One of the best must hummable theme tunes and a truly apocalyptic finale, it is no surprising that “Ghostbusters” was the biggest film of 1984. A supernatural summer blockbuster with humour, thrills, spills and some of the best special effects money could buy at the time. Ivan Reitman’s masterpiece is a much loved genuine classic. The British Uk quad film poster that accompanied its release features the principal “Ghostbusters” Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd & Harold Ramis offset against the distinctive ‘stop-ghost’ logo. A design that was only ever used on the International and European marketing campaigns. Originally rolled (as issued) this superb unrestored example displays to excellent effect with minimal age and wear and represents a fine item of collectable film movie memorabilia from one the best movies to come out of the 80’s.

Trivia: On the set, Dan Aykroyd referred to the “Slimer” ghost as the ghost of John Belushi, with Slimer’s gluttonous eating based on Belushi’s cafeteria scene in National Lampoon’s Animal House.
