A limited edition alternative movie poster by Laurent Durieux to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Jean-Luc Godard’s masterpiece “Le Mepris” (Contempt). In 2003 John Dower’s Brit Pop documentary “Live Forever” was released….Featuring the talents of Oasis, Blur, Pulp, Jarvis Cocker, Noel Gallagher, Liam Gallagher, Damon Albarn, Toby Young and Damien Hirst. An excellent documentary capturing the phenomenon of the Britpop passage. It is worth noting that I think that even if you didn’t get the whole Britpop experience it is still worth watching to try and understand exactly what the period of time tried to encapsulate. Dragging Britain from a period of being totally dormant, to generating great music and creating an aura of genuine invincibility. A highlight of the film has to be the Damien Hirst designed UK quad movie poster. A real eye catching, talking piece poster for a movie that quickly became a cult classic. Genuinely scarce and in very short supply due to a limited cinema release. Never commercially available it is believed that there are a small number currently in circulation making genuine examples such as the one of offer here even more desirable.
Limited Edition Damien Hirst prints regularly sell for £1,000+ so this original ”Live Forever” UK quad movie poster represents exceptional value and it looks really cool !

“Let the festivities begin”
Titled “The May Queen” this impressive giclee art print inspired by Ari Aster’s cult classic horror film “MidSommar” features the beautiful and intricate artwork of Ukrainian artist Ann Bembi, who’s photo-realistic style perfectly suits the content. With shades of “Wicker Man” the bright colours and sea of flowers can’t hide the anguish and fear of lead actress Florence Pugh (Dani). A lovely alternative movie poster for this slow-burn pagan horror that has a rapidly growing cult following. Available for a strictly limited one-hour time window on April 5th 2022 when 580 were ordered, with the poster here being hand-numbered #222. Originally rolled (as issued) it presents and displays to excellent effect and represents an outstanding piece of horror genre movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The practice of ättestupa is effectively a myth. As depicted in the movie, the elderly were expected to sacrifice for the good of the village, maintaining efficiency.

“Act like you own the place…”
Through films like Okja and Snowpiercer, director Bong Joon Ho has dazzled audiences with his unique knack for blending genres to tell layered, one-of-a-kind stories and now in the South Korean black comedy thriller “Parasite” he is receiving the critical and commercial acclaim he so richly deserves. To complement the Oscar success the hugely respected alternative movie poster printer Mondo commissioned Rory Kurtz to design a poster to complement the success. Winning four (4) Oscars at the 2020 ceremony, including Best Picture, Directing, International Feature Film and Writing (Original Screenplay). Kurtz’ artwork captures the seemingly picture-perfect moment between the happily rich Parks completely oblivious to what’s unfolding around them, and the Kim family relegated to the shadows struggling with their own complex feelings toward such wealth and privilege. This is a limited edition timed released, hand-numbered #616/2120. The example offered here presents and displays to excellent effect being originally rolled (as issued) with incredibly strong colours. An outstanding and extremely scarce ‘modern’ art/film poster that represents a fantastic piece of movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The film makes several nods to Alfred Hitchcock throughout. Stairs are used as a motif, voyeurism is used as characters watch scenes through windows 14 times, and (most obviously) there is a brief glimpse of an out of place Alfred Hitchcock collection in the Park’s home.

A superb and eye-catching alternative movie poster by Graham Humphreys’ for “Planet Terror”, Robert Rodriguez‘ homage to the ‘Grindhouse’ movies of the Seventies. A clever, stylish design as heroes, zombies and monsters adorn the background with a centre-piece which focuses on the iconic Rose McGowan‘s ‘machine gun legged’ character – Cherry Darling. Presented in excellent unrestored, rolled (as issued) condition with amazingly vibrant colour tones this hand-numbered Artist Proof edition from 2021 is hand-numbered #AP 2/5 and has been signed by Graham Humphrey’s that represents a an amazing piece of cinematic memorabilia.
Trivia: Michael Parks reprises his character as Sheriff Earl McGraw in Planet Terror (2007). He also played Sheriff Earl McGraw in Robert Rodriguez’s From Dusk Till Dawn (1996), as well as Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003), and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004).

“Poltergeist” is a no holds barred, roller coaster ride through the supernatural world and back to ours from the creative minds of Steven Spielberg, Tobe Hooper, Jerry Goldsmith, and Beatrice Straight that brings a modern take to the haunted house genre and it’s effects on a normal suburban family who live there. One of the best films of the 1980’s and certainly one of Schwarzenegger’s finest roles, “Predator“ is a film I’ve seen more times than I care to remember. Directed by John McTiernan, who would go on to helm “Die Hard” the following year (arguably the greatest action movie ever made), the film is an excellent mix of gung-ho action and sci-fi horror with a truly iconic monster (designed by Stan Winston). The rare alternative movie poster offered here is from the 2025 release and was created as a private commission piece by the talented Thai artist, Wiwat. With a very limited print run of only 40 this has been hand-numbered #32. Showcasing a unique and visually striking design and produced using the screen print technique, the imagery captures the essence of the Predator in a bold and dynamic style. Perfect for fans of the franchise or collectors of art inspired by the Predator. Originally rolled (as issued) this beautiful example displays and presents to excellent effect and represents a fine piece of collectable cinematic movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The Predator costume weighed over two hundred pounds, and even though 7’2″ Kevin Peter Hall was a large and powerful man, he had to be connected to a “bungie” rig, to enable him to move more believably.

