A striking country of origin British UK quad for Danny Boyle’s 2002 post apocalyptic, zombie movie – “28 Days Later”. Designed by the Creative Partnership advertising agency the horror imagery is perfect for the subject matter as piercing bloodshot zombie eyes dominate the imagery atop a silhouetted London skyline all offset in a blood red colour palette. The poster offered here presents and displays to excellent effect being originally rolled (as issued). An impressive and sought after film poster that represents a fantastic piece of modern horror cinematic memorabilia.
Trivia: For the scenes on the motorway, the production got permission to shoot on the M1 on a Sunday morning between 7.00am and 9.00am. The police gradually slowed traffic in both directions. Using 10 cameras, the filmmakers managed to capture a total of one minute of usable footage.

“Out of the darkness…comes the Knight.”
There were some outstanding posters produced for Christopher Nolan’s 2008 “Batman Begins” sequel “The Dark Knight” but this advance “Coming Soon” teaser takes the plaudits…a truly stunning looking film poster designed by Crew Creative Advertising. This International one sheet was printed in USA for use in United Kingdom and Europe and depicts the Batman silhouetted against a striking city scape and is the rarest of any paper for the movie. The photograph really doesn’t do this poster justice. Originally rolled (as issued) this beautiful unrestored example displays and presents to magnificent effect and represents a hugely collectable item of modern original movie memorabilia from a truly outstanding film franchise and an icon of modern pop culture…“The night is darkest before the dawn.”
Trivia: In Sir Michael Caine‘s opinion, Heath Ledger beat the odds and topped Jack Nicholson‘s Joker from Batman (1989): “Jack was like a clown figure, benign but wicked, maybe a killer old uncle. He could be funny and make you laugh. Heath’s gone in a completely different direction to Jack, he’s like a really scary psychopath. He’s a lovely guy and his Joker is going to be a hell of a revelation in this picture.” Caine bases this belief on a scene where The Joker pays a visit to Bruce Wayne’s penthouse. He’d never met Ledger before, so when Ledger arrived and performed, he gave Caine such a fright, he forgot his lines.

Designed by Hive Associates this is a special 3D lenticular poster for Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster superhero movie “Batman: The Dark Knight” and (for the one & only time) Heath Ledger’s show stopping turn as ‘The Joker’. This promotional poster was issued as a gift to VIP attendees and at early press screenings for Nolan’s incredibly successful sequel to Batman Begins. Depending on the viewing angle, you can see either Batman (Christian Bale), Joker (Heath Ledger) or Two-Face (Aaron Eckhart). Presented in dark blue, grey and black tones this is a great looking piece with the gritty dark colours perfectly suiting the subject matter. An eye-catching and impressive original US/International one-sheet movie poster for Martin Scorsese’s 1995 Las Vegas set gangster epic “Casino”. Trivia: “Casino” was filmed entirely in the Las Vegas valley. The casino and office scenes were filmed in the famed Riviera Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas strip, and the driving scene in the beginning of the movie was filmed on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, which is no longer open to automobile traffic.

“Charlie”, Malcolm Needs’ Brit-Gangster film loosely based on the life and times of notorious London gangster Charlie Richardson and his gang. The original UK quad film poster to accompany the 2004 release features a striking close up of ‘Charlie’ played by Luke Goss. Like many small studio independent releases the advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited cinema showings is truly scarce. In 1998 a British film was released that launched the modern ‘Brit Gangster’ genre….that film was “Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels” and the relaunched genre is still going strong and showing no sign of flagging. “Dead Man Running” stars two actors who have very much cornered the market in Cockney ‘loveable’ rogues…Danny Dyer & Tamer Hassan. Designed by the advertising agency Creative Partnership the 2009 UK quad that accompanies the cinema release of “Dead Man Running” is typical of the genre. The originally rolled (as issued) film poster offered here displays beautifully and is presented in excellent condition with just very minor handling wear and represents an extremely desirable piece of original British movie memorabilia.
