This original 1972 first release Japanese B2 film poster for Sam Peckinpah’s gritty thriller delivers the three “S’s” – Style, Substance & Steve McQueen and highlights a shotgun wielding McQueen. Printed on a heavier stock paper with a gloss finish this really is a striking and hard to find, Japanese poster. Totally original and unrestored this rolled (as issued) flat and unfolded example displays and presents to excellent effect and represents a scarce & sought item of authentic movie memorabilia from a popular Steve McQueen title that is often over looked from his impressive catalogue of roles.

Designed by creative arts agency GHAH Studios the 2020 US one-sheet film poster for Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Godfather (Part III) Coda – The Death of Michael Corleone” is a dramatic, atmospheric poster image featuring the remaining members of the Corleone dynasty – the aged Don Michael Corleone (Al Pacino), Vincent (Adam Garcia) the illegitimate son of Michael’s brother Sonny, Connie (Talia Shire) and Michael’s daughter Mary (Sofia Coppola). With dark, rich colour tones it is a perfect choice of design for Coppola’s final instalment of his hugely influential & Oscar winning trilogy. The double sided US one sheet offered here is presented in excellent unrestored, rolled (as issued) condition). It displays superbly and represents a fine piece of collectable original movie memorabilia for a much admired and hugely respected film franchise.
Trivia: Because of the popularity of the two earlier Godfather movies, Frank Sinatra reversed his anti-Godfather stance and expressed interest in playing Don Altobello. He lost interest because of the size of the paycheck for the role, and it went to Eli Wallach. Coincidentally, Sinatra got his role in From Here to Eternity (1953) when Wallach backed out due to scheduling conflicts with a Broadway play. Legend has it that Sinatra used mob ties to get Wallach’s part, which inspired the Johnny Fontane subplot in The Godfather (1972).

“From a barbed-wire camp to a barbed-wire country, they made…THE GREAT ESCAPE !”
A very rare find, these original release theatrical posters just don’t turn up and are incredibly scarce. One of the biggest films of all times certainly deserves a big poster and this original 1963 US Three-Sheet movie poster for John Sturges’ wartime adventure “The Great Escape” certainly impresses. Frank McCarthy’s ‘countdown’ artwork looks superb featuring Bartlett “Big X” (Richard Attenbrough), Hendley-“The Scrounger” (James Garner) and of course heading the group Hilts-“Cooler King” (Steve McQueen). The large format makes for a truly stunning piece that presents very well and represents a superb example of very rare collectable film memorabilia from one of the greatest film’s ever made and featuring a character and final scene that has become synonymous with screen legend Steve McQueen and is regarded as a much loved classic and one of McQueen’s signature roles.
Trivia: During the climactic motorcycle chase, director John Sturges allowed Steve McQueen to ride (in disguise) as one of the pursuing German soldiers, so that in the final sequence, through the magic of editing, he’s actually chasing himself. McQueen played the German motorcyclist who hits the wire.

A critical and commercial success and perhaps the best British movie (gangster or otherwise) ever made…John MacKenzie’s “The Long Good Friday”. Receiving a very limited release in UK cinemas (it was nearly never released due to financial problems & only saved as a cinematic production by George Harrison, with his Handmade Films stepping in at the 11th hour) meant that any paper is scarce, making this original 1980 UK quad film poster a rare find especially in such high grade condition. Featuring stark black & white country unique design & artwork, this excellent unrestored example presents near perfectly. Rolled (as issued) it represents an exceptional piece of collectable original film memorabilia from a true British gangster classic…“The Mafia? I’ve shit ’em”

On its release at the dawn of a new Millenia the Wachowski Brother’s ground breaking science fiction blockbuster “The Matrix” influenced everything from fashion, technology, how movies are made and introducing us to…Bullet-Time. This 2025 alternative movie poster by Pablo Olivera is an outstanding re-design that takes you to the heart of the matrix with its wealth of lore and symbology from the mega-hit, Pablo’s print is a thrilling look back at the film’s imagery and themes – “You take the blue pill – the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill – you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”. It is a fine art giclee print where the colours literally pop from the paper and one of best examples I have seen that uses this printing process – the colours, in this case neon pinks, purples and blues are incredibly rich giving a true hand painted effect. This Purple Variant edition has been Hand-Numbered #11/75 that represents a cool looking film poster from a “game-changing” movie. A true modern classic that displays superbly and is presented in excellent rolled condition.
Trivia: All scenes that take place within the Matrix have a green tint, as if watching them through a computer monitor. Scenes in the real world have a blue tint. Blue was also used at a minimum within the Matrix, since the directors thought blue was more of a real-world color (despite, ironically, blue being often the least-occurring color in nature). The fight scene between Morpheus and Neo, which is neither in the real world, nor in the Matrix, is tinted yellow.

