The unmistakable glamour and danger of James Bond are brought together in Fit to Kill, a limited-edition print by legendary American illustrator Robert McGinnis. The richly textured red background creates a characteristically stylish combination of sophistication, sensuality and concealed menace.
McGinnis helped define the visual identity of 1960s and 1970s Bond through his celebrated artwork for films including Thunderball,You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and Diamonds Are Forever. His elegant figures, assured draughtsmanship and dynamic compositions remain inseparable from the golden age of illustrated cinema advertising.
Published as part of the Robert McGinnis Hollywood Edition, this example is personally signed by the artist and hand-numbered #17 from a limited edition of 500 and is accompanied by its Robert McGinnis Hollywood Edition Certificate of Authenticity. With tremendous visual impact and distinguished Bond provenance, it makes a superb display piece for collectors of 007, Robert McGinnis and classic cinematic illustration.
