  “This Holiday Season, The Best Gifts Come with a Bow.”

  Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye” features the Avenger Hawkeye and ‘New Avenger’ Kate Bishop in a Disney+ series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Jeremy Renner returns as the title character, joined by Hailee Steinfeld who plays the apprentice archer Kate Bishop (both are featured on the poster) and a strong supporting cast with perhaps Florence Pugh – the new Black Widow? returning as Yelena Belova as does one of Marvels’s most iconic villains with Vincent D’Onofrio donning his trademark white suit as Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin. The clever design by BLT Communications was the first poster released promote the TV series. Presented here in original unrestored condition this beautiful 2021 rolled (as issued) example displays to excellent effect with the minimal of handling wear. Only ever released as a one-sheet poster in the United States and printed exclusively for the US market to promote the first Season of “Hawkeye” this is a truly scarce poster and highly sought after that represents a fine addition for any collector of original Marvel Studio posters or comic book fan memorabilia.

  Trivia: The TV show was originally tentatively planned as a movie, which was even included in Jeremy Renner‘s contract. However, Kevin Feige felt that it would be a better fit as a Disney+ show, and Renner agreed to the change.

  For it’s second season Disney Plus issued a magnificent advance “New Season streaming Oct. 30” one-sheet poster for the hit Star Wars universe show “The Mandalorian”. The colours are truly breathtaking with ‘Mando’ and his ward ‘Grogu’ (Baby Yoda) illustrated in almost photographic detail. Presented here in original unrestored condition this beautiful 2020 rolled (as issued) example displays to excellent effect with the minimal of handling wear. Only ever released as a one-sheet poster in the United States and printed only for the US market to promote Season 2 of “The Mandalorian” this is a truly scarce poster and highly sought after. Some toys, such as Funko Pop! figures and a plush from Mattel, weren’t available until early 2020. Jon Favreau has said the intention was to not spoil the series ahead of the premiere. “The way the cat usually gets out of the bag with that stuff is merchandising and toy catalogs and things like that,” he told Entertainment Tonight.

  “The Way” by Rory Kurtz for Mondo was released to celebrate Season One of the hit TV series, and it is such a cool poster. Hand-Annotated ‘Archive 2’ as it has come directly from the personal archive of the artist Rory Kurtz and printed using eleven colour inks on Domtar Lynx Opaque 100# cover paper. Kurtz has this to say about the design “The Mandalorian is mysterious and iconic in aesthetic, and I felt the art should mirror that, with Mando holstering his blaster stoically amidst the smoke, ash, and fallen enemies of the recently finished battle”. This is a truly scarce alternative movie poster and highly sought after. With Mando and Grogu already firmly established as a fans favourite this impressive item represents a fine addition for any poster or art collector or Star Wars fan memorabilia.

  Stargate

  “Sealed and buried for all time is the key to mankind’s future.”

  A beautiful alternative movie poster by Paul Mann for Roland Emmerich’s sci-fi actioner with an Egyptian mythology twist “Stargate”. Superb artwork for this highly enjoyable romp, resulting in one of the best looking alternative movie posters for the title. Printed in 2023 by Mad Duck this ‘Black’ edition is hand-numbered #25 from a run of 250. Mann’s beautifully detailed artwork and outstanding characterisations, combines with a beautiful colour palette to create an art print that certainly impresses. Presented in excellent (as issued) condition it represents a fine example of desirable and highly collectable cinematic movie memorabilia.

  Trivia: The stargate is a system designed to open a wormhole. A wormhole is a hypothetical way of space travel called an “Einstein-Rosen bridge”, named after scientists Nathan Rosen and Albert Einstein. According to them, the wormhole should be capable to unite two distant points in the universe, altering space-time laws to cross from a point to another in a brief period of time. The name “wormhole” compares the universe to an apple, with a worm boring through it to reach a point on the other side instead of crawling the long way around on the outside.

  The Mandalorian

  Although a relatively recent release any paper for Disney’s smash hit Star Wars series “The Mandalorian” is extremely sought after. This fan favourite award winning show has been the subject of a series of alternative movie posters, some good and some not so good, but in  2023 artist Paul Mann was commissioned  to create his version and it really is one of the best. This ‘Only One Way’ fine art print orange variant, hand-numbered #14/75 is truly eye-catching and super stylish as Mann focuses on the lead and supporting characters. The deep, rich orange and gold colour palette is particularly eye-catching. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect that represents a hugely collectable item of movie memorabilia that looks very very cool ! With Mando and Grogu already firmly established as a fans favourite this impressive item represents a fine addition for any collector of movie posters or Star Wars fan memorabilia.
