A impressive looking poster, especially if you are a George Best fan. Halfway between a sports documentary and a social statement on the pitfalls of fame and celebrity culture. Originally rolled (as issued) this superb example displays and presents to excellent effect featuring a poignant close up colour photograph of the titular Best in the famous red jersey of Manchester United, the team he made his name with. Adapted from Philip K. Dick’s novel ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?’, Ridley Scott’s “Blade Runner” iconic dystopian classic is unquestionably one of the greatest sci-fi films ever made. Re-issued several times in various formats & ‘cuts’ this is a rare original first release 1982 UK Quad country of origin movie poster for Scott’s hugely influential science fiction blockbuster. Although critically acclaimed on initial release, commercially the film never really proved popular with the cinema going public resulting in any paper from the first 1982 release extremely scarce, making this Jouineau Bourduge film poster a very nice find indeed. Totally original & unrestored the 1982 UK quad film poster offered here is in excellent, original folded (as issued) condition. It displays and presents superbly with just very minor handling wear and represents a fine piece of cinematic memorabilia for one of the most influential film’s not just of the sci-fi genre but modern culture in general.
Trivia: This movie suffered at the box office because it opened at the same time as E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982). The Thing (1982) suffered a similar fate due to the same reason. Although there was praise for the visual style, word of mouth about this movie’s slow pace and bleak themes quickly caused a decrease in attendance ratings. Both movies later reached cult status and received critical praise.

A great looking movie poster for the Park Circus (BFI) 30th Anniversary 2006 release of Alan Parker’s 1976 film “Bugsy Malone”. The classic all-singing and dancing gangster movie with an all child cast that is the first and only gangster movie to involve cream filled bullets fired by the legendary “splurge” gun…The artwork from the original 1976 UK quad has been cleverly re-imagined highlighting the two stars; Jodie Foster & Scott Baio whilst retaining a 1930’s theme. Originally rolled (as issued) this excellent unrestored example displays and presents to superb effect and represents a scarce item of collectible memorabilia from one of British cinema’s quirkiest films.
Trivia: The development of the splurge guns took three months work by special effects boffins at Pinewood Studios. A gunsmith was consulted by fxpert Malcolm King to resolve the very complex ballistic problem of being able to shoot a capsulated custard pie without it first splurging the firer-splurger.

One of the most striking film posters of the 1970’s. The eye catching design and artwork for Donald Cammell’s 1977 sci-fi shocker “Demon Seed” is certainly memorable as Julie Christie is attacked by the robot nemesis Proteus IV (voiced by the late Robert Vaughn). Known as the ‘door’ style this original UK quad is the rarer of the two issued and features Culkin’s character Kevin MacCallister and his adversaries the ‘Wet Bandits’ – Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern. Rolled (as issued) this example presents very well and represents a rare piece of collectable cinematic movie memorabilia.
Trivia: In May 2011, the house in Winnetka, Illinois used in this movie was listed for sale at $2.4 million. It sold in March 2012 for $1.585 million. The house is promoted as a tourist attraction, and cited as an example of “How to Get Your Home in the Movies”.

This original UK quad is from the 1991 re-release and features Culkin’s character Kevin MacCallister in ‘Holy Cow’ posse and his adversaries the ‘Wet Bandits’ – Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern. Rolled (as issued) this example presents to excellent effect with deep blue unfaded background and crisp colours on the character images. It represents a fine example of rare, collectable cinematic movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Joe Pesci was used to adding profanity to most of his scripts, and kept forgetting that he was filming a family movie during his character’s on-screen outbursts, so director Chris Columbus advised him to say “fridge” instead of the “f” word. A lot of Pesci’s unintelligible pained mutterings were his way to avoid cursing.

Scarce, original UK quad movie poster for Kenneth Johnson’s 1977 Marvel super hero actioner “The Incredible Hulk”. One of the biggest and most successful TV shows of the 1970s started life in the UK as a two hour cinematic release, as audiences saw mild-mannered scientist – Bruce Banner (Bill Bixby) transform into the Incredible Hulk (Lou Ferrigno). Both feature on the British quad offered here complemented by bright green (naturally) title imagery taken directly from the comic book. Having a limited release, this is a rare poster. Presented in excellent folded (as issued) unrestored high grade condition. Highly collectable, it represents a fabulous opportunity to own very early Marvel movie memorabilia that will appeal to both the comic book fan and a poster collector.
Trivia: Dr. Banner was named Bruce in the comics, but is renamed David for this telefilm. The tombstone at the end of the episode reveals his full name to be David Bruce Banner. This is actually partially consistent with the comics, in which his full name is Robert Bruce Banner.
