Queen Live in Budapest

“We Will..We Will..ROCK YOU !”

On 27th July 1986, British rock band Queen broke new ground by playing for the first time in Hungary, a country which was still under a communist dictatorship behind the Iron Curtain. The concert footage for this historic performance was captured by the Hungarian film maker János Zsombolyai and resulted in this “Queen Live in Budapest” music documentary. Essentially a country of origin film poster the marketing poster that accompanied the Czech release was designed by Pavel Jasansky and features a a great black & white ‘group’ photograph. The originally rolled (as issued), unrestored example offered here has minimal handling and displays & presents to excellent effect. Very rare, as it received a very limited release in Czechoslovakia in 1987 and was only shown in a handful of  ‘art-house’ cinemas. Only released in largely Eastern Bloc areas in the late 1980’s there are no Western posters available for the title as it never had a cinematic release & was only made available on DVD/Blu Ray etc in 2012. A must have title for the serious Queen fan & collector that represents a fantastic item of collectable music & movie memorabilia.
