The characterisations are super realistic, layout and colours perfectly balanced and a near perfect example of a re-imagined poster. Released in 2023 as an exclusive Private Commission, this strictly limited Artist Proof edition is hand-numbered AP 1/5 and signed by the artist. Trivia: Jack Burton’s (Kurt Russell) tank top (white tank top with a Japanese Rising Sun and a Samurai) from Big Trouble in Little China (1986) can be seen hung up on the wall of the bar where the first segment of the film takes place. “The sleaze-filled saga of an exploitation double feature”
Original country of origin, American one sheet for the Quentin Tarantino/Rodriguez 2007 double bill “Grindhouse”. Featuring “Death Proof” and “Planet Terror”. With design input by Rodriguez’ own Troublemaker Studios (the antiqued look which made “Pulp Fiction” look so cool!) and finishing touches by BLT Communications LLC this really is a stunning eye-catching poster and one of the best from recent years. Originally rolled (although it looks folded) this presents superbly. Only initially released uncut as “Grindhouse” in a handful of countries these double bill posters are very rare. Visual impact and design are key aspects of any Tarantino/Rodriguez production and this beautiful example perfectly illustrates that fact…“Why not just carry a knife instead of a gun? .. You know what happens to mutha fuckers who carry knives? They get shot!”
Trivia: In the “Death Proof” segment, the tank top Kurt Russell wore in Big Trouble in Little China (1986) can be seen hanging on the wall of the Texas Chili Parlor.

The ‘Bride’ dressed as a bride for Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill” sequel, the imaginatively titled “Kill Bill: Volume 2”. Uma Thurman is not your normal bride though as she is expertly wielding a Katana sword. This is a stylish looking 2004 Japanese B2 film poster with artwork unique to Japan. The black background with bright pink dayglo lettering makes for an interesting combination that really works. Offered in original rolled (as issued) condition, this fine example presents to excellent effect with minimal of handling wear and represents a very cool and eye-catching piece of Quentin Tarantino movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The boots Uma Thurman has on when she is buried alive are the same boots that Michael Madsen used in Reservoir Dogs (1992) when he cut off the police officer’s ear. The same straight razor is also used.

Designed by creative agency BLT Communications with finished artwork by Steven Chorney this is truly a stunning and beautifully detailed poster with a nod to the vintage hand drawn artwork from movies Tarantino is so fond of. Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect without a blemish of note and represents a hugely collectable and totally cool piece of movie memorabilia from a truly iconic movie maker…“Hey! You’re Rick fucking Dalton, don’t you forget it.”

Trivia: Originally skeptical of the project, Sharon Tate’s sister Debra Tate gave the film and Margot’s portrayal of Sharon her blessing after Debra was embraced by Tarantino himself and became aware of how her sister would be represented within the film. Debra referred to Margot as a “dedicated craftsman,” and praised the actress’s research of Sharon prior to meeting with her.

Tarantino hired three classic poster artists (Steven Chorney, Martin Duhovic, and Renato Casaro, who Tarantino had to coax out of retirement) to create four great wilding posters that are ‘faux’ posters, designed to look like they were from a movie that the lead character (Rick Dalton) had made in the 1970s. This particular poster was designed by Renato Casaro for the faux western movie “Uccidimi Subito Ringo, disse il Gringo” and looks magnificent in this large format. Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect without a blemish of note and represents a hugely collectable and totally cool piece of movie memorabilia from a truly iconic movie maker… “Hey! You’re Rick fucking Dalton, don’t you forget it.”
