What Ever Happened To Baby Jane ?

“Sister, sister, oh so fair, why is there blood all over your hair ?”

Incredibly scarce poster for Robert Aldrich’s hugely successful psychological horror “What Ever Happened To Baby Jane”. Strikingly designed by creative arts agency Randak with a clever use of bold colour ‘split’ panels featuring sectional close up shots of the stars Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, two giants from the ‘golden-age’ of Hollywood. As the film had a very limited cinematic release (only showing in select Park Circus cinemas) any paper for the title is particularly scarce which makes this original 2012 Park Circus 50th Anniversary release film poster a very exciting find.  Rolled (as issued) this original unrestored UK quad film poster displays and presents to excellent effect and represents a hugely collectable and desirable example of original modern film memorabilia.

Trivia: According to Bette Davis in her book “This N’ That,” the film was originally going to be shot in color. Davis opposed this, saying that it would just make a sad story look pretty.
