Animal House

“It was the Deltas against the rules… the rules lost!”

Acclaimed director John Landis marked his debut with one of the best loved and funniest comedy films of all time, the National Lampoon presentation…“Animal House”. From the infamous Toga Party to the Homecoming Parade it is chock full of riotous, laugh out load moments and truly deserves the the accolade of an unqualified cult comedy classic. When originally released in 1978 it was to a rather luke warm reception and like many cult films (The Shawshank Redemption etc.) achieved its huge and loyal following with the advent of home video in the late 70’s. Nick Meyerowitz’ comedic artwork for this Style B US one sheet movie poster is of the highest order as the Delta House and its eclectic ensemble of characters are depicted in all their glory. Originally folded (as issued) this very rare and collectable example has been professionally conservation linen backed and presents very well and represents a fine piece of desirable original movie memorabilia for one the most loved classic comedy films.
