“A battle fought in the stars, now… comes to Earth.”
A beautiful, Dolph Lungren autographed limited edition art print (hand-numbered #14/40) by artist Chris Barnes (also known as Brutal Posters) showing highly detailed depictions of the assortment of characters from Gary Goddard’s fantasy adventure “Masters of the Universe” (1987). The close-up image of Skeletor’s face in the top left corner is particularly striking, finished in soft shades of purple, which contrasts against the rest of the design. This alternative movie print from 2020 has been autographed by He-Man himself – Dolph Lungren, who also added his character name and the annotation – “I Have the Power.” The poster was signed in the USA at Galaxycon, Richmond on 24th-26th March and is accompanied by a full letter of authenticity. A fantastic item of hugely collectable pop-culture memorabilia.
Trivia: Many viewers of the film commented on actress Meg Foster‘s eerily effective contact lenses which gave her character Evil-Lyn a sinister and unearthly air. Actually she wore no contact lenses. Her eyes naturally have blue/grey irises and tiny pupils, giving her a striking appearance. She has often been cast in sci-fi/fantasy roles because of them and jokes that she appeals to casting directors as she brings her own special effect with her for free.

A classic and scarce original 2019 BFI 50th Anniversary 4K release British UK quad film poster for John Schlesinger’s multi Award winning “Midnight Cowboy”, still the only X-Rated movie to win an Oscar. It was nominated for seven and won three including Best Director for John Schlesinger which was an (then) unheard of return for an ‘X’ film. Beautiful distinctive character imagery; a great black & white character shot of ‘Ratso’ (Dustin Hoffman and ‘Joe’ (Jon Voight). Originally rolled (as issued) this example displays and presents to excellent effect with pure bright white background and crisp colour imagery. Showing in only a handful of independent and art-house cinemas the advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited cinema release is truly hard to find with this fine example representing an impressive item of collectable original cinematic memorabilia.
Trivia: Dustin Hoffman kept pebbles in his shoe to ensure his limp would be consistent from shot to shot.

An all-action sweeping vista of a film poster for Glen A. Larson’s sci-fi ‘epic’ “Mission Galactica: The Cylon Attack”. Receiving a full cinematic release in Europe & the UK (it was a edited together version of 3 TV shows released in the USA) largely cashing in on the still very popular ‘Star Wars’ phenomena. With some colourful, dynamic sci-fi artwork by Robert Tanenbaum (a homage to Tom Chantrell’s famous Style C art for ‘Star Wars’ perhaps ?) this original 1979 UK quad film poster is presented in excellent original unrestored, folded (as issued) condition that looks superb and displays to excellent effect with minimal age and handling wear; colours are deep and unfaded with some truly rip roaring imagery. This fine example represents a fantastic piece of very collectable and desirable original movie memorabilia for a much loved and hugely popular film and TV franchise.

Written by John Hughes and Directed by Harold Ramis “National Lampoon’s Vacation” is one of the strongest comedies of the 1980’s and stands head and shoulders above anything else from National Lampoon (Animal House runs it very close though) before or since while following the mishaps that befall the Griswold family on the way to the mythical theme park Walley World. The movie poster that accompanied the release is one of the most memorable and best of the comedy genre; a magnificent piece designed by leading fantasy artist Boris Vallejo….The original 1983 UK quad movie poster offered has been SIGNED by the three stars featured on the poster – CHEVY CHASE, BEVERLY D’ANGELO and CHRISTIE BRINKLEY with both D’Angelo and Brinkley adding their character names; Ellen Griswold and Ferrari Girl. All three signatures are lovely and clear in blue ink and really stand out against the neutral background. Originally folded (as issued) it is presented in excellent original unrestored condition with great colours and outstanding artwork. Very rare in such fine condition and SIGNED, it represents very collectable & desirable original film memorabilia from a film lauded as a modern comedy classic with iconic artwork that is sure to impress.
The signatures were obtained at Fan Expo Dallas in June 2023, where the cast were promoting the 40th anniversary of the Film’s release.
Trivia: John Hughes‘ script was inspired by an equally ill-fated family trip to Disneyland when he was five years old, which was what his National Lampoon Magazine article “Vacation ’58” was about.

