Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s is a truly heart warming cinematic experience, with the casting of Audrey Tautou as the titular Amelie or to give its full title Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amelie Poulain a masterstroke. So it’s no surprise to see her featured so prominently on the movie posters that accompanied the release in 2001. The UK quad from this first year of release was originally rolled and displays superbly – it really is a beautiful, character focused film poster that represents a fine item of cinematic movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The main colors in the film (green, yellow and red) are inspired by the paintings of the Brazilian artist Juarez Machado.

Artist Javi Aznarez has created the definitive visual tribute to celebrate its 25th anniversary for the UK theatrical re-release. Commissioned by Curzon Film, Javi’s poster is an intricate, hand-drawn map of Montmartre that captures the whimsical soul of the 2001 classic. The poster serves as a meticulous “Ligne Claire” tapestry, weaving together the film’s many subplots and eccentricities into a singular, cohesive artwork. Javi’s focus on the fine details mirrors the film’s own obsession with life’s small treasures:
The Roster of Characters: From the patrons of the Café des Deux Moulins to the quiet intensity of Nino, every face is a character study in itself.
The Iconography: The traveling garden gnome, the photo booth reconstructions, and the warm, red-hued interiors of Amélie’s apartment are all present.
The Settings: The winding streets and hidden corners of Paris are brought to life through Javi’s signature hand-drawn Ligne Claire style.
.In a digital age, Javi’s work stands out for its craftsmanship and conceptual wit. By eschewing standard photographic layouts for a dense, illustrative narrative, he honours the artisanal spirit that made Amélie a global phenomenon.
Incredibly scarce as it was exclusive to Curzon cinemas, the UK quad offered here is presented in near perfect condition and represents one of the best looking film posters currently available and a future classic for collectors and fans of the movie – a visual delight.

Iñárritu not only directed, co-wrote and produced the multi award winning 2014 movie “BiRDMAN” (or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) but he also took a keen interest in the overall marketing campaign and promotion of the film. Fox Searchlight partnered with highbrow blog Badass Digest to present a series of stylish minimalist posters that depict Birdman–the hero that Michael Keaton’s character is famous for portraying in the film–posed alongside world famous landmarks. with the idea that Birdman is heroically protecting everyone across the globe. Offered here is Mark W. Carroll’s artwork showing Birdman in London, England, atop the Houses of Parliament with the silhouette of Big Ben an eye-catching backdrop. Presented in excellent original rolled (as issued) condition this superb example represents a highly desirable and collectable item of original film movie memorabilia for one of Hollywood’s best regarded and talented emerging young directors; Alejandro G. A superb and eye-catching alternative movie poster by Enzo Sciotti for the cult dark horror adaptation of the best selling Anne Rice novel “Interview with the Vampire”. Each vampire Lestat (Cruise), Louis (Pitt), Armand (Banderas) and the young Claudia (Kirsten Dunst) is beautifully portrayed by Sciotti on this 2020 Hand-Numbered (# 16/45) Private Commission Screen Print. Printed using eighteen (18) coloured inks onto Neenah Stardream Eris Metallic Paper, the colours truly pop from the paper (the photo doesn’t do this justice) it almost appears to be painted. Presented in rolled (as issued) condition it represents an outstanding, piece of cinematic memorabilia and artwork.
Trivia: Upon learning that Tom Cruise had been cast as Lestat, Rice was livid and stated Cruise could not carry the part, calling the casting “so bizarre; it’s almost impossible to imagine how it’s going to work”. Rice recused herself from the production and did not view the film until a producer sent her a VHS copy. Rice was so impressed by Cruise’s performance that she wrote him a letter of apology and recorded a two-minute video endorsing the film that was included as a pre-feature on mid-1990s VHS releases.

“The morning after was just the beginning…”
A very scarce movie poster…30th Anniversary BFI re-release British UK quad for Mathieu Kassovitz’ French black & white urban drama “La Haine” (The Hate). This is an Original UK Quad Poster printed in 2025 to mark the 30th anniversary re-release of the film. The story revolves around riots on the streets of Paris which explode after a young man is tortured by police, making the film as relevant now as it was 30 years ago. The poster features the films central characters Vinz (Vincent Cassel), Said (Saïd Taghmaoui) and Hubert (Hubert Koundé). Kassovitz’ film won multiple awards on its release including Best Director at Cannes and Best Film at the ‘Cesars’ (the French Oscars). Filmed in gritty black & white and shown in a very limited number of BFI ‘art-house’ cinemas with a low key advertising campaign the UK film poster that accompanied the release is truly scarce. This originally rolled (as issued) example is in excellent unrestored condition that presents & displays superbly…This is a fine piece of rare and highly collectible original film movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The film was originally filmed in color but changed to b/w in post-production by Kassovitz himself. A color re-release was planned in case the original release flopped.

An original country of origin British UK quad film poster from the original year of release 1973 for Fred Zinnemann’s terrorist thriller “The Day of the Jackal”. The movie is based on the best-selling novel by Frederick Forsyth which sees a lone sniper tasked with the assassination of French President Charles De Gaulle and it it this the image of Charles De Gaulle reflected in the assassins eye (Edward Fox as the titular Jackal) that provides some remarkable pencil drawn imagery in Michael Leonard’s impressive artwork featured on the UK quad movie poster; a very cleverly designed piece. Originally folded (as issued) it displays and presents to very good effect. A marvellous looking poster that certainly impresses and is scarce in this unrestored condition. A hugely collectable and sought after film poster that represents a fine example of original British movie memorabilia.
Trivia: A so-called “explosive bullet” does not contain any explosive material. It is drilled through the center, a drop of mercury is put inside, and the tip of the bullet sealed. When the bullet hits an object the mercury maintains its velocity, flying through the drilled channel and impacting the tip of the bullet from the inside. This causes the bullet to fragment.