The success of “Predator” when released in 1987 meant a sequel was always inevitable, however the action hero of the first movie wasn’t available – move over Arnie and welcome Danny Glover. Not only was there a new direction for the hero but the jungles of South America were swapped for a crime ridden Los Angeles. A clever follow up in many ways as it really does continue where the first movie finished as the Government, now fully aware of an other worldly being try to turn the tables and trap a predator – bad move. This 2021 Private Commission by Juan Carlos Ruiz Burgos features spectacular artwork, and is actually the first time a licensed print for “Predator 2” has been issued, and frankly it would be a hard to find a better one as Burgos really has created something special. Titled ‘The Concrete Jungle‘ it is printed on Cougar White paper using fifteen (15) coloured inks which includes a glitter varnish used to mimic the wet skin of the Predator and a bright luminous green glow in the dark ink for the title. Hand-numbered #45 from a print run 110 this beautiful example displays and presents to excellent effect and represents an incredible looking piece of modern cinematic memorabilia.
Trivia: Keyes (Gary Busey) is the first character to ever use the word “predator” to refer to the creature on-screen when he says “we’ve prepared a trap for this predator”. The word “predators” is also used by Isabelle in Predators (2010), but she uses it to refer to the human characters in the film, not the Predator creatures. It wasn’t until The Predator (2018) that the creature itself is referred to as ‘predator’ again, with someone adding that the term ‘hunter’ would be more appropriate.

“Before man walked the earth…it slept for centuries. It is evil. It is real. It is awakening.”
“Prince of Darkness” sees John Carpenter not just in the director’s chair, he wrote the soundtrack and also the screenplay under the pseudonym Martin Quatermass, which is a direct homage to Bernard Quatermass, the lead character in Hammer’s film and TV series that started with The Quatermass Experiment and that features several elements in common with Carpenter’s story. The film is the second in what the director calls his ‘Apocalypse Trilogy’ that started with The Thing (1982) and ended with In the Mouth of Madness (1994) and is the result of Carpenter’s interest in theoretical physics and atomic theory as well as the idea of an ultimate evil or ‘anti-god’ combined with the physics-based concept of matter and anti-matter. Carpenter always a well regarded and popular film maker has enjoyed a huge renaissance in more recent years so it was no surprise that this title was one of four seminal movies by the director re-released by Studio Canal in 2018, remastered in 4K, with the others being “They Live”, “Escape From New York” and “The Fog”. All four movies had a strictly limited cinematic release and were accompanied a newly designed poster campaign (quads and one-sheets) by leading artist Matt Ferguson. Ferguson’s unique artistic style is evident throughout the four, each with its very own unique colour palette. A number of these full-size 30″ x 40″ UK quad styles were also released as a limited edition art print by Vice Press. Identical to the cinematic quad, in fact exactly the same – same paper, printer etc these were issued as timed releases each signed and hand-numbered by Matt Ferguson. Offered here is one of these signed art prints numbered #48 from a print run of only 184. Originally rolled (as issued) it presents in excellent condition. A cool, cult poster that represents very collectable & desirable original film memorabilia from one of the greatest and most influential director’s who is still actively working in the film industry.
Trivia: John Carpenter claims to have been fascinated with religion ever since watching the old Hammer horror films and how Holy Water would destroy vampires.

Based upon Rob Bottin’s iconic ‘robo’ suit design Paul Mann produced the perfect alternative movie poster to complement his graphics. A truly striking image for Paul Verhoeven’s ultra violent sci-fi masterpiece “Robocop” that is perfectly suited to the portrait format of this edition. Robocop is offset against a colourful background of supporting characters and action imagery, that are made to stand out when placed in front of the black background. It gives a depth that gives an almost 3D effect to the colour imagery. Printed by Mad Duck in 2022 this limited edition art print is hand-numbered #47 from a print run of 200. Artist Saniose has produced the perfect alternative movie poster for Paul Verhoeven’s ultra violent sci-fi masterpiece “Robocop” Titled the Battle Damage edition Robocop is offset against a colourful background of action packed imagery and supporting characters, including the iconic ED 209. One of the greatest and most influential gangster movies of all time and this 2022 limited edition art print by Matt Ferguson and Florey is one of the best alternative movie posters produced for Brian De Palma’s “Scarface”. Hand-signed by both artists this artist proof edition released by Vice Press features a key scene from the movie as Tony Montana sits brooding in his darkened study awaiting the violent and bloody onslaught he knows is coming with the rug cleverly illustrated to resemble a river of blood. A fantastic example of highly desirable movie memorabilia, that’s very cool and looks incredible.
Trivia: The international corporation set up by Saddam Hussein to launder money from his various enterprises was called Montana Management after the Scarface (1983) main character.
