Jonathan Demme’s “The Silence of the Lambs” is one of the best horror thriller movies ever made; excellent Award winning performances, full of dark humour and gory thrills. For this 2023 Mad Duck release, artist Paul Mann has produced a scene based alternative movie poster. The scene featured is a pivotal scene as Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster) meets with Anthony Hopkins (Hannibal Lecter) for the first time and it’s the only scene in the movie in which both actors actually appear in the same frame. Screen print finish with varnish over the glass, this hand-numbered example #180/250 is presented in excellent rolled (as issued) condition that display superbly and represents a fine item of movie poster memorabilia.
Trivia: When Sir Anthony Hopkins found out that he was cast as Dr. Hannibal Lecter, based on his performance as Dr. Frederick Treves in The Elephant Man (1980), he questioned director Jonathan Demme, and said “But Dr. Treves was a good man”, to which Demme replied “So is Lecter, he is a good man too. Just trapped in an insane mind.”

Dig out those flares (anything under 15″ are not acceptable) & platform shoes…Not just responsible for one of the greatest Christmas songs ever but in 1975 Glam Rock band Slade starred in their own imaginatively titled big screen movie…SLADE IN FLAME ! Described as ‘the Citizen Kane of British pop movies’ by critic Mark Kermode, Slade in Flame both confounded and delighted audiences when it was released in 1975, at the height of the legendary glam-rock band’s success, starring the band themselves, this was a music film like no other. Charting the rise and fall of a pop group at the end of the 1960s, this darkly cynical, warts-and-all portrait of a band in freefall amidst the music-industry suits who want a piece of the pie was not what anybody was expecting. And now for the 50th Anniversary, Slade in Flame has been newly remastered by the BFI from the best available 35mm materials and re-released for a very limited cinematic outing. This original 2025 UK quad film poster to accompany the release is presented in excellent original rolled (as issued) condition that displays beautifully; the black background enhances the image of the group, who appear (due to some clever lighting) translucent, giving an almost 3D effect. The extremely limited release means these posters are very scarce and represent a fantastic piece of highly collectable and desirable original movie and music memorabilia.

“Who wants to be a millionaire?”
…An original 2008 UK Quad movie poster for Danny Boyle’s multi oscar winning modern fairytale “Slumdog Millionaire”…A great looking poster from one of the best film’s in recent years.
“To Cut a Long Story Short”…It’s not many films that get a a London premiere at the Royal Albert Hall, but then it’s not every film that tells the story of meteoric rise, fall and ultimate reunion of new romantic pop sensations, Spandau Ballet. The advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited cinema release is truly scarce. It really is a great snap shot of the 80’s image of the band from their first visit to New York. Originally rolled this incredibly rare example displays as new. Never commercially available the posters for this release are unbelievably scarce…fantastic item of Spandau Ballet / New Romantics / film / cultural memorabilia presented in investment grade condition !

“Get Ready For Rush Hour”
Designed by Dan Chapman this is an original 1994 UK Quad film poster for Jan De Bont’s exceedingly fast paced bomb on a bus actioner “Speed”. A true box-office blockbuster this movie quickly became an action classic spawning a sequal and acting as a template for many films since. In the same way “Die Hard” launched Bruce Willis as a credible action hero the same can be said of “Speed” and Keanu Reeves. This impressive, all-action film poster displays to excellent effect being originally rolled (as issued) with bright, unfaded colours and eye-catching imagery that represents a great piece of original cinematic movie memorabilia from the movie that launched the career of John Wick & Neo.
Trivia: The film was released one week before O.J. Simpson led Los Angeles police on a chase in a white Bronco after he was suspected of murder. After the Bronco chase, many audiences who saw the film in theaters noticed how closely scenes from the film resembled the real-life Bronco chase, including media coverage and aerial shots of Los Angeles freeways.

