Mark Brooks’ alternative movie poster for one of the corner stone characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe “Captain America: The First Avenger” is an incredible, comic book cover style piece, which should really be no surprise as the Eisner nominated Brooks is a Marvel illustrator known for his imaginative and bold cover (and interior) art on titles such as X-Men Legacy, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers, Uncanny Avengers, Secret Avengers, and A+X. His most recent cover work is featured on Fearless Defenders, the new Marvel UK series, and Deadpool. Screen printed on to #100 Mohawk Cream textured art paper using eight (8) separate coloured inks the colours pop from the paper. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks stunning and displays to excellent effect. One of the best looking posters for any of the Marvel Studios’ releases it represents a fine piece of collectable modern cinema movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Originally cameo appearances were planned in the film for James “Logan” Howlett (Wolverine) and Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto), who were present during World War II (Logan was a soldier and Lehnsherr was in an internment camp). These cameos were scrapped due to rights issues.

An absolutely stunning piece of alternative movie poster art by Matt Taylor. This is a sold out screen print for the Marvel Studios release “Captain Marvel” released by Mondo in 2019. The character depicted is the cosmically powered super-heroine Carol Danvers sporting her red, white, and blue Earth uniform. This is a hand numbered regular edition of 1725 with this being #1008. Originally flat & unfolded (as issued) this superb example displays to impressive effect (honestly the photo does not do this justice…needs to be seen), perfectly suited to this portrait format. Cast style ‘final’ design British UK quad film poster for Jon Favreau’s 2008 super hero blockbuster “Iron Man”. A fantastic eye catching design by BLT Communications based upon the photographs of Michael Muller. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks stunning and displays to excellent and memorable effect. A truly dynamic and exciting poster for the inaugural cinema outing for one of the corner stone characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe…IRON MAN. One of the best looking posters to date for any of the Marvel Studios’ releases that represents a fine piece of collectable modern cinema movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Director Jon Favreau wanted Robert Downey, Jr. because he felt the actor’s past was right for the part. He commented: “The best and worst moments of Robert’s life have been in the public eye. He had to find an inner balance to overcome obstacles that went far beyond his career. That’s Tony Stark. Robert brings a depth that goes beyond a comic book character having trouble in high school, or can’t get the girl.” Favreau also felt Downey could make Stark “a likable asshole,” but also depict an authentic emotional journey once he won over the audience.

If you like your movie posters bold and impressive, then you will love this country of origin 2010 US one-sheet movie poster for Marvel Studios’ super hero sequel romp “Iron Man 2”. Full ‘Cast’ style featuring Iron Man, Tony Stark, War Machine, Don Cheadle, Black Widow & Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) plus the inimitable Mickey Rourke as the villain Ivan Danko, ‘Whiplash’. Designed by BLT Communications LLC this originally rolled (as issued) example looks stunning and displays to superb effect, perfectly suited to the portrait format of the one-sheet. Highly collectable as this was the first direct sequel (to the blockbuster “Iron Man”) and privately funded by Marvel Studios. Without the huge success of this movie and its predecessor there not now be a Marvel Universe in our cinemas…NO Avengers, Captain America, Shield, Hulk, Thor. A hugely influential and important modern film that represents a fantastic item of original movie memorabilia. If movie posters follow the trend of the comics, then ‘key’ and first appearances will become equally significant…this features the first appearances of Black Widow and War Machine.
Trivia: Scarlett Johansson dyed her hair red before she even got the part of Natasha Romanov, a.k.a. Black Widow, because she wanted the role so badly.

The blood red background silhouetting the infamous T-rex skeleton makes for the most iconic and instantly recognisable logo in cinema history. It can only be Steven Spielberg’s 1993 blockbuster “Jurassic Park”. Ground breaking and game changing are phrases banded around far to easily in this day of modern cinema but “Jurassic Park” truly deserves these accolades. A massive worldwide success on its release with merchandising and memorabilia hugely sought after with the logo style design being the most desirable. From first year of release 1993 this rolled (as issued) Advance ‘Summer 1993’ original, unrestored UK quad film poster displays and presents to excellent effect. The bright red logo and title which is printed , slightly embossed, using a spot varnish finish, truly pops against the matt black background. From an aesthetic point of view I have always preferred the landscape format of the quad, as feel it suits the design (and is much more impressive) than the portrait style of a one-sheet. A fine piece of original movie memorabilia that is hard to find in such high grade condition from the film that kickstarted the CGI phenomenon and made millions fall in love with a T-Rex.
Trivia: The novel was published in 1990. However, pre-production of the film began in 1989, using only Michael Crichton‘s manuscript. It was widely believed that the book would be such a hit that it would make an outstanding movie. It turns out that assumption was correct

The UK quad film poster offered here displays and presents to excellent effect. From an aesthetic point of view I have always preferred the landscape format of the quad, as feel it suits the design (and is much more impressive) than the portrait style of a one-sheet. A fine piece of original movie memorabilia from the film that kickstarted the CGI phenomenon and made millions fall in love with a T-Rex.
Trivia: In 2005, paleontologist Dr. Mary Schweitzer discovered red blood cells and soft tissue in the fossilized bones of a T. Rex, meaning dinosaur cloning may someday become a reality.

The ‘Bride’ dressed as a bride for Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill” sequel, the imaginatively titled “Kill Bill: Volume 2”. Uma Thurman is not your normal bride though as she is expertly wielding a Katana sword. This is a stylish looking 2004 Japanese B2 film poster with artwork unique to Japan. The black background with bright pink dayglo lettering makes for an interesting combination that really works. Offered in original rolled (as issued) condition, this fine example presents to excellent effect with minimal of handling wear and represents a very cool and eye-catching piece of Quentin Tarantino movie memorabilia.
