“Riddle me this, riddle me that, who’s afraid of the big, black bat?“
Riddle me this – how can you get the most colourful Batmobile yet in your living room? Simple, purchase this incredible, hand-numbered (#96/275) screen print from Matt Ferguson for Joel Schumacher’s 1995 comic book caper “Batman Forever”. Ferguson’s ongoing Batman and Batmobile series continues, and this time, he’s got Seal’s Kiss from a Rose blaring out of the Bat-stereo. “Batman Forever” is a visually spectacular movie combining a colourful cast, and a bonkers plot that while divisive, is undoubtedly wildly entertaining and whilst Jim Carrey is no Jack Nicholson, his Riddler steals the show from one-time Batman – Val KIlmer. Ferguson’s Batmobile series focuses on Bruce Wayne’s incredible rides from throughout Batman’s history, and he’s added a ton of fun details and Easter eggs from both the film and general Ferguson lore. Originally rolled (as issued) this displays to excellent effect with the day glo, neon coloured inks adding a real kinetic energy to the imagery and represents a truly eye-catching alternative movie poster from one of the most memorable Batman movies.
Trivia: This is the first movie to refer to Batman as “The Dark Knight”.

“Top Gun” was one of the greatest movies ever to come out of the 1980’s and certainly one of the best ‘pop corn’ films of all-time, so it’s some surprise that it’s taken another 34 years to once again take to the skies with ace naval fighter pilot Pete Mitchell as Tom Cruise returns to his best loved role in the much delayed (due to Covid 19) 2022 sequel “Top Gun: Maverick”. The image featured here on this British quad shows a flight-suit attired Cruise standing proudly in front of his jet fighter. Graphic design agency Concept Arts have created a truly memorable poster with an image that will be used for the worldwide marketing campaign. Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect with only minimal handling wear and represents a hugely collectable and totally cool piece of movie memorabilia for one of popular cinema’s most loved films.

A scarce movie poster for Tony Scott’s 1993 all-star crime actioner “True Romance”…Written by Quentin Tarantino to raise the funds for Reservoir Dogs this hugely under-rated ‘heist/car chase’ film retains a truly loyal cult following. Featuring a multitude of character shots this originally rolled (as issued) example is in excellent unrestored condition that presents & displays superbly…Incredibly COOL & a fine piece of highly collectible original film movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Although this movie was not directed by Quentin Tarantino, it is still considered part of the Tarantino universe. The two key pieces of evidence, is Lee Donowitz being the grandson of Sergeant Donnie Donowitz from Inglourious Basterds (2009), this being confirmed by Tarantino. The second piece of evidence, is the fact that Mr. White from Reservoir Dogs(1992) mentioned working with a girl named “Alabama”.

Largely due to the “Star Wars” effect and the huge global popularity of the “Dungeons & Dragons” role playing game, the 1980’s truly was the decade of the mystical sword and sorcery fantasy. Ron Howard’s’ “Willow” has stood the test of time well and is fondly remembered with a large and loyal fanbase. Boasting some amazing fantasy art for the British poster campaign by Brian Bysouth, (one of the most prolific and respected artists working in this field) this original 1988 UK quad for “Willow” certainly impresses. Scarce and hard to find in this high grade condition, this originally folded (as issued) example looks fantastic and presents in exceptional condition that represents a fine piece of hugely collectable original 80’s sci-fi fantasy movie memorabilia.
Trivia: George Lucas specifically wrote this film for Warwick Davis after meeting him on the set of “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983).”