The sequel to the Spider-Man movie is everything a fan of the first could ask for. Imagine the surprise to see such care, effort and appreciation put into every character within the movie, with excellent acting, direction, sound, computer animation… all of it seamlessly integrated into a film that is very aware of the history, the fandom, and the expectations associated with the Spider-Man franchise. “Spider-Man 2” is the perfect film for the comic book genre, and the perfect sequel for Spider-Man fans. A special promotional poster was issued to promote “Spider-Man 2” (2004), the second film in Sam Raimi’s trilogy. The image shows Spider-Man web-spinning his way over a sun drenched New York and has been designed in plastic with a relief effect, almost 3D so that the title and Spider-Man figure are raised from the background. Manufactured in Italy, this was exclusively only ever available in the US and printed in extremely low numbers due to production costs. One of the most popular characters ever created with a huge and loyal fan-base, the original film poster offered here represents a a very collectable item of movie memorabilia.
Trivia: When Peter dumps his Spider-Man suit in a garbage can, it’s a recreation to a panel from the iconic comic book storyline “Spider-Man No More”, Issue #50 from The Amazing Spider-Man. As in the film, the outfit is found and brought to J Jonah Jameson, then reclaimed by Spider-Man who leaves a note like the one in the movie.

A fine piece of sci-fi movie memorabilia and one of the best looking and most collectable film posters for the much loved franchise.
Trivia: The famous “Space, the final frontier” monologue is heard for the first time since Star Trek (1966), now narrated by Leonard Nimoy, however this has been changed slightly. Printed on Mirri Rainbow Foil art paper, Matt Ferguson’s artwork for this Vice Press 2023 release for “Star Trek: The Motion Picture” is truly impressive. Literally changing colour depending on the light and viewing angle with imagery depicting key scenes from the movie and of course, center-stage the iconic USS Enterprise. The Japanese typeface adds an air of the exotic and adds to the overall appeal in what is a fitting visual tribute for the first big screen cinematic outing for Captain Kirk & the crew of the starship Enterprise. Released as a limited edition of 175 this has been hand-numbered #28 that displays superbly and represents a fine piece of artwork and a very collectable alternative poster movie from Gene Roddenberry’s much loved TV and Movie series.
Trivia: William Shatner, (Captain Kirk) who saw the completed movie for the first time at the world premiere, was struck by the overall sluggishness of the movie, and was convinced that the Star Trek franchise died there and then. He reminisced, “Well, that’s it. We gave it our best shot, it wasn’t good, and it will never happen again.” But, having recalled his reaction fifteen years later, he has added, “Shows you what I know.”

Produced in 1991 for the 25th Anniversary of the TV series “Star Trek”, acclaimed artist Drew Struzan has produced one of the best images of William Shatner as the iconic character – Captain James T. Kirk. This example has been autographed by the actor William Shatner and annotated with his character name ‘James T. Kirk’. The autograph was obtained in 2023 (August 12th) at the Steel City Con, Monroeville, Pennsylvania and is accompanied by an official Certificate of Authenticity from the event. The poster alone is impressive and when coupled with the signature it represents an incredible and a very collectable item of Star Trek memorabilia movie from Gene Roddenberry’s iconic and hugely influential production.
Trivia: ‘Star Trek’ is universally acknowledged as the most successful franchise in television history, and one of the most successful in all of Hollywood history. Artist Josh Kirby painted a colourful all action sweeping montage exclusively for the 1983 British release of “Return of the Jedi”. These early version UK quad film posters were nearly all produced slightly trimmed (27″ x 40″) almost entirely for advertising use in the London Underground. Kirby’s design was quickly replaced by Kasu Sano’s updated imagery which featured the Ewoks. Presented here in fantastic unrestored condition this beautiful folded (as issued) example looks magnificent; deep unfaded vibrant colours. A rare example of original Star Wars movie memorabilia from what was until “Episode VII – The Force Awakens” released in 2015 was the last true Star Wars movie produced and represents a fantastic example of original Star Wars cinematic movie memorabilia from the defining chapter of the Original Trilogy.
Trivia: After appearing in this movie, Wedge Antilles (Denis Lawson) becomes the only X-wing pilot character (apart from Luke) who survived all three original movies.
