The influence of John Badham’s “Saturday Night Fever” cannot be understated. A cultural phenomenon that pretty much affected everyone at some point…music, dancing, fashion, attitudes & John Travolta; perfectly cast as the local walking cliche Tony Manero. And it’s Travolta in the iconic white suite that dominates the familiar movie poster imagery. Well, all that’s missing in this outstanding Czech poster by Zdenek Ziegler is the white suit – Travolta is instantly recognisable surrounded by an array of disco lights. Rolled (as issued) it displays and presents in excellent high grade condition and represents a fantastic looking original movie poster with an eye-catching design…“Catch it !”
Trivia: John Travolta used two suits in the climax of the film; he had to switch suits between takes because one would become heavily soaked with sweat and had to be dried while he was wearing the other one for subsequent takes.

Award winning film poster design courtesy of BLT Communications. The poster campaign artwork for Martin Scorsese’s 2008 ‘Rolling Stones’ documentary “Shine A Light” is outstanding. Live action black and white imagery of the band is the major feature of great looking poster. An highly entertaining and engrossing music documentary film for one of the greatest and most influential rock bands of all time. Showing in only a handful of independent and art-house cinemas the advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited cinema release is truly scarce. This originally rolled (as issued) example displays to excellent effect and certainly looks impressive and represents a fantastic item of original collectable music and movie memorabilia.
Trivia: As Keith Richards sings “You Got the Silver”, he wears a trench-coat with a pirate pin on the collar. This is a gift from working on “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (2007).”

Dig out those flares (anything under 15″ are not acceptable) & platform shoes…Not just responsible for one of the greatest Christmas songs ever but in 1975 Glam Rock band Slade starred in their own imaginatively titled big screen movie…SLADE IN FLAME ! Described as ‘the Citizen Kane of British pop movies’ by critic Mark Kermode, Slade in Flame both confounded and delighted audiences when it was released in 1975, at the height of the legendary glam-rock band’s success, starring the band themselves, this was a music film like no other. Charting the rise and fall of a pop group at the end of the 1960s, this darkly cynical, warts-and-all portrait of a band in freefall amidst the music-industry suits who want a piece of the pie was not what anybody was expecting. And now for the 50th Anniversary, Slade in Flame has been newly remastered by the BFI from the best available 35mm materials and re-released for a very limited cinematic outing. This original 2025 UK quad film poster to accompany the release is presented in excellent original rolled (as issued) condition that displays beautifully; the black background enhances the image of the group, who appear (due to some clever lighting) translucent, giving an almost 3D effect. The extremely limited release means these posters are very scarce and represent a fantastic piece of highly collectable and desirable original movie and music memorabilia.

“To Cut a Long Story Short”…It’s not many films that get a a London premiere at the Royal Albert Hall, but then it’s not every film that tells the story of meteoric rise, fall and ultimate reunion of new romantic pop sensations, Spandau Ballet. The advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited cinema release is truly scarce. It really is a great snap shot of the 80’s image of the band from their first visit to New York. Originally rolled this incredibly rare example displays as new. Never commercially available the posters for this release are unbelievably scarce…fantastic item of Spandau Ballet / New Romantics / film / cultural memorabilia presented in investment grade condition !

An incredible looking movie poster full of glitter and glamour, designed by the creative advertising agency A&E Networks, with colourful imagery perfectly in keeping with the subject matter (the most famous and talked about nightclub of the 1970s and 80s) for Matt Tyrnauer’s “Studio 54”. A cultural and social phenomenon that pretty much affected everyone involved or who frequented the establishment…music, dancing, fashion, attitudes, celebrity and fame. Made with the unique insight of former owner Ian Schrager it’s a fascinating study on why Studio 54 drew many people and celebrities to its unconventional parties and gatherings. Drugs, alcohol and sex of all kinds inhabited the place which made it all the more notorious and controversial. The stunning UK quad that accompanied the 2018 release is presented in high grade rolled (as issued) condition that display and presents to excellent effect. A genuinely scarce and hard to find example of cinema memorabilia that looks amazing.

