“They gave him hate, He gave them hell…”

Italian exploitation cinema at its finest, Fabrizio De Angelis‘ 1983 revenge driven “Rambo” clone…“THUNDER”…it also helps if you get one the best action film poster artists to draw your poster…Brian Bysouth’s artwork on this original 1983 UK quad is nothing short of spectacular & does exactly what a film advertising  poster was meant to do…gets you to go and watch the movie. Featuring the heroic titular “Thunder”, bazookas, helicopters, a runaway digger, a crane, exploding police cars, guns (& more guns)…all offset against a dark, stormy lightning strike sky.  A beautifully finished and detailed movie poster  and is a perfect example of the B movie sub culture, whereby the poster sold the feature and in most cases was far superior to the on-screen content.. From first year of British release this 1983 UK quad film poster is a truly fantastic looking film poster, perfectly suited by the British quad design and a very desirable item. Coming from the personal archive of the artist Brian Bysouth this superb example is presented in excellent unrestored original condition and is easily the best example of this cult poster I have ever offered for sale with the minimal of handling wear. Originally rolled (as issued) this standout piece has deep, vibrant colours and stunning all-action imagery. An extremely collectable and rare film poster that typifies ‘B Movie’ film making in the 80’s .
