For the third chapter of the original Star Wars trilogy Japan actually produced four distinctive posters to accompany the 1983 release of “Star Wars: Episode V – Return of the Jedi”. Two were drawn whilst the other two were a a superb pair of photo montages…The poster here is the Style B Photo Montage Japanese film poster featuring  all of the main characters but dominated by a huge Death Star which when you look closely you can see the image of Darth Vader in it. A rare find in this format this is the larger and much scarcer Japan B1 style. Totally original and presented here in fantastic unrestored condition this beautiful folded (as issued) example looks magnificent; deep unfaded vibrant colours and some incredible photographic style artwork that represents a fine item of original Star Wars movie memorabilia from what was until recently the “last” true Star Wars movie produced.

“You have that power too Leia. In time you’ll learn to use it as I have. The Force runs strong in my family. My father has it. I have it. And… my sister has it. Yes. It’s you, Leia.”
