“The Bride is back for the final cut…and She will Kill Bill”
The ‘Bride’ dressed as a bride for Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill” sequel, the imaginatively titled “Kill Bill: Volume 2”. Uma Thurman is not your normal bride though as she is expertly wielding a Katana sword. This is a stylish looking 2004 one-sheet movie poster with artwork designed by the creative arts agency BLT Communications. Offered in original rolled (as issued) condition, this fine example presents to very good effect with minimal of handling wear and represents a cool and eye-catching piece of Quentin Tarantino movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The boots Uma Thurman has on when she is buried alive are the same boots that Michael Madsen used in Reservoir Dogs (1992) when he cut off the police officer’s ear. The same straight razor is also used.

Taking audiences by storm at the box-office it was never expected (by the Studio) to be the huge worldwide success it turned out to be with a merchandising and marketing budget not reflected in the success. Although a relatively recent release any paper for Edgar Wright’s 2021 horror mystery “Last Night in Soho” is highly desirable. Not only because it is such a stylish and cool thriller movie but because of a beautiful painted movie poster created by artist, James Paterson. Although a huge success with audiences and critics alike the movie is considered somewhat ‘art-house’ and had a very limited cinema release resulting in the scarcity of the posters used in the marketing campaign with this particular one-sheet design only being used for cinemas where Edgar Wright undertook personal appearances for ‘question & answer’ screenings. Originally rolled (as issued) this British one-sheet movie poster looks and displays to excellent effect with minimal handling wear with imagery perfectly suited to the portrait style format; the subtle use of colours are particularly memorable. A scarce, ‘modern’ original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly talented director that looks very very cool !

In the desolate wastelands of a post apocalyptic world, stands Max (Mel Gibson) – it’s an iconic image as the ‘Road Warrior’ looks to battle the movie’s three villains. All who are featured on the poster – Wes (Vernon Wells), Mohawk Biker (Guy Norris) and The Humungus (Kjell Nilsson). This first year of release, country of origin, original 1981 Australian One-Sheet is presented in excellent, folded (as issued) condition that displays superbly with deep, vibrant colours and stunning sci-fi action imagery. A very desirable and rare film poster from one of the most genre defining and influential film’s ever made.
Trivia: According to George Miller, it was Mel Gibson‘s idea to make Max look as rough and ragged as he did. Before filming began, he cut his own hair and eyebrows, cut the sleeve off his leather jacket, and tore up his gloves.

Truly one of the greatest gangster films ever made Sergio Leone’s Once Upon A Time In America. An epic, episodic, tale of the lives of a small group of New York City Jewish gangsters spanning over 40 years and thankfully it has a movie poster to match it. This original 1984 US one-sheet features beautiful atmospheric design with a fantastic image of the Brooklyn Bridge and sepia colours that are a perfect complement to Leone’s film. Originally folded (as issued) this rare example is presented in beautiful unrestored condition; it presents and displays to excellent effect and represents an impressive example of very collectable original movie memorabilia from a multi award winning film and one of cinema’s leading directors.
Trivia: Sergio Leone had refused the offer to direct The Godfather (1972), an opportunity he deeply regretted. This may have partly inspired him to try a gangster film. Leone has also notably used the flashback technique pioneered in The Godfather: Part II (1974).

With incredibly high production values and unique design dynamics (QT personally supervises the selection process) it is difficult to imagine a Tarantino movie where any of the posters and merchandising produced isn’t so hugely collectable and sought after. The 2019 country of origin ‘Coming Soon’ US / International Style B one sheet offered here is no exception. Designed by creative arts agency WORKS ADV and intended to complement the Style A design which features Brad Pitt & Leonardo DiCaprio this is truly a striking poster featuring Margot Robbie who plays the ‘doomed’ Sharon Tate in the Film outside the famous Westwood Village Theatre in Los Angeles. Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect without a blemish of note and represents a hugely collectable and totally cool piece of movie memorabilia from a truly iconic movie maker.
Trivia: Originally skeptical of the project, Sharon Tate’s sister Debra Tate gave the film and Margot’s portrayal of Sharon her blessing after Debra was embraced by Tarantino himself and became aware of how her sister would be represented within the film. Debra referred to Margot as a “dedicated craftsman,” and praised the actress’s research of Sharon prior to meeting with her.

Tarantino hired three classic poster artists (Steven Chorney, Martin Duhovic, and Renato Casaro, who Tarantino had to coax out of retirement) to create four great wilding posters that are ‘faux’ posters, designed to look like they were from a movie that the lead character (Rick Dalton) had made in the 1970s. This particular poster was designed by Renato Casaro for the faux western movie “Uccidimi Subito Ringo, disse il Gringo” and looks magnificent in this large format. Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect without a blemish of note and represents a hugely collectable and totally cool piece of movie memorabilia from a truly iconic movie maker… “Hey! You’re Rick fucking Dalton, don’t you forget it.”
