“Home Alone” was a massive blockbuster hit when released in 1990 launching the career of child star – Macaulay Culkin and it has gone on to attain cult status, as one of the greatest and best-loved Christmas movies and is one of the highest grossing box office comedy’s of all time. Known as the ‘door’ style this original UK quad is the rarer of the two issued and features Culkin’s character Kevin MacCallister and his adversaries the ‘Wet Bandits’ – Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern. Rolled (as issued) this example presents very well and represents a rare piece of collectable cinematic movie memorabilia.
Trivia: In May 2011, the house in Winnetka, Illinois used in this movie was listed for sale at $2.4 million. It sold in March 2012 for $1.585 million. The house is promoted as a tourist attraction, and cited as an example of “How to Get Your Home in the Movies”.

This original UK quad is from the 1991 re-release and features Culkin’s character Kevin MacCallister in ‘Holy Cow’ posse and his adversaries the ‘Wet Bandits’ – Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern. Rolled (as issued) this example presents to excellent effect with deep blue unfaded background and crisp colours on the character images. It represents a fine example of rare, collectable cinematic movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Joe Pesci was used to adding profanity to most of his scripts, and kept forgetting that he was filming a family movie during his character’s on-screen outbursts, so director Chris Columbus advised him to say “fridge” instead of the “f” word. A lot of Pesci’s unintelligible pained mutterings were his way to avoid cursing.

Arguably the most sought after design for “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”. This Style B, US one-sheet one-sheet displays the unmistakable painted artwork of Drew Struzan which features a montage of just about all the best elements from this film; from the heart wrenching evil villain Mola Ram, the comic relief character Short Round and the episode’s love interest – Willie Scott. And of course taking centre stage is Harrison Ford as the titular Indiana Jones – all beautifully illustrated by Struzan. It’s hardly a wonder why this poster is so desirable; it represents the best parts of this all-action series. Originally rolled, as issued to the cinema this superb example displays to excellent effect being presented in totally unrestored high grade condition with only light handling wear. Often seen as the ‘weakest’ of the franchise (not so in my book) this is considerably rarer than posters from the other films and is genuinely very scarce and represents a fantastic piece of scarce country of origin original movie memorabilia for an incredibly popular and well loved series of films.
Trivia: While filming the whipping scene, the crew played a practical joke on Harrison Ford. While he was chained to a large stone, Barbra Streisand appeared, dressed in a leather dominatrix outfit. She proceeded to whip him, saying “That’s for Hanover Street (1979), the worst movie I ever saw.” She continued whipping him for Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977), and making all of that money. Carrie Fisher then threw herself in front of Ford to protect him, and Irvin Kershner chided director Steven Spielberg. “Is this how you run your movies ?” This entire sequence was filmed.

After the ‘Star Wars’ style excesses of the previous movie “Moonraker” this is more of a return to a realistic spy thriller in John Glen’s “For Your Eyes Only”. This original, country of origin British one sheet is from first year of release 1981 featuring iconic artwork that incorporates the “legs” aspect of Bill Gold’s design and Brian Bysouth’s marvellous detailed, all-action artwork which incorporates the Lotus Esprit protruding out of the border. This originally folded (as issued) example displays very well with lovely strong colours. Probably the most recognisable of all the Roger Moore, Bond posters and this example represents an impressive piece of original collectable James Bond cinematic movie memorabilia.
Trivia; after much debate the infamous “legs” belong to New York model Joyce Bartle.

Probably the most important film of ‘modern’ cinema, launching a movie trend that is now commonly referred to as the ‘Summer Blockbuster’. It also happens to be one of the best and most memorable movie poster images ever ! Designed by The Seiniger Advertising Agency with finished artwork by Roger Kastel the poster has attained cult status. Once you’ve seen the film (& who hasn’t) you see the poster and you just can’t get John Williams’ distinctive soundtrack out of your head. This original British double crown poster for Steven Spielberg’s 1975 masterpiece “Jaws” is one of the best styles – no credits to distract the eye, just a title and pure artwork; totally unrestored this originally folded (as issued) example displays very well with only very minimal handling wear. Perfect, deep rich colours this is truly impressive and an extremely rare poster in this format that presents and displays to excellent effect and represents a key item of highly sought after, collectable original movie memorabilia…“You’re gonna need a bigger boat !”
Trivia: Several decades after the film’s release, Lee Fierro, who played Mrs. Kintner, walked into a seafood restaurant and noticed that the menu had an “Alex Kintner Sandwich.” She commented that she had played his mother so many years ago; the owner of the restaurant ran out to meet her, and he was none other than Jeffrey Voorhees, who had played her son. They had not seen each other since the original movie shoot.

Ground breaking and game changing are phrases banded around far to easily in this day of modern cinema but “Jurassic Park” truly deserves these accolades. A massive worldwide success on its release with merchandising and memorabilia hugely sought after with the logo style design being the most desirable. From first year of release 1993 this rolled (as issued) Advance ‘Summer 1993’ original, unrestored UK quad film poster displays and presents to excellent effect. The bright red logo and title which is printed , slightly embossed, using a spot varnish finish, truly pops against the matt black background. From an aesthetic point of view I have always preferred the landscape format of the quad, as feel it suits the design (and is much more impressive) than the portrait style of a one-sheet. A fine piece of original movie memorabilia that is hard to find in such high grade condition from the film that kickstarted the CGI phenomenon and made millions fall in love with a T-Rex.