A very COOL poster for a much loved action adventure fantasy romance. This original “The Princess Bride” movie poster has it all; amazing artwork by Steve Crisp for Hat ART Design, great detail & super colours. It is also very rare and one of the scarcest movie posters from the 80’s to find. The original UK quad movie poster offered here is from first year of release, 1987 and displays to excellent effect. Originally rolled (as issued) it is presented in beautiful near perfect unrestored condition and could truly be considered investment grade quality – it’s the best example of this poster I have ever offered for sale. By the time the movie was made about twelve years later, Schwarzenegger was such a big star they could not afford him. Andre was cast after all, and the two big men had gone on to become friends.

“Judge, Jury, and Executioner is what The Punisher is.”
“The Punisher” may be one of the darkest comic book characters ever created. This film and especially Thomas Jane, get that which makes this film is one of the better in the genre, because it sticks to the source better than most. By 2004 the cinema had already seen an influx of ‘big-budget’ super hero movies; X-Men, Spiderman, Hulk as well as a re-imagined Batman so a ‘new’ Punisher was a safe bet as the character of Frank Castle still one of the most popular creations and a corner stone of the ‘Marvel Universe’. Designed by creative arts agency Intralink Film Graphic Design this original 2004 UK quad film poster is typical of the character, dark & moody. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect with impressive artwork highlighting both The Punisher (Thomas Jane) & his protagonist Howard Saint (John Travolta). It represents a fine piece of collectible ‘comic book’ cinema movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Seeing as he had only one involvement with the creation of the original Punisher character; (changing the character from ‘The Assassin’ to ‘The Punisher’) this is one of the few movies based on a Marvel Comic in which Stan Lee does not appear.

“The Terrible Northmen…Sailing on Dragon Ships Like Serpents on the Sea! Shouting a Battle-Cry to Their Awesome God of War, Odin!”.
A personal favourite and up there for me with “Jason and the Argonauts” as one of the greatest (and most colourful) action, adventure movies of all-time, with both boasting a superb poster and hat statement is illustrated here with a magnificent, original 1958 UK Quad movie poster for Richard Fleischer’s “The Vikings”. Originally folded (as issued) this beautiful poster displays to very good effect with vibrant, deep, unfaded colours and fantastic imagery of the two stars Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis. Rarely available with this being the first time we have ever offered one for sale, it represents a fine example of cinematic movie memorabilia and one of the best looking and most collectable film posters from the genre.
Trivia: Stuntmen had practiced for weeks for the oar walking scenes. Kirk Douglas told director Richard Fleischer that he could do it and did several times. At one point when he did fall in the icy water he calmly swam over to the camera boat and asked if they had gotten good shots. He then swam back to the Viking longboat. Fleischer noted they were watching and filming an activity that had not been done in 1000 years.

This original They Live movie poster is probably the scarcest of all the John Carpenter paper from the series of four (Escape From New York, Prince of Darkness, The Fog & They Live) 2018 remastered re-releases and a very rare find in such excellent condition as offered here…The original 2018 Japanese B2 film poster for John Carpenter’s They Live was originally rolled (as issued) & presents in exceptional original unrestored condition with great detailed artwork (unique to the Japanese re-release, as the other posters produced for these releases all feature new re-imaging artwork by Matt Ferguson) & strong vibrant colours. John Carpenter’s tale of alien occupation “They Live” is part horror, part sci-fi and part social satire, all viewed through dark sun-glasses of Nada played by ex-professional wrestler Roddy Piper. Considered one of Carpenter’s best it was one of four seminal movies by the director re-released by Studio Canal in 2018, remastered in 4K, with the others being “Escape From New York”, “Prince of Darkness” and “The Fog”. All four movies had a strictly limited cinematic release and were accompanied a newly designed poster campaign (quads and one-sheets) by leading artist Matt Ferguson. Ferguson’s unique artistic style is evident throughout the four, each with its very own unique colour palette. A number of these full-size 30″ x 40″ UK quad styles were also released as a limited edition art print by Vice Press. Identical to the cinematic quad, in fact exactly the same – same paper, printer etc these were issued as timed releases each signed and hand-numbered by Matt Ferguson. Offered here is one of these signed art prints numbered #48 from a print run of only 216. Originally rolled (as issued) it presents in excellent condition. A cool, cult poster that represents very collectable & desirable original film memorabilia from one of the greatest and most influential director’s who is still actively working in the film industry.
Trivia: Artist Shepard Fairey credits the film as a major source of inspiration, sharing a similar logo to his “OBEY” campaign. “They Live was…the basis for my use of the word ‘obey’,” Fairey said. “The movie has a very strong message about the power of commercialism and the way that people are manipulated by advertising.”
