Trivia: The film was having trouble finding an American distributor when Trudie Styler called an acquaintance of hers – Tom Cruise. He attended a screening and loved the film. Matthew Vaughn later recalled, “It was hysterical. You had all these mid-level executives sitting there, and Cruise walked in. He saw them all sit up and pay attention, all getting on their phones, and suddenly all these senior executives joined the screening … At the end, Tom got up in front of everyone and said ‘This is the best movie I’ve seen in years, you guys would be fools not to buy it.’…”

Based upon an original 1927 design by Boris Bilinsky this stunning original UK quad for the Eureka / Masters of Cinema 2010 re-release for “Metropolis” is a visual treasure. Reconstructed and restored with an additional 25 minutes Fritz Lang’s sci fi classic is truly deserving the accolade of a cinematic masterpiece. Originally rolled this looks spectacular and displays to impressive effect. Due to a very limited cinematic release (a small number of ‘art-house’ theatres) these examples are extremely scarce and sought after and represent a fine item of very collectable film movie memorabilia.

For Duncan Jones’ 2009 science fiction masterpiece “MOON” Cardinal Communications have designed a most stylish and desirable movie poster for many a year. Truly stunning with exceptional design and graphics and due to the Film’s very low distribution (mainly to Independent or ‘art-house’ cinemas these posters are extremely scarce. This rolled (as issued) original UK Quad looks amazing and is presented in excellent condition and displays to fine effect.
Trivia: The film makes several references to Stanley Kubrick‘s 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968). GERTY looks and sounds similar to HAL 9000. They also have a similar dot: HAL’s is red and GERTY’s is blue. This film choreographs scenes in space to classical music, just as Kubrick did.

A bit of a cult classic (US remake of the Asian Horror hit “Kairo”) that is genuinely very rare. This originally rolled example featuring Kirsten Bell in a bit of a pickle displays very well.

“Oh Jesus Christ… I need a doctor, man… I can’t take it man, my arm, MY FUCKING ARM!”
Very scarce…An award winning film and an award winning poster campaign. Incredible artwork by NB Studio has produced one of the best looking film posters of recent years; a truly brilliant looking example of modern poster design for Darren Aronofsky’s intense drug addiction drama “Requiem for a Dream”. Aronofsky’s films have a tradition for outstanding poster designs (Black Swan, Pi, The Wrestler) and have become very desirable with a strong, loyal following. This rare original 2000 UK quad film poster is a great example of modern poster design and artwork; memorable imagery and bold use of colour (the blue used in the “eye” is really piercing)…Originally rolled (as issued) this beautiful example displays to excellent effect and represents a fine piece of original collectable film memorabilia.
Trivia: Darren Aronofsky shot the film like a hip-hop montage (a sequence of extremely short shots) to get the sense of overwhelming addiction and loss of control. An average 100-minute film contains 600 to 700 cuts; this one contains over 2,000.

“Get Ready For Rush Hour”
Designed by Dan Chapman this is an original 1994 UK Quad film poster for Jan De Bont’s exceedingly fast paced bomb on a bus actioner “Speed”. A true box-office blockbuster this movie quickly became an action classic spawning a sequal and acting as a template for many films since. In the same way “Die Hard” launched Bruce Willis as a credible action hero the same can be said of “Speed” and Keanu Reeves. This impressive, all-action film poster displays to excellent effect being originally rolled (as issued) with bright, unfaded colours and eye-catching imagery that represents a great piece of original cinematic movie memorabilia from the movie that launched the career of John Wick & Neo.
Trivia: The film was released one week before O.J. Simpson led Los Angeles police on a chase in a white Bronco after he was suspected of murder. After the Bronco chase, many audiences who saw the film in theaters noticed how closely scenes from the film resembled the real-life Bronco chase, including media coverage and aerial shots of Los Angeles freeways.

“The End Begins”…The first Advance poster in the Terminator: Salvation series was a tough act to follow and Midnight Oil Creative (what a cool name) did not disappoint when they stepped up to the plate with this equally fine example.