“SUZI Q” is Liam Firmager’s ‘rockumentary’ of trailblazing American rock singer-songwriter Suzi Quatro, who helped redefine the role of women in rock ‘n’ roll when she broke out in 1973 selling over 50 million records on the way. The original UK quad film poster to accompany the release features the ‘Devil-Gate Drive’ rocker in all her glam-glory with a striking retro image. The advertising campaign for the movie was very low key and the UK film posters that accompanied the extremely limited cinema release are truly scarce. Quite honestly some of the finest poster artwork I have seen on a ‘modern’ poster. In these days of digital design it’s a pleasure to see and handle such a beautiful item. Designed by Jonny Halifax for Julien Temple’s film ‘The Ecstasy Of Wilko Johnson’, and winner of the SXSW 2015 Excellence in Poster Design Special Jury Recognition Award this is a special and very rare film poster. After the film’s cinematic premiere held in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust in London at the Picturehouse on Shaftesbury Avenue on 17th July 2015 it was only screened in a very limited number of select ‘art-house’ cinemas making any paper from the release exceptionally scarce and sought after with the artist himself releasing limited edition prints of the artwork which immediately sold out and have become collectors items in their own right. The poster offered here is a genuine UK quad film poster from the initial 2015 release, not a copy. Printed on heavy stock paper with a four colour silk screen print finish this originally rolled example displays superbly…An incredibly rare and collectable piece of music/film memorabilia.

“The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” is most certainly an unusual film. It’s something of a collage of colorful imagery, fragmented shots, quirky music, strange characters, bizarre situations, and amusing montages. But if you had seen Wes Anderson’s previous films, you would expect nothing less.“The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” was a cult success on its release with Anderson’s loyal fanbase hailing another solid cinematic offering. Only having a very limited run and showing in a small number of (largely ‘art-house’ or ‘independent’) cinemas any paper from the Film is scarce and in very short supply, making this originally rolled (as issued) one-sheet from 2004 a really great find. Designed by award winning creative arts agency BLT Communications LLC this looks and displays to excellent effect and represents an extremely hard yo find, modern original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly talented writer / director.
Trivia: The red woolen caps worn by the characters are a reference to Jacques-Yves Cousteau, famed underwater film-maker and co-inventor of the modern aqualung.

“Get ready for the experience of a lifetime”…If you know your your EDM from your EDC then this original 2014 US one sheet movie poster for Insomniac Events “Under the Electric Sky” is for you. Designed by creative agency P & A it is one of the most eye-popping colourful electro-pop posters I have ever seen, it bleeds colour and looks incredible; a real tribute to some of the best psychEDeliC posters of the late 60’s. Never having a full cinema release in the UK (only available on Netflix) these US one sheet posters are scarce & have become highly collectable. Originally rolled this incredibly rare example displays as new…a fantastic collectable item of EDC music/ film / cultural memorabilia presented in investment grade condition !

Released on Netflix in July 2023 “WHAM!” is one the channel’s most streamed programmes, documenting (largely through the scrap book diaries kept by Andrew Ridgeley’s Mum) the effervescent rise of the happy go lucky pop duo and the emergence of George into a global solo singer/song-writer superstar. Prior to the film’s Netflix release it was screened for one-night only on June 27th in only a small number of select cinemas throughout the UK. The poster (a UK quad) used to accompany and promote this release features the imagery of photographer Chris Craymer. His photograph perfectly captures the charm, bubbliness, friendship and true happiness of the duo as they were starting out on their musical journey. Incredibly rare, due to the very limited number of cinemas showing the movie, this originally rolled (as issued) example displays superbly and represents a fantastic and hugely collectable item of music and movie memorabilia.

“What do you know about make-up? You’re Just a Girl.”
Undoubtedly, one of the great concert footage films; David Bowie in “Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars” . The historic farewell performance of the king of glam rock; directed by D.A. Pennebaker and featuring the award winning British musician David Bowie under his ‘Ziggy’ persona with his group The Spiders from Mars – Mick Ronson, Trevor Bolder and Mick Woodmansey – performing at the Hammersmith Odeon in London on 3rd July 1973. This original Japanese B1 (equivalent to a one-sheet) is a truly great find with imagery unique to this very limited re-release (only happened in Japan) in 2022. Presented in near perfect unrestored, rolled (as issued) condition the imagery features a fantastic, rarely seen close up of Bowie in Ziggy persona – stunning, really doing justice to the iconic musician. Incredibly scarce with a very low print run this really is an exciting item of rock / movie collectible from one of the most influential icons of modern pop culture…David Bowie.
