A marvellous example of sexually suggestive swinging sixties movie posters, a 1968 Japanese B2 film poster for Jack Cardiff’s cult psychedelic ‘road’ movie “Girl on a Motorcycle”. The style and design of this Japanese B2 example is perfectly suited by the portrait format with a marvellous full length body shot of Marianne Faithfull in leather biker suit. Unrestored and offered in excellent original condition with deep and unfaded colours. Highly collectable and an extremely scarce piece of original cinema movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Marianne Faithfull‘s gift motorcycle is a Harley Davidson Electra Glide; Alain Delon rides a 750cc Norton Atlas.

“Mr Bond. I’m so glad I caught you. Your office called. They’re sending a helicopter to pick you up. Some sort of emergency…It usually is. Thank you”
After the excesses of the previous movie “Moonraker” this is more of return to a realistic spy thriller in John Glen’s “For Your Eyes Only”. This Australian daybill film poster from first year of release 1981 features the memorable worldwide artwork campaign that incorporates the “legs” aspect of Bill Gold’s design and Brian Bysouth’s beautifully detailed finished all-action artwork. The original movie poster offered here is presented in exceptional unrestored, folded (as issued) condition and is perfectly suited to the thinner portrait style of the daybill. Colours are bright, vibrant and unfaded. Hugely desirable and very collectable, it would be a worthy addition to any collection of James Bond movie memorabilia and is a truly impressive 007 poster.
Trivia: after much debate the infamous “legs” belong to New York model Joyce Bartle.
…more detailIt’s not often I get a poster in that makes me go WOW ! especially a recent offering. Well this original 2024 UK quad for Wes Ball’s “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” is such a poster. The franchise, from its original 1968 beginnings through to the Matt Reeves reboots is a personal favourite of mine and this poster is truly one of the best I have ever seen. The composition, detailed, intricate design by creative arts agency LA & Ten30 Studios is superb. The colours are stunning, deep & unfaded. The “Planet of the Apes” premise is considered one of the pivotal sci-fi movies series’ ever made and this is a worthy addition to the canon that represents a magnificent piece of film poster art.
Trivia: The first Planet of the Apes film to be filmed for IMAX.

Heavy metal rock gods don’t come any more legendary than Motorhead front man ‘Lemmy’ (Lemmy Kilmister). A true British institution and all-round ‘top-bloke’ as featured here in the 2010 documentary “Lemmy” by Greg Olliver and Wes Orshoski. With testimonials by rock’s leading ‘Hall of Famers” (many of which are featured on the UK quad design) this is a remarkable cinematic biography. Designed by OTMentertain the imagery on the British quad places Lemmy centre stage offset against an ‘Ace of Spades’ logo. The advertising campaign for the movie was very low key and the UK film posters that accompanied the extremely limited cinema release are truly scarce. Originally rolled (as issued) this incredibly rare example displays to excellent effect and represents a fantastic collectable item of music, film and cultural memorabilia.
Trivia: The film crew had to clean Lemmy’s kitchen to shoot the shot of Lemmy making breakfast cause Lemmy didn’t want to do it or to shoot in a dirty kitchen.

What do you want it for, to kill the critics?”
…more detailA critical and commercial success and perhaps the best British movie (gangster or otherwise) ever made…John MacKenzie’s “The Long Good Friday”. Receiving a very limited release in UK cinemas (it was nearly never released due to financial problems & only saved as a cinematic production by George Harrison, with his Handmade Films stepping in at the 11th hour) meant that any paper is scarce, making this original 1980 UK quad film poster a rare find especially in such high grade condition. Featuring stark black & white country unique design & artwork this excellent unrestored example presents near perfectly. Folded (as issued) it represents an exceptional piece of collectible original film memorabilia from a true British gangster classic…“The Mafia? I’ve shit ’em”
“Flesh to touch…Flesh to burn! Don’t keep the Wicker Man waiting !”
An outstanding modern example of a true British classic. An original 2023 Country of Origin British UK quad film poster for Robin Hardy’s cult horror masterpiece “The Wicker Man”. One of the most sought after titles of the horror genre. Completely new and re-imagined artwork was commissioned for the 50th Anniversary release of the movie featuring pagan dancers and only a glimpse of the sacrificial ‘wicker man’. Totally original and unrestored this rolled (as issued) poster displays and presents to excellent effect that due to the very limited cinematic screenings represents a super rare & sought item of authentic country of origin British horror movie memorabilia…“Come…It is time to keep your appointment with the Wicker Man.”
Trivia: Many years after making this movie, Edward Woodward re-visited some of the locations and claimed that he found the makeshift cross (that Howie makes out of some pieces of wood) still intact where it was left in the original scene.

An outstanding modern example of a true British horror classic. An original 2012 Country of Origin British UK quad film poster for Hammer Films’ horror “The Woman in Black”. Unlike the computer generated, photoshopped posters that accompanied the initial release, renowned horror illustrator Graham Humphreys was commissioned by Momentum and Hammer Films, to create an exclusive ‘old school’ horror poster for certain limited screenings as part of the Hammer Classic Film archive collection. These examples, all personally hand-signed by Humphreys are incredibly scarce and highly sought after by poster and Hammer collectors. Presented in original, unrestored condition this rolled (as issued) poster displays and presents to excellent effect that due to the very limited print run represents a sought item of horror movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The Woman in Black (2012) was originally passed by the British Board of Film Classification with a 15 certificate. However the distributor, Momentum Pictures, suggested several cuts and the BBFC agreed to a lower 12A certificate. Despite this, it was this film which was most complained about to the BBFC in 2011.
