    A magnificent US/International one sheet movie poster for Joe & Anthony Russo’s 2014 super hero blockbuster “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”. An impressive design by BLT & Associates with our heroes – Captain America, Black Widow and Nick Fury prominent against an all-action backdrop featuring the huge SHIELD Helicarrier, the villain Alexander Pierce (Robert Redford) and the first glimpse of Sebastian Stan as the deadly assassin ‘The Winter Soldier’. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks stunning and displays to excellent and impressive effect. If key first appearances in movies (and movie posters) follows the same trend as the comic books then with Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier and Anthony Mackie’s Falcon appearing in this instalment it is a must have item that represents a fine piece of collectable modern cinema movie memorabilia.

    Trivia: Producer Kevin Feige described this movie as “a 1970s political thriller masquerading as a big superhero movie.”

With a retro feel and look, Captain Marvel AKA Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) looks truly heroic and takes centre stage in full costume as she strikes across the sky accompanied by a squadron of F-15 jet fighters. The character depicted is the cosmically powered super-heroine Carol Danvers sporting her red, white, and blue Earth uniform. This is a hand numbered regular edition of 1725 with this being #1008. Originally flat & unfolded (as issued) this superb example displays to impressive effect (honestly the photo does not do this justice…needs to be seen), perfectly suited to this portrait format. Captain Marvel AKA Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) looks truly cosmic and takes centre stage in a full on ‘power’ pose.     There is no doubting the influence and impact of Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 masterpiece “Pulp Fiction” and like so many of the Tarantino films the paper from each has become hugely collectable. This Australian daybill offered here is no exception. This popular and most recognisable design by Indika Entertainment Advertising  is truly striking and features beautiful Uma Thurman imagery that is only enhanced by the print quality and colour saturation found here. Very cool looking, this is a fantastic original poster from Quentin Tarantino’s most celebrated film to date. Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect and represents a hugely collectible piece of movie memorabilia from a truly iconic movie…“I do believe Marsellus Wallace, my husband, your boss, told you to take ME out and do WHATEVER I WANTED.     Trivia: Uma Thurman originally turned down the role of Mia Wallace. Quentin Tarantino was so desperate to have her as Mia, he ended up reading her the script over the phone, finally convincing her to take on the role

The Japanese B2 film poster offered here is no exception. This Style B “character” version features a design unique to Japan featuring the Director and Writer, Quentin Tarantino and the actors – Bruce Willis,  John Travolta and Uma Thurman. It is the only poster to feature head shot photographs of the main players. Unique Japanese artwork and very cool looking this is a fantastic original poster for Quentin Tarantino’s most celebrated film to date.     Trivia: Mysterio’s “fishbowl” helmet is inspired by illustrations from classic Spider-Man comic books. When creating the look of his suit, the costume designers looked to Iron Man, Vision, Doctor Strange, and Thor.
