“Batman and Robin of the 1960s live action series are back in action to take down their fiendish foes united once more against them.”
Long before Tim Burton re-invented him, Chris Chris Nolan re-imagined him and Ben Affleck played him as an older more mature Caped Crusader there was “BATMAN” 1960’s style, as the decade’s most popular TV show was bat-transported, once again to the big screen in 2016 with this hugely enjoyable animated adventure – “Batman: The Return of the Caped Crusaders” as Adam West (Batman), Burt Ward (Robin) and Julie Newmar (Catwoman) reprise their roles and add their voices to this glorious retro romp. Receiving a ‘one-night only release’ in cinemas on October 17 the poster that accompanied the screening is a marvellous, colourful feast for the eyes with Batman & Robin (rightly so) taking centre stage. Bright vibrant colours and beautiful graphics, this originally rolled (as issued) example is a great looking poster, that because of the very limited release is incredibly scarce. I am a huge Batman fan (all incarnations) and this is one just exudes fun…A rare chance to purchase one of the scarcest Batman posters ever produced and a magnificent item of collectable memorabilia from an icon of modern pop culture.
Trivia: The artwork The Joker steals is of a clown that is an obvious nod to the mask that Cesar Romero in the Batman 1960s series and Heath Ledger wear at the beginning of The Dark Knight (2008).

“He was football’s first rock and roll star – a handsome, charismatic Belfast boy who could thrill and excite the crowds with every turn of the ball. But George Best was also the lead in his own Shakespearean tragedy, a flawed genius, brought down by drink, temptation and depression”
Due to a very limited cinematic release of this ‘art-house’ independent movie this poster is a truly scarce item of sports memorabilia, an original 2016 UK Quad movie poster for Daniel Gordon’s sports biopic “BEST: George Best All By Himself”. A impressive looking poster, especially if you are a George Best fan. Halfway between a sports documentary and a social statement on the pitfalls of fame and celebrity culture. Originally rolled (as issued) this superb example displays and presents to excellent effect featuring a poignant close up colour photograph of the titular Best in the famous red jersey of Manchester United, the team he made his name with. A fine piece of original memorabilia that will appeal to the sports or movie poster collector for one of the most lauded, famous and recognised sportsmen on the planet….“In 1969 I gave up women and alcohol – it was the worst 20 minutes of my life.”

Trivia: Darth Vader’s appearance in this film is meticulously patterned after his look in the original Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977). While Vader’s chest plate is uncovered in Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983), his costume initially had his Sith robes draped over his shield, as well as red lenses in the eye holes of the mask. Considering this film takes place mere days before the original film, the costume designers recreated Vader’s look down to the last detail.