Dust off that velvet suit, making sure those lapels are of regulation width (hint, anything under 12″ not accepted). Polish the platform shoes and make sure the mullet is brushed…the 70’s are back with a vengeance…“Never Too Young To Rock”. Featuring a string of ‘top’ bands from the ‘Glam-Rock’ decade; Mud, the Rubettes, Glitter Band, Scott Fitzgerald, Whoopee Band, Slick add Sally James a sexy music journalist (best remembered as Chris Tarrant’s co-compere in the cult kids TV show TISWAS) and you have a mountain of fun & nostalgia for those of a certain age. With some colourful, dynamic artwork it really epitomises the time and is a very ‘FUN’ poster. This original 1976 UK quad film poster is presented in excellent original unrestored, folded (as issued) condition that displays to fine effect; colours are deep and unfaded with some great glam 70’s imagery. A rare example that hardly ever turns up for sale in this high grade condition and represents a fantastic piece of very collectable and desirable original movie memorabilia from the decade of Glam-Rock.

“Oh! What a Lovely War” was Richard Attenborough’ Directorial debut in 1969 and also resulted in a highly patriotic film poster with a Union Jack design and as Sim Branagan states in his 2006 book “British Film Posters” – “A clever and appealing spoof of the classic Kitchener call-up poster”. With initial design by John Billingham and finished artwork by Brian Sanders each section of the Union Jack flag feature a scene from the movie and include General Haig (John Mills) playing leap frog and Brighton Pier with the colours red, white and blue are enhanced with Khaki, lilac and different shades of blue, red & green. An exceptional and eye-catching looking film poster with superbly detailed imagery, this really is a beautifully designed stand out poster and is becoming increasingly hard to find. Originally folded (as issued) this 1969 UK quad film poster displays superbly with vibrant unfaded colour tones. This excellent unrestored example presents to very good effect and represents an fine piece of collectable original British film memorabilia.

Truly one of the greatest gangster films ever made Sergio Leone’s Once Upon A Time In America. An epic, episodic, tale of the lives of a small group of New York City Jewish gangsters spanning over 40 years and thankfully it has a movie poster to match it. This original 1984 US one-sheet features beautiful atmospheric design with a fantastic image of the Brooklyn Bridge and sepia colours that are a perfect complement to Leone’s film. Originally folded (as issued) this rare example is presented in beautiful unrestored condition; it presents and displays to excellent effect and represents an impressive example of very collectable original movie memorabilia from a multi award winning film and one of cinema’s leading directors.
Trivia: Sergio Leone had refused the offer to direct The Godfather (1972), an opportunity he deeply regretted. This may have partly inspired him to try a gangster film. Leone has also notably used the flashback technique pioneered in The Godfather: Part II (1974).

An incredibly rare find, a 2023 Park Circus UK quad film poster for Michael Powell’s disturbing 1960 voyeuristic thriller “Peeping Tom”. One of the most distinctive and best redesigned of any posters from the genre and rightly regarded as a British classic and highly sought after by collectors. “Peeping Tom” was not a great commercial success at the time of its release, and was largely over shadowed by Hitchcock’s “Psycho” and often treated as a film ‘way ahead of its time’ with filmgoers reluctant to see it due to Powell’s controversial content. The originally rolled (as issued), unrestored example offered here has minimal handling and displays & presents to excellent effect with beautiful colour tones and dramatic imagery. Incredibly scarce, as it received a very limited release and was only shown in a handful of ‘Park Circus’ affiliated cinemas. A must have title for the serious collector or fan it represents a fantastic item of good looking collectible movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The critical mauling and public outcry about the film resulted in it being pulled from British cinemas after just five days.

One of the best films of the 1980’s and certainly one of Schwarzenegger’s finest roles, “Predator“ is a film I’ve seen more times than I care to remember. Directed by John McTiernan, who would go on to helm “Die Hard” the following year (arguably the greatest action movie ever made), the film is an excellent mix of gung-ho action and sci-fi horror with a truly iconic monster (designed by Stan Winston). The rare and original UK quad film poster offered here is from first year of release 1987 and was created by a team at the FEREF design agency, including Stephen Laws, Frank Hillary and acclaimed movie poster artist Brian Bysouth. This was one of the first film posters by the artist to have been created with photo composition and not painted, as had been the case with his previous posters. This ‘thermal imaging’ version has a great action image of Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and is considered a classic amongst collectors of the genre. Originally folded (as issued – the fold lines are soft from being stored flat for a number of years) this beautiful unrestored example displays and presents to excellent effect. Sought after and extremely hard to find in this high grade condition it represents a fine piece of collectable original movie memorabilia.
