“Strength Now. Courage Always. Family, Above All. Batman and Robin!”
Long after Tim Burton re-invented him, Chris Chris Nolan re-imagined him and Ben Affleck played him as an older more mature Caped Crusader there was Joel Schumacher’s “Batman & Robin” 90s neon in this this hugely enjoyable not so Dark Knight adventure. An all-star bat-movie that sees George Clooney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Uma Thurman, Chris O’Donnell and Alicia Silverstone don their superhero and super villain costumes. The poster that accompanied the screening is a marvellous, colourful feast for the eyes with all five actors featured. Bright vibrant colours and beautiful graphics, this originally rolled (as issued) example is a great looking poster. I am a huge Batman fan (all incarnations) and this is one just shouts fun. A chance to purchase one of the campiest Batman posters (since Adam West and Burt Ward) ever produced and a magnificent item of collectable cinematic memorabilia.
Trivia: In an interview, the cast members were asked what item from filming they would like to take home. Arnold Schwarzenegger said he would be taking Mr. Freeze’s armor home. Uma Thurman said that she wanted Ivy’s floral throne. Elle Macpherson said she just wanted a cap or something with the movie’s logo before anyone else. George Clooney said he wanted Macpherson.

“A roaring rampage of revenge”
Quentin Tarantino’s 4th Film…“Kill Bill” is a bloody, revenge driven, martial arts epic. Released in 2003 it proved a huge success and much like previous Tarantino movie merchandising the film posters became very collectable. Designed by creative arts agency Empire Design the final release UK quad (as featured) immediately catches the attention. Vivid bright yellow is dominant in not only the poster background but in Uma Thurman’s (The Bride) leather flight suit. This original 2003 UK quad film poster is presented in excellent rolled condition and displays extremely well and as Tarantino has such a huge fanbase very desirable and because of a typically low print run very rare. As all Tarantino films are aimed for that more mature 18+ audience the merchandising budget isn’t what you would expect from a general release feature and as such nearly all the posters & promotional items produced are in very low numbers; making his memorabilia very collectable & scarce.
Trivia: The Bride’s yellow outfit was inspired by the outfit worn by Bruce Lee in his final film, Game of Death (1978).

The ‘Bride’ dressed as a bride for Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill” sequel, the imaginatively titled “Kill Bill: Volume 2”. Uma Thurman is not your normal bride though as she is expertly wielding a Katana sword. This is a stylish looking 2004 Japanese B2 film poster with artwork unique to Japan. The black background with bright pink dayglo lettering makes for an interesting combination that really works. Offered in original rolled (as issued) condition, this fine example presents to excellent effect with minimal of handling wear and represents a very cool and eye-catching piece of Quentin Tarantino movie memorabilia.

This is a stylish Advance dated – 23.04.04 British double crown film poster, designed by the creative arts agency BLT Communications that acts as a colour contrast (black against yellow as opposed to yellow against black) to the equivalent quad from Volume 1. There is no doubting the influence and impact of Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 masterpiece “Pulp Fiction” and like so many of the Tarantino films the paper from each has become hugely collectable, but it is the posters from “Pulp Fiction” that are easily the most popular and valuable. The Japanese B2 film poster offered here is no exception. This Style A “white” version features a design unique to Japan with the John Travolta & Uma Thurman key ‘dance off’ scene as the central focus and Bruce Willis as the back drop with Travolta (again) as hitman Vincent Vega in the foreground. It is also the only poster to feature head shot photographs of the main cast (running down the left edge). Unique artwork and very cool looking this is a fantastic original poster for Quentin Tarantino’s most celebrated film to date. I didn’t mean to do that. Please, continue, you were saying something about best intentions. What’s the matter? Oh, you were finished! Well, allow me to retort.
