Perhaps one of the most defining images in cinematic history and certainly up there with Karloff’s Frankenstein monster as the most memorable of the horror genre – Linda Blair as the possessed Regan. This alternative movie poster by horror artist supreme, Graham Humphreys for William Friedkin’s Oscar winning horror masterpiece “The Exorcist” is a striking example of horror artwork, featuring some incredible characterisations and an amazing colour palette – from orange to sickly green/grey. The limited edition fine art print Offered here has been signed by Humphreys and hand-numbered #9 from a print run of only 59. Hugely oversubscribed, this scarce print was sold out prior to release and presents and displays to excellent effect. Originally flat and folded (as issued) this beautiful example represents a hard to find piece of cinematic horror memorabilia for this much revered and hugely influential Oscar winning horror movie.
Trivia: When Regan projectile vomits at Father Karras, the vomit was intended to hit Jason Miller in the chest, but the plastic tubing misfired, hitting him in the face. His reaction of shock and disgust while wiping away the vomit is genuine, and Miller admitted in interviews that he was very angered by this mistake.

“The students at Herrington High always suspected their teachers were from another planet… they were right!”
A great looking ‘cast’ character poster for Robert Rodriguez’ 1998, sci-fi horror hit “The Faculty”. Described as a cross between the Breakfast Club and Invasion of the Body Snatchers it’s up there as one of the best popcorn movies of the genre – superb fun with top notch special effects and a tight script. But then you wouldn’t expect anything else from the director who bought you Planet Terror and From Dusk Till Dawn and the writer of the first two (and best) Scream movies. A nice and very collectable item of original movie memorabilia. Offered rolled (as issued) this original first year of release UK Quad displays and presents to excellent effect with a great creepy cast image perfectly suited the vibe of the movie.
Trivia: At the start of the movie, Coach Willis (Robert Patrick) is seen standing at the end of a long hall, then begins running down the hall in pursuit of Principal Drake (Bebe Neuwirth). The way he runs, and the way the scene is shot (cutting back and forth between Willis running and Drake trying to open the door) mirrors a similar scene in Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), when the T-1000–also played by Patrick–is chasing the Connors and the T-800 down a long hall while they wait for an elevator to open.

“Bolt Your Doors. Lock Your Windows. There’s something in The Fog !”
After the huge success of Halloween John Carpenter quickly followed up with the equally creepy horror The Fog. Taking creepy imagery from the movie the US one-sheet features silhouetted zombie pirates in a ‘fog’ filed room. The original movie poster offered here is from first year of release, 1980 and displays to excellent effect. Originally folded (as issued) it is presented in unrestored condition with only minimal handling wear. Great horror imagery on a genuinely rare cult classic from the Carpenter archives that represents extremely desirable and collectable movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Although this was essentially a low budget independent movie, John Carpenter chose to shoot the movie in anamorphic widescreen Panavision. This decision gave the movie a grander feel for the viewer so this didn’t seem like a low budget horror movie.

“Bolt Your Doors. Lock Your Windows. There’s something in The Fog !”
After the huge success of “Halloween” John Carpenter quickly followed up with the equally memorable horror “The Fog” – a guilty pleasure film of mine as I love how well Carpenter develops the tension and tells the story with great cinematography, sound, and use of locations. Carpenter always a well regarded and popular film maker has enjoyed a huge renaissance in more recent years so it was no surprise that this title was one of four seminal movies by the director re-released by Studio Canal in 2018, remastered in 4K, with the others being “They Live”, “Escape From New York” and “Prince of Darkness”. All four movies had a strictly limited cinematic release and were accompanied a newly designed poster campaign (quads and one-sheets) by leading artist Matt Ferguson. Ferguson’s unique artistic style is evident throughout the four, each with its very own unique colour palette. A number of these full-size 30″ x 40″ UK quad styles were also released as a limited edition art print by Vice Press. Identical to the cinematic quad, in fact exactly the same – same paper, printer etc these were issued as timed releases each signed and hand-numbered by Matt Ferguson. Offered here is one of these signed art prints numbered #48 from a print run of only 224. Originally rolled (as issued) it presents in excellent condition. A cool, cult poster that represents very collectable & desirable original film memorabilia from one of the greatest and most influential director’s who is still actively working in the film industry.