A fine piece of original movie memorabilia from the film that kickstarted the CGI phenomenon and made millions fall in love with a T-Rex.
Trivia: In 2005, paleontologist Dr. Mary Schweitzer discovered red blood cells and soft tissue in the fossilized bones of a T. Rex, meaning dinosaur cloning may someday become a reality.

Swainson takes one of the most memorable scenes from the film as the T-Rex bursts from the trees to chase the jeep. From 2024 this rolled (as issued) alternative movie poster displays and presents to excellent effect and in addition to such incredible imagery this poster has been hand-signed and remarqued with a velociraptor by the artist to the bottom right corner area. A fine piece of movie memorabilia from the film that kickstarted the CGI phenomenon and made millions fall in love with a T-Rex.

Directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Ken Loach, “KES” is based on the 1968 novel “A Kestrel for a Knave”, written by Barry Hines. It is part of the kitchen sink realism movement that developed in Britain in the late 50s and early 60s. This movement focussed on those that were disillusioned with modern society, and on the domestic lives of working-class Britain. When re-released by the BFI in 1999 for the 30th Anniversary, graphic design agency The Farm was commissioned to create a new poster, and it’s fair to say it what he has produced surpasses the original. Exclusive to this British release it’s a stunning imagery sums up the feeling of isolation. The borrowed shorts typify the “done unto” theme for the young lad while attempting to add a touch of welcome understated humour to the poster – made more poignant by the fact that for David Bradley’s role in life humour was usually at his own expense or not at all. An incredibly scarce example of modern poster design, perfectly suited to the landscape format of the UK quad. Originally rolled (as issued) this superb example presents extremely well and represents a beautiful example of cinematic movie memorabilia from a film that remains a powerful study of school, family, strife and dreams ever made.

When re-released in the 1970s the front of house lobby cards – full colour in the 1969 release were re-issued with a light blue sepia tone, which in my opinion is much better looking , giving a particularly striking effect that also makes David Dai Bradley’s signature (signed in black sharpie pen) really stand out. Bradley has signed with a very nice signature and has also added his character name – Billy. An outstanding card from the set as it features Billy (Dai Bradley) with his kestrel, KES. Originally flat and unfolded (as issued) this superb example presents extremely well and represents a beautiful example of cinematic movie memorabilia from a film that remains a powerful study of school, family, strife and dreams ever made.

“It’s Craaazy! … big top … big shoes … big teeth!!”
If you were looking for a film to define cult classic, and you don’t suffer from coulrophobia, look no further than the Chiodo Brothers’ 1988 sci-fi, comedy, horror “Killer Klowns From Outer Space”. From the incredible Tom Simpson artwork on the British Quad to the premise that a gang of aliens looking like grotesque, colourful circus clowns have come to Earth to terrorise and murder us by cocooning their victims in candy floss, it has everything a cult film fan could want. Regarded as one of the scarcest posters from the period and of the genre, this is a full size 30″ x 40″ (76 x 102 cm) from the very limited cinema release and not one of the smaller posters produced with the same artwork when it released on video in Great Britain. An incredibly hard film poster with very few printed with only an extremely small number to have survived. The U.S. one sheet with bland artwork is pretty scarce and finding this original English poster featuring Tom Simpson artwork is almost impossible.. especially in this excellent unrestored rolled (as issued) condition. It represents one of the funnest and coolest items of original cinematic movie memorabilia we have ever offered for sale…“In Space No One Can Eat Ice Cream!”
Trivia: The popcorn gun include a compressor inside that would fire real popcorn. It was the most expensive prop in the movie, costing $7,000 and taking six weeks to build.

Although a relatively recent release any paper for Damien Chazelle’s 2016 multi award winning musical romance phenomenon “La La Land” is scarce. Taking audiences by storm at the box-office it was never expected (by the Studio) to be the huge worldwide success it turned out to be with a merchandising and marketing budget not reflected in the success. Hence the rarity of the film posters. Chazelle’s Oscar winning film was complemented with an award winning movie poster created by the creative arts agency LA. Stylish and simple the movie poster offered here is the British UK quad film poster affectionately known as the “dancing style” with both stars, Sebastian (Ryan Gosling) & Mia (Emma Stone) prominently featured and complemented by the five star glowing reviews. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect and particularly suited to the landscape format of the UK quad. Absolutely stunning; the deep blue/purple colour range is superb and unfaded with the bright yellow of Stone’s dress shining out like a beacon. Guaranteed original this represents an extremely scarce and desirable item of modern original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly remarkable film.
Trivia: The plot has strong ties to Emma Stone‘s real-life history. The movie is based in LA, and Mia is discovered as a college dropout actress pursuing her dreams. Stone is a school dropout herself, moving to LA at the age of 15 in pursuit of an acting career.
