“A roaring rampage of revenge”
Quentin Tarantino’s 4th Film…“Kill Bill” is a bloody, revenge driven, martial arts epic. Released in 2003 it proved a huge success and much like previous Tarantino movie merchandising the film posters became very collectable. Designed by creative arts agency Empire Design the final release UK quad (as featured) immediately catches the attention. Vivid bright yellow is dominant in not only the poster background but in Uma Thurman’s (The Bride) leather flight suit. This original 2003 UK quad film poster is presented in excellent rolled condition and displays extremely well and as Tarantino has such a huge fanbase very desirable and because of a typically low print run very rare. As all Tarantino films are aimed for that more mature 18+ audience the merchandising budget isn’t what you would expect from a general release feature and as such nearly all the posters & promotional items produced are in very low numbers; making his memorabilia very collectable & scarce.
Trivia: The Bride’s yellow outfit was inspired by the outfit worn by Bruce Lee in his final film, Game of Death (1978).

Exploitation film posters don’t get better than Tom Beauvais’ artwork for the 1979 UK quad “Jaws/Piranha” rip-off for “Killer Fish”. Italian financing and production at its finest with an all-star (TV) cast filming on location in Brazil and Rio De Janeiro. Cashing in on his kudos as “The Six Million Dollar Man”, Majors is prominent on this British movie poster which contains a great mix of characters and action. The rare original UK quad film poster offered here is from first year of release 1979. Originally folded (as issued) this scarce unrestored example presents to excellent effect with impressive ‘B’ movie action monster art and bright vivid colours. A fine piece of very desirable collectable original movie memorabilia for a much loved cult classic.

It’s not often I get a poster in that makes me go WOW ! especially a recent offering. Well this original 2024 UK quad for Wes Ball’s “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” is such a poster. The franchise, from its original 1968 beginnings through to the Matt Reeves reboots is a personal favourite of mine and this poster is truly one of the best I have ever seen. The composition, detailed, intricate design by creative arts agency LA & Ten30 Studios is superb. The colours are stunning, deep & unfaded. The “Planet of the Apes” premise is considered one of the pivotal sci-fi movies series’ ever made and this is a worthy addition to the canon that represents a magnificent piece of film poster art.
Trivia: The first Planet of the Apes film to be filmed for IMAX.

Largely due to the “Star Wars” effect and the huge global popularity of the “Dungeons & Dragons” role playing game, the 1980’s truly was the decade of the mystical sword and sorcery fantasy. Filmed at Pinewood Studios, largely using the same staff and crew that had previously worked on James Bond and Star Wars, Peter Yates’ “KRULL” has stood the test of time well and is fondly remembered. Boasting some of the best fantasy art seen on a movie poster by Josh Kirby this original 1983 UK quad for “KRULL” certainly impresses. Scarce and hard to find in this high grade condition, this originally folded (as issued) example looks fantastic and presents in exceptional condition that represents a fine piece of hugely collectable original 80’s sci-fi fantasy movie memorabilia.
Trivia: A hand that could physically transform into a “Changeling Claw” was developed for the movie, but due to time constraints could not be developed in time and was not used in the film. The piece later was completed for Tobe Hooper‘s movie Lifeforce (1985).

Incredibly rare original 1971 French Grande “Le Mans” movie poster. Any paper from this sought after Steve McQueen motor racing title is sought after, with the French Grande design considered one of the very best for this iconic McQueen movie. Beautiful, photo realistic painted artwork by Rene Ferracci, featuring a stunning image of McQueen as a backdrop to the race cars, that in this large format is particularly impressive. Originally folded (as issued) this unrestored example presents and displays to very good effect with only minimal age and handling wear. A film where any posters are genuinely scarce and very hard to find due to the very limited cinematic release at the time. It has (over time) become an iconic and much admired motor sports film showing just why Steve McQueen was the true King of Cool…Highly recommended; a personal favourite, classic and elegant…A great looking piece of truly collectable movie and motor racing memorabilia and it’s STEVE MCQUEEN ! …“Racing’s important to men who do it well. When you’re racing, it’s life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting”
Trivia: The 1970 911S Porsche driven by Steve McQueen in the opening scenes (and owned by his Solar Productions) was auctioned in 2011 and brought in $1.375 million and his worn racing suit from the movie sold for $960.000

An outstanding modern reimagined film poster for a true cinematic classic. A limited edition alternative movie poster by Laurent Durieux to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Jean-Luc Godard’s masterpiece “Le Mepris” (Contempt). The unmistakable style of Durieux makes for a truly outstanding art print. Signed by Durieux (full signature) and hand-numbered 17 from a print run of 150, with a beautiful, subtle colour palette, this rolled (as issued) poster displays and presents to excellent effect and represents a super rare & sought item of movie memorabilia.
Trivia: In the audio commentary for Taxi Driver (1976), Martin Scorsese stated that this is his favorite Jean-Luc Godard film.

A rare original country of origin 1985 UK quad film poster for Chris Bernard’s “Letter To Brezhnev” designed and illustrated by the British punk illustrator and designer, Jamie Reid, the artist responsible for most of the Sex Pistols’ influential graphics. This poster is featured in Sim Branaghan’s excellent book British Film Posters. He says of the poster and Palace Pictures – “The British producer and distributor, Palace pictures, maintained a higher design standard than most with the poster for Letter to Brezhnev one of the very last genuinely distinctive artist-designed British film posters”. Originally folded (as issued) this excellent example presents exceptionally well and represents a fine piece of collectable memorabilia from one of Punk’s best known artists.
Trivia: The script was written in only two weeks and the film was shot in three weeks.

A country of origin US One Sheet from original year of release, 1987 for Joel Schumacher’s classic 1980s vampire flick – “The Lost Boys”. Designed by Intralink Film Graphic Design and with artwork by John Alvin this is a very striking original movie poster featuring the teen vampires in all their undead glory presented in muted grey stones against a bright, blood red background. Originally rolled (as issued) this example presents to excellent effect and represents a fantastic piece of original cinematic memorabilia for this super popular movie…“Something I never could stomach about Santa Carla, all the damn vampires!”
Trivia: In the cave of the Lost Boys, you can see a poster of Jim Morrison, who recorded the original version of “People are Strange” with The Doors. Also, when Star and Laddie are being carried into Sam’s room, you can see a poster of Echo & The Bunnymen, who recorded the version used in the movie.
