Legacy”, it was decided to delay production of this movie in order to have a 2002 release date, to coincide with both the 40th anniversary of the first James Bond film (Dr. No (1962)) and the 50th anniversary of the writing of the first Bond novel (Casino Royale).…more detail
