  Artist Casey Booth is back from a trip to Santa Carla with a stunning giclee print that bites for Joel Schumacher’s “The Lost Boys”. This 2026 hand-numbered (#25/75) limited edition release is a proper horror poster as leader of The Lost Boys – David (Kiefer Sutherland) is the main focus with the would be vampire hunters blended into the background and printed using an incredible colour palette of blood reds inks. Presented in excellent condition this rolled, flat and unfolded (as issued) example displays superbly and is an impressive piece of artwork and a hugely desirable alternative movie poster. This is THE teenage angst vampire movie with this high grade poster showcasing the teen vampires in all their undead glory…“Something I never could stomach about Santa Carla, all the damn vampires!”

  Trivia: In the cave of the Lost Boys, you can see a poster of Jim Morrison, who recorded the original version of “People are Strange” with The Doors. Also, when Star and Laddie are being carried into Sam’s room, you can see a poster of Echo & The Bunnymen, who recorded the version used in the movie.

  What is Giclee ?

  Derived from the French term gicler – meaning ‘to squirt or spray’, the term describes a printing process whereby microscopic dots of pigment-based ink are sprayed onto archival-quality paper to ensure the fidelity of a limited edition print to an original artwork.

  The richness, accuracy and depth of colour is thanks to the method’s potential to achieve a huge colour gamut (the spectrum of colours distinguishable by the human eye). Unlike the four tones used in lithography, giclées often use five: light cyan, cyan, light magenta, yellow and black.

  Fantastic for reproductions which require maximum detail, giclées are most commonly found on watercolour paper or canvas, but can also be created on glass. Different types of paper will produce different effects. Matte paper works well behind glass due its lack of reflectivity, whilst the shine of a glossy finish can give an artwork a brighter appearance.

  With the growing popularity of online streaming and Viewing On Demand certain TV shows have achieved viewing figures that are comparable to major Hollywood films. Alan Ball’s “TRUE BLOOD” is one such TV show. Based on the best selling vampire novels of Charlaine Harris the HBO produced series proved incredibly popular running over 7 Seasons from 2008 – 2014. Introducing the viewer to vampires, werewolves, witches, goblins and fairies “TRUE BLOOD” was one of the most popular TV shows across the globe without a truly large and devoted fan base. Like the Movie studios, TV companies began treating their shows with similar advertising campaigns and posters and merchandising were produced to promote their most popular products. This is a rare example of the 201o US one sheet style TV poster used to promote Season 3 of “TRUE BLOOD”. Featuring a great ‘dark moody’ and very sexy cast shot it’s a fantastic looking piece and guaranteed original. Presented in excellent near mint rolled (as issued) condition it appears almost faultless and represents an investment grade example of desirable and collectable original TV memorabilia.

  What We Do in the Shadows

  A superb and eye-catching alternative movie poster by Graham Humphreys’ for the cult dark comedy horror “What We Do in the Shadows”. Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement.created the clever idea of a family of vampires living together under the same roof and the struggles they encounter in modern day life. Each vampire housemate bears some resemblance to a past screen vampire – Nosferatu, David (Lost Boys),  Dracula (Gary Oldman), Edward (Twilight zone) and Louis fromInterview With the Vampire. And it’s these five who feature on this 2015 Hand-Numbered (#AP 39/40) Artist Proof print that has also been signed by the artist – Graham Humphrey. Presented in excellent unrestored, rolled (as issued) condition with amazingly vibrant colour tones that truly pop from the paper (the photo doesn’t do this justice)it almost appears to be painted. A super-cool piece of cinematic memorabilia and artwork.

  Trivia: The hill where the vampires have a run-in with the werewolves is the same hill filmed in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), where Frodo and the hobbits are running from the Black Rider and hiding under the roots of a tree.
