To Trap a Spy

“Your Favourite U.N.C.L.E.’s Have a Date With Danger.!”

At the height of “spy mania” in the mid- 1960’s, MGM sought to exploit their phenomenally successful “Man From U.N.C.L.E.” TV series with low-budget, big screen adaptations of episodes that had been edited together. The admittedly cheap tactic was nevertheless effective and To Trap A Spy was the very first U.N.C.L.E film released in 1964. The accompanying UK quad film poster offered here featured its own country unique British artwork of the characters (okay Robert Vaughn as Napoleon Solo) with a great 60’s feel about it and is presented in excellent unrestored originally folded (as issued) condition which displays superbly with amazing vibrant colours. A genuinely scarce item, this beautiful original film poster represents a fine piece of very collectable British movie memorabilia appealing to a wide range of film fans for a much loved and hugely popular TV and film series.
