Sergio Leone’s “The Dollars Trilogy” is lauded (rightly so) as the greatest spaghetti westerns ever made with any paper from the films extremely sought after which makes this incredibly scarce 2024 Japanese remastered 4K film festival release for the first in the series, and the one that started it all – “A Fistful of Dollars” a real find. Not only super rare it arguably boasts one of the best poster images of Eastwood from any of his ‘Blondie’ – the man with no name titles. An eye-catching photo design that features three images – long distance, middle distance and close up. An extremely limited release with a very small print run these posters are a truly collectible ‘modern’ piece of Eastwood/spaghetti western movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Clint Eastwood‘s contract for Rawhide (1959) prohibited him from making movies in the United States while on break from the series. However, the contract did allow him to accept movie assignments in Europe.

Not only super rare it arguably boasts a clever and stylish poster designs. An eye-catching photo-montage that features the lead characters Eastwood, Van Cleef and Volonte and key scenes shaped into the letters that make up the title. An extremely limited release with a very small print run these posters are a truly collectable ‘modern’ piece of Eastwood/spaghetti western movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The Man with No Name (Clint Eastwood) calls himself Monco in this movie. “Manco” is Spanish for “lame of one hand”, “one handed”, or “one armed”, which is pretty appropriate considering his habit of fighting, drinking, et cetera with his left hand only. His right hand always remains on his gun underneath his trademark poncho.

“Guardians of the Galaxy”… A bizarre assembly of misfits and losers which includes a gun-wielding genetically altered raccoon and a fighting tree creature whose could only speak a single phrase…“I am Groot”. Marvel was taking a chance, but needn’t have worried…Guardians was critical and commercial juggernaut which redefined the super hero genre and direction Marvel was to take. Being one of the most popular subjects for alternative movie posters, artist Ise Ananphada has created an incredible looking poster. Her hand-numbered #248/275 giclee screen print is a stunning piece that has captured the actors’ likenesses with real accuracy and being a giclee print the colours have an amazing, vibrant finish. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect, absolutely beautiful and a desirable item of modern collectable movie memorabilia from a truly exciting and cool film franchise.
Trivia: The sensor that Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) looks at when detecting the extra-dimensional creature during the opening of the movie is a modified 1977 Mattel handheld “Electronic Football” video game. Selling over one million units, this was one of the hottest items of Christmas 1977. The beep at the beginning is the “touchdown” sound, whilst the other beeps are the sound of the ball moving down the field.
What is Giclee ?
Derived from the French term gicler – meaning ‘to squirt or spray’, the term describes a printing process whereby microscopic dots of pigment-based ink are sprayed onto archival-quality paper to ensure the fidelity of a limited edition print to an original artwork.
The richness, accuracy and depth of colour is thanks to the method’s potential to achieve a huge colour gamut (the spectrum of colours distinguishable by the human eye). Unlike the four tones used in lithography, giclées often use five: light cyan, cyan, light magenta, yellow and black.
Fantastic for reproductions which require maximum detail, giclées are most commonly found on watercolour paper or canvas, but can also be created on glass. Different types of paper will produce different effects. Matte paper works well behind glass due its lack of reflectivity, whilst the shine of a glossy finish can give an artwork a brighter appearance.

His hand-numbered #42/100 giclee screen print is the Footloose edition printed on Fedrigoni Sirio Pearl Ice White Paper with a spot varnish finish using twelve (12) different coloured inks. It truly is a stunning piece that has captured the actors’ likenesses with real accuracy and being a giclee print the colours have an amazing, vibrant finish. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect, absolutely beautiful and a desirable item of modern collectable movie memorabilia from a truly exciting and cool film franchise.

“The most shocking tale of carnage ever seen.”
“House of 1000 Corpses” is a stylish, gore-laden 2003 offering which marks the directorial debut of Trash/Industrial Artist Musician Rob Zombie. Largely unheard of outside Zombie’s fiercely loyal fanbase it grew to be a cult horror classic, proving hugely influential for the low budget flicks that followed. This originally rolled (as issued) 2024 limited edition fine art print (hand-numbered #8/150) by Matt Ryan Tobin displays superbly with great horror imagery, as Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding takes centre stage in incredible kaleidoscope pf colour. Screen printed using glow in the dark inks the whole poster takes on a very different and eerie look when the lights go down (see additional image). A personal favourite and one the best offerings of 2024 that represents a fine example of horror memorabilia and a perfect example of why alternative movie posters are becoming so collectable.
Trivia: Otis’ and Baby’s bizarre rants during the “home movie” segments are inspired by the Charles Manson family’s supposed home movies.

There is no doubting the cinematic and cultural influence of Batman’s arch nemesis The Joker with this latest offering pairing him with Harley Quinn (Lady Gaga) looking to be the best yet. Joaquin Phoenix again stars as Arthur ‘Joker’ Fleck in Todd Phillips’ “Joker: Folie a Deux”. A sequel hugely anticipated by the fans as Phillips presents his own unique take on the ‘Clown Prince of Crime’. Advertising agency Legion Creative have designed a truly stunning teaser poster, featuring the titular Joker and newcomer Harley Quinn with the title ‘Folie a Deux’ cleverly incorporated into the JOKER typography. Much like the first movie which used ‘Put on a Happy Face’ as its tagline, the sequel takes ‘The World is a Stage’ as a clever enticement for the things to come. Originally rolled (as issued) this presents and displays to excellent effect and represents a hugely collectable item of movie memorabilia for one of popular culture’s most recognised anti-hero’s.
Trivia: The Joker’s make-up is very similar to John Wayne Gacy‘s, a serial killer who would often entertain children while dressed as Pogo the Clown. This make-up style was shunned by working clowns at the time, as they strictly prohibit “sharp” ends in their make-up, as it scares children.

It’s not often I get a poster in that makes me go WOW ! especially a recent offering. Well this original 2024 UK quad for Wes Ball’s “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” is such a poster. The franchise, from its original 1968 beginnings through to the Matt Reeves reboots is a personal favourite of mine and this poster is truly one of the best I have ever seen. The composition, detailed, intricate design by creative arts agency LA & Ten30 Studios is superb. The colours are stunning, deep & unfaded. The “Planet of the Apes” premise is considered one of the pivotal sci-fi movies series’ ever made and this is a worthy addition to the canon that represents a magnificent piece of film poster art.
Trivia: The first Planet of the Apes film to be filmed for IMAX.

This Japanese B1 one-sheet is offered unrestored, rolled (as issued) and presented in excellent condition…A truly great eye-catching item of cinema memorabilia from the “man with no name” trilogy…“There are two kinds of spurs, my friend. Those that come in by the door; those that come in by the window”
Trivia: Clint Eastwood wore the same poncho through all three “Man with No Name” movies without replacement or cleaning.

Coralie Fargeat’s “The Substance” received the longest standing ovation out of all films shown at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival with the accompanying UK quad an outstanding example of clever poster design. This original 2024 film poster is one of the most sought after recent titles of the horror genre – a series of photos combining reviews and scenes from the movie. Totally original and unrestored this rolled (as issued) poster displays and presents to excellent effect that due to the very limited cinematic screenings represents a super rare & sought item of authentic horror movie memorabilia.
Trivia: In several interviews, Demi Moore said that reading the script of The Substance (2024) reminded her of the script for Ghost (1990), because the chance that it could be amazing or a disaster was the same. That was crucial for her to accept the role.
