“West Side Story” was one of the greatest musical movies ever to come out of the 1960’s and Steven Spielberg with this 2021 remake has paid more than an enjoyable homage to the original. The silhouette image featured here on this Advance ‘Coming Soon’ US one sheet is a striking and clever design by advertising agency BLT Communications. Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect with only minimal handling wear and represents a hugely collectable piece of cinematic movie memorabilia.
Trivia: With this film, Steven Spielberg becomes the first person to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director over six consecutive decades.

“Through archival interviews and footage, George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley relive the arc of their Wham career, from ’70s best buds to ’80s pop icons.”
Released on Netflix in July 2023 “WHAM!” is one the channel’s most streamed programmes, documenting (largely through the scrap book diaries kept by Andrew Ridgeley’s Mum) the effervescent rise of the happy go lucky pop duo and the emergence of George into a global solo singer/song-writer superstar. Prior to the film’s Netflix release it was screened for one-night only on June 27th in only a small number of select cinemas throughout the UK. The poster (a UK quad) used to accompany and promote this release features the imagery of photographer Chris Craymer. His photograph perfectly captures the charm, bubbliness, friendship and true happiness of the duo as they were starting out on their musical journey. Incredibly rare, due to the very limited number of cinemas showing the movie, this originally rolled (as issued) example displays superbly and represents a fantastic and hugely collectable item of music and movie memorabilia.
Trivia: “Wham! was one of the most commercially successful pop acts of the 1980s They ended up selling more than 30 million certified records worldwide between 1982 to 1986.”

A superb and eye-catching alternative movie poster by Graham Humphreys’ for the cult dark comedy horror “What We Do in the Shadows”. Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement.created the clever idea of a family of vampires living together under the same roof and the struggles they encounter in modern day life. Each vampire housemate bears some resemblance to a past screen vampire – Nosferatu, David (Lost Boys), Dracula (Gary Oldman), Edward (Twilight zone) and Louis fromInterview With the Vampire. And it’s these five who feature on this 2015 Hand-Numbered (#AP 39/40) Artist Proof print that has also been signed by the artist – Graham Humphrey. Presented in excellent unrestored, rolled (as issued) condition with amazingly vibrant colour tones that truly pop from the paper (the photo doesn’t do this justice)it almost appears to be painted. A super-cool piece of cinematic memorabilia and artwork.
Trivia: The hill where the vampires have a run-in with the werewolves is the same hill filmed in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), where Frodo and the hobbits are running from the Black Rider and hiding under the roots of a tree.