“She Loved Men… To Death.”
A glorious looking film poster full of colour, designed by Fred Davis with beautiful finished artwork of the ‘love witch’ Samantha Robinson by the extremely talented illustrator Michael Koelsch. Anna Biller’s dark horror comedy was very well received, critically & commercially on its 2016 release and is regarded as a classy ‘modern’ homage to the cheesy ‘B’ movie horror films that prospered during the 1970’s. This country of origin US one-sheet movie poster is from first year of release 2016 and hugely sought after by the film’s hardcore and loyal fan base and horror fans alike. Having a a very limited release, primarily in a small number of ‘art-house’ & ‘specialist’ cinemas combined with a low key advertising campaign the movie poster that accompanied the release is truly scarce. Originally rolled (as issued) this superb unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect & represents a really exceptional piece of original ‘cult’ film movie memorabilia.

Designed by Tom Jung this advance teaser for Richard Donner’s 1976 horror classic “The Omen” is a stunning example of horror art. The ominous wording YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED and the film’s title (the 666 featured in the O of OMEN is a great touch) are prominent when placed upon the deep black background with Damien illustrated in silhouette with his shadow depicted as that of a jackal. It’s such a simple design but so, so clever and perfectly suited to the portrait format offered here. From first year of release, 1976 this US one sheet presents to excellent effect, benefitting from conservation linen backing, with the original fold lines touched in to give a rolled impression. A personal favourite and an impressive item of original cinematic movie memorabilia from one of the defining horror movie’s of the genre.

The film is famous for its grisly deaths, and many of those are highlighted here – Father Brennan (Patrick Troughton) speared through in the churchyard and the journalist Jennings (David Warner) decapitated by a sheet of plate glass. If you didn’t want to know too much about the plot then you would have been well advised to avoid this particular poster in 1976. This originally folded (as issued) Japanese B2 presents very well. With artwork by Timothy Pittides this limited edition alternative movie poster for Richard Donner’s 1976 horror classic “The Omen” is an impressive example of horror art that truly evokes the mystique and symbolism surrounding the movie with the artist having this to say about the commission – “When Rob Jones first approached me about THE OMEN, my brain went in a million different directions. Any time I consider a licensed property, my first thought is ‘How do I do this in a way that is unique in concept, and to me? The film is littered with memorable visuals, many of which propel it beyond its genre, and into the realm of pop culture consciousness. Ultimately, rather than recreating a literal scene, I wanted to portray something that occurs outside the frames of the film. Something sinister in nature with a hint of macabre beauty: Damien’s entrance into our world. This idea felt as natural as it did disturbing. Inking this beast of an image took close to 175 hours, and includes 55 colour layers done by hand. The artwork was rendered larger than I normally do to make sure all the dotwork stayed within correct proportions when elevated to poster size. It was tedious, but well worth it in the end”. From 2020 this hand-numbered example is #2 from a print run of only 100 and is presented rolled, flat and unfolded (as issued) and displays to excellent effect. It really is an incredible poster with some outstanding horror artwork by Graham Humphreys. It presents to excellent effect and is a must have Hammer Horror collectable.
Trivia: The decision to drop the “e” from the title The Quatermass Xperiment was a deliberate and strategic choice by Hammer Films. When the film was released in 1955, the British Board of Film Censors had recently introduced the ‘X’ certificate, restricting admission to those aged 16 and over. Hammer sought to highlight the film’s mature themes and unsettling content by integrating the letter ‘X’ directly into the title. This subtle yet effective alteration served not only as a marketing tool but also as a signal to audiences that this was a bold and provocative work—one that pushed the boundaries of what was typically shown in British science fiction cinema at the time.

Immediately recognisable as ‘Rocky Horror’ and hugely sought after by the film’s hardcore and loyal worldwide fan base. Originally rolled (as issued) this superb example presents and displays to excellent effect & represents a really fine and affordable item of original film movie memorabilia.
