“There is no future without it !”
A rare rolled example of the British one-sheet film poster for Luc Besson’s sci-fi actioner “The Fifth Element”. Superb Poster design for this highly enjoyable stylish (Jean-Paul Gaultier was responsible for the costumes and was very influential in the overall look) romp. The artwork for the UK quad design was provided by leading creative arts agency Feref with input by acclaimed movie poster artist Brian Bysouth which has resulted in one of the best looking sci fi genre posters in recent years that has become incredibly desirable acquiring an almost cult status. Offered here is an original portrait format one-sheet film poster from its first release in 1997. With beautifully detailed artwork combined with amazing colours it certainly impresses. Presented in very good rolled (as issued) unrestored, original condition it represents a fine example of desirable and highly collectable cinematic movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Cartoonist Jean-Claude Mézières of “My Fifth Element”, also says that Luc Bessonapproached him for ideas, telling him: “I want to make a movie based on your visuals.
