With artwork by Gary Pullin, this 2019 alternative movie poster for Wes Craven’s 1984 horror classic “A Nightmare on Elm Street” is an impressive example of horror art that also benefits from being signed by Freddy Krueger himself – ROBERT ENGLUND; a beautiful clear signature that includes his character name – FREDDY KRUEGER, written in a silver pen that contrasts incredibly strongly against the black background. It’s unusual to have a full character name with Englund most commonly signing only Freddy K. Signed at the Horrified event held in April 2025 (see photo of Robert signing the exact poster you are buying) this is an impressive item of cinematic horror movie memorabilia from one of the defining horror movie characters’ himself – ROBERT ENGLUND – FREDDY KRUEGER.
Trivia: Freddy Krueger was designed by Wes Craven to be the typical “silent” serial killer, such as Jason Voorhees or Michael Myers. However, in the sequels, Freddy developed a cheeky persona that enabled him to be the black-humored villain.

“NASA realized after the Apollo 11 mission had returned to Earth that they had no good pictures of the First Man on the Moon to show to the world. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin said later: ‘As the sequence of lunar operations evolved, Neil had the camera most of the time, and the majority of pictures taken on the Moon that include an astronaut are of me. It wasn’t until we were back on Earth and in the lunar receiving laboratory, looking over the pictures, that we realised there were few pictures of Neil. My fault, perhaps, but we had never simulated this in our training.’.”

Which was the perfect inspiration for Creative design agency LA pulling out all the stops when they issued the official theatrical posters for the Marvel Studios’ blockbuster “Avengers: Engame”. This original 2019 one-sheet movie poster for Marvel’s all action super hero romp is certainly impressive as all the heroes are beautifully realised; Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Captain Marvel, Rocket stand proud and battle ready in the portrait format of the one-sheet design. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks stunning and displays and presents to excellent effect. One of the best looking posters to date for any of the prolific Marvel Studios releases with spectacular detailed imagery and bright colours. A hugely important and collectable piece of movie memorabilia from the Studio that knows how to produce the ultimate blockbuster.

Designed by creative arts agency LA with photography by Michael Muller this originally rolled (as issued) example looks stunning and displays to superb effect, perfectly suited to this portrait format. With a retro feel and look, Captain Marvel AKA Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) looks truly heroic and takes centre stage in full costume as she strikes across the sky accompanied by a squadron of F-15 jet fighters. The character depicted is the cosmically powered super-heroine Carol Danvers sporting her red, white, and blue Earth uniform. This is a hand numbered regular edition of 1725 with this being #1008. Originally flat & unfolded (as issued) this superb example displays to impressive effect (honestly the photo does not do this justice…needs to be seen), perfectly suited to this portrait format. Captain Marvel AKA Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) looks truly cosmic and takes centre stage in a full on ‘power’ pose. Without doubt the most controversial film of its day, and that’s saying something when you consider it was released alongside “The Exorcist” and “Last Tango in Paris”. Often the subject matter for many up and coming artists looking to make a name for themselves in the up and coming Alternative Movie Poster market, this offering by Greg Ruth really is a cut above the rest. This 2019 release for Stanley Kubrick’s ultra-violent masterpiece “Clockwork Orange” is quite simply a stunning piece of artwork, with a strictly limited print run of only 150 this is numbered #11. This orange (naturally) coloured variant edition is a less is more style featuring Malcolm McDowell character Alex with the title cleverly incorporated into his signature bowler hat. The film still remains Kubrick’s most controversial work; quite a feat when one considers the range of topics the filmmaker explored across his remarkable career. This superb unrestored example is presented rolled (as issued) and displays to excellent effect. A superb addition to any collection and an incredibly scarce piece of modern film art and cultural memorabilia.
Trivia: The film was unavailable for public viewing in the UK from 1973 until 2000, the year after Stanley Kubrick‘s death. British video stores were so inundated with requests for the movie that some took to putting up signs that read: ‘No, we do not have A Clockwork Orange (1971).’

Although a relatively recent release any paper for Keanu Reeves’ John Wick franchise is extremely desirable. This incredibly popular film series is always complemented by an equally incredible series of movie posters and again the creative arts agency LA have not disappointed. Offered here is the 2019 Advance International/Thai one-sheet for “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” which features ultra-assasin John Wick with ‘dog’ in the lounge of The Continerntal. Dark & moody, it really is a great looking poster design and for me the best from the movie with the photo not really doming justice to what is a stunning item. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect with minimal handling wear; the dark shades of blues, purples and blacks are deep and unfaded. A scarce item of modern original collectable movie memorabilia from one of the best new action franchises in recent memory that looks very very cool !
Trivia: The title “Parabellum” comes from the Latin phrase: “Si vis pacem, para bellum” which means “If you want peace, prepare for war.” It is also an alternate name for the ubiquitous 9mm handgun cartridge (“9mm Parabellum”). The phrase itself appears twice in the movie: it is tattooed on the back of the ballerina girl in the beginning, and Winston (Ian McShane) says it out loud later in the movie.

Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect without a blemish of note and represents a hugely collectable and totally cool piece of movie memorabilia for one of popular culture’s most recognised villains.

A real statement piece and talking point – An ultra rare (this is the only one I have ever seen or offered for sale), large format US bus shelter size wilding poster that was solely used for advance publicity, being pasted on walls around town before the movie played. This is a true US release poster – note the R Ratings box and not one of the readily available Thai one-sheets, that (whether officially or unofficially) adopted this imagery.
