Incredibly rare original 1971 “Le Mans” film poster. Any paper from this sought after Steve McQueen motor racing title is scarce but this British UK quad film poster is one of the the rarest (and the best) for this iconic McQueen movie. Beautifully painted artwork by Tom Jung, emphasising the patriotic red, white and blue colours of the America flag and also matching McQueen’s racing overalls. Originally folded (as issued) this unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect and is easily the best example I have ever offered for sale. A film where any posters are genuinely scarce and very hard to find due to the very limited cinematic release at the time. “Evil Beyond Exorcism”…A great horror poster from the late 1970’s for the much under rated occult thriller “The Legacy” This original UK quad film poster Richard Marquand’s 1978 release and really is a striking example of horror poster design and artwork that certainly remains in the memory. Very rare to find in such excellent original unrestored condition; the black background is a deep unfaded black whilst the imagery and lettering is bright and truly stands out. This scarce, folded (as issued) example displays and presents superbly and represents an extremely collectable piece of 1970’s British horror cinema memorabilia.

An original 2009 Advance UK Quad movie poster for Phil Claydon’s horror comedy romp “Lesbian Vampire Killers”. James Corden and Mathew Horne (yes, the two guys from the hit TV show “Gavin and Stacey”) in their first cinematic endeavour. This movie is often compared to “Shaun of the Dead” but with lesbian vampires and has established a real cult following of fans. A eye-catching poster design by FEREF makes for a desirable piece of original movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Writers Stewart Williams and Paul Hupfield were challenged to think of the dumbest and yet most commercial title possible for a film, Lesbian Vampire Killers was the answer. They then went away and wrote the script.

“A Disgrace to Criminals Everywhere.”
Original 1998 UK Quad film poster for Guy Ritchie’s breakthrough movie…“Lock Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels”…A very limited initial UK release means these Yellow1 designed posters are in extremely scarce…Any original memorabilia from the movie has become extremely sought after as this breakthrough film has gone on to become of the most influential British films of recent years, launching the careers of its stars and director. Presented here in excellent original rolled (as issued) condition this high grade example is a beauty…“All right, son: roll them guns up, count the money, and put your seat belt on.”
Trivia: The film was having trouble finding an American distributor when Trudie Styler called an acquaintance of hers – Tom Cruise. He attended a screening and loved the film. Matthew Vaughn later recalled, “It was hysterical. You had all these mid-level executives sitting there, and Cruise walked in. He saw them all sit up and pay attention, all getting on their phones, and suddenly all these senior executives joined the screening … At the end, Tom got up in front of everyone and said ‘This is the best movie I’ve seen in years, you guys would be fools not to buy it.’…”

Bush. Tony Blair responded by saying in 2005, “I know there’s a bit of us that would like me to do a Hugh Grant in Love Actually (2003) and tell America where to get off. But the difference between a good film and real life is that in real life there’s the next day, the next year, the next lifetime to contemplate the ruinous consequences of easy applause.”
