The Devils

“Hell holds no surprises for them !”

Exceptional example for Ken Russell’s hugely controversial 1971 film “The Devils”. Incredibly rare Style B. ‘full size’ art for this original country of origin first year of release UK quad film poster that features some striking understated, minimalistic Tom Chantrell artwork. Due to the graphic content and controversy surrounding the film’s release any paper from the film has always been somewhat scarce with British UK quad posters particularly hard to find with this particular example being printed for use by the ABC Cinema chain. Folded (as issued) this original unrestored UK quad film poster is a very rare find in this investment grade condition and represents a very collectable and desirable example of original film memorabilia…Recognised as one of the best posters of its type this scarce Style B. design originally came from the first showing in 1971 at the ABC cinema in Scunthorpe and is advertising the performance dates & times.
