American Gigolo

“His business is pleasure !”

In 1980 Paramount Pictures released Paul Schrader’s “American Gigolo” and launched a new global star in Richard Gere who went on to become one of the most bankable male actor at the box office in the 80’s. The moody imagery of the Armani clad Gere in the worldwide marketing campaign has gone to become an 80’s classic. As Gere was a relative unknown prior to “American Gigolo” any paper from the release is scarce, making this original 1980 UK quad a great find. Originally folded (as issued) this beautiful unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect with the bright white background off-setting the blue toned shaded graphics. A highly desirable piece of original movie memorabilia for one of the most stylish films of the 1980’s.
