“It’s Craaazy! … big top … big shoes … big teeth!!”
If you were looking for a film to define cult classic, and you don’t suffer from coulrophobia, look no further than the Chiodo Brothers’ 1988 sci-fi, comedy, horror “Killer Klowns From Outer Space”. From the incredible Tom Simpson artwork on the British Quad to the premise that a gang of aliens looking like grotesque, colourful circus clowns have come to Earth to terrorise and murder us by cocooning their victims in candy floss, it has everything a cult film fan could want. Regarded as one of the scarcest posters from the period and of the genre, this is a full size 30″ x 40″ (76 x 102 cm) from the very limited cinema release and not one of the smaller posters produced with the same artwork when it released on video in Great Britain. An incredibly hard film poster with very few printed with only an extremely small number to have survived. The U.S. one sheet with bland artwork is pretty scarce and finding this original English poster featuring Tom Simpson artwork is almost impossible.. especially in this excellent unrestored rolled (as issued) condition. It represents one of the funnest and coolest items of original cinematic movie memorabilia we have ever offered for sale…“In Space No One Can Eat Ice Cream!”
Trivia: The popcorn gun include a compressor inside that would fire real popcorn. It was the most expensive prop in the movie, costing $7,000 and taking six weeks to build.

One of the best and most acclaimed movie ever made, Federico Fellini’s “La Dolce Vita”. A stunning, duotone photographic film poster, featuring the titular ‘La Dolce Vita’ exclusive to the remastered BFI release of 2020 with imagery that is unique to Britain and only featured on this UK quad poster that features the iconic scene of Anita Ekberg ebulliently splashing her way into the centre of the Trevi Fountain in Rome. The example offered here is presented in excellent unrestored, rolled (as issued) condition. It displays beautifully. As a largely art-house and independent cinema release, posters for this limited time screening are extremely scarce and rarely comes to market. It represents a fine piece of collectable movie memorabilia for one of the big screen’s greatest & most influential films.
Trivia: The film contributed the term “paparazzo” to the language. The term derives from Marcello’s photographer friend Paparazzo. Federico Fellini took the name “Paparazzo”, as he explained in a later interview, from the name of someone he met in Calabria (Southern Italy) where Greek names are still common. “Paparazzi” is the plural.

“The morning after was just the beginning…”
A very scarce movie poster…30th Anniversary BFI re-release British UK quad for Mathieu Kassovitz’ French black & white urban drama “La Haine” (The Hate). This is an Original UK Quad Poster printed in 2025 to mark the 30th anniversary re-release of the film. The story revolves around riots on the streets of Paris which explode after a young man is tortured by police, making the film as relevant now as it was 30 years ago. The poster features the films central characters Vinz (Vincent Cassel), Said (Saïd Taghmaoui) and Hubert (Hubert Koundé). Kassovitz’ film won multiple awards on its release including Best Director at Cannes and Best Film at the ‘Cesars’ (the French Oscars). Filmed in gritty black & white and shown in a very limited number of BFI ‘art-house’ cinemas with a low key advertising campaign the UK film poster that accompanied the release is truly scarce. This originally rolled (as issued) example is in excellent unrestored condition that presents & displays superbly…This is a fine piece of rare and highly collectible original film movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The film was originally filmed in color but changed to b/w in post-production by Kassovitz himself. A color re-release was planned in case the original release flopped.

A terrifying eye-catching film poster for Ken Russell’s “Lair of the White Worm”. This original 1988 UK quad film poster is stunning; truly memorable horror imagery as we see a close up of snarling fanged snake-creature about to attack. Very in your face and not at all as understated and restrained (much like the legendary Director). With unique British, country of origin artwork this is an extremely desirable and very scarce poster. In excellent original, unrestored condition this folded (as issued) example displays to superb effect and represents an impressive item of original horror movie memorabilia from a cult British horror classic.
Trivia: The D’Ampton worm is an obvious reference to the Lambton worm, which is a real English legend, dating back at least to the mediaeval period.

“You know, it’s kinda like… Success is subjective, you know. It could be an opinion.”
“Last Days”, Gus Van Sant’s experimental film loosely inspired by Kurt Cobain’s, err, last days and the rock star that indie darling Michael Pitt satisfyingly embodies here. The original UK quad film poster to accompany the 2005 release was designed by the creative arts agency Shoolery Design and features a ‘grungey’ close up of Pitt. Like many ‘art-house’ and independent releases the advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited cinema release is truly scarce. Originally rolled this incredibly rare example displays to excellent effect and represents a highly sought after piece of collectible music/film/ memorabilia presented in superb condition.
Trivia: Gus Van Sant had originally intended to make a direct bio-pic of Kurt Cobain in the mid-1990’s but ran into legal obstruction from Cobain’s widow, Courtney Love. Undeterred, Van Sant met with Love to discuss some ideas for the film, as well as her possible involvement. Though the two actually became friends and discussed the film for years, Van Sant eventually realized that Love was too devastated by Cobain’s death to ever collaborate on the film or even allow a bio-pic to ever be made and adapted his ideas into this fictionalized story.

“Evil Beyond Exorcism”…A great horror poster from the late 1970’s for the much under rated occult thriller “The Legacy” This original UK quad film poster Richard Marquand’s 1978 release and really is a striking example of horror poster design and artwork that certainly remains in the memory. Very rare to find in such excellent original unrestored condition; the black background is a deep unfaded black whilst the imagery and lettering is bright and truly stands out. This scarce, folded (as issued) example displays and presents superbly and represents an extremely collectable piece of 1970’s British horror cinema memorabilia.

“A battle fought in the stars, now… comes to Earth.”
Twenty years before Transformers, Iron Man, Captain America and Thor came He-Man, Skeletor and the world of Eternia as the Mattel toys and cartoon series were magically transported to the big screen in Gary Goddard’s fantasy adventure “Masters of the Universe”. Boasting some of the finest fantasy art seen on a movie poster, this original 1987 UK quad by Jean Mascii, certainly impresses with He-Man himself (Dolph Lundgren) taking prominence as Skeletor (Frank Langella) is positioned menacingly over his shoulder. Presented in excellent original rolled (as issued) condition with strong vibrant colours it represents one of the best examples of collectable, cinematic movie memorabilia we have offered from the 1980s.
Trivia: Meg Foster said that she based her character on Shakespeare’s Lady Macbeth. In the film’s beginning, she is a pantomime villainess but obviously deeply in love with Skeletor. As the storyline progresses, she gradually comes to realise that he does not truly care for her. In the end, she abandons him to his fate, her withdrawal of her forces leads to his eventual defeat. In Foster’s opinion, the character progresses from evildoer to scorned woman to tragic heroine

“Robot Maria” is one the greatest and most iconic of all sci-fi images and beautifully showcased here on this stunning original UK fquad ilm poster movie poster for the 2017 90th Anniversary re-release of Fritz Lang’s hugely influential “Metropolis”. This restored sci fi classic is truly deserving the accolade of a cinematic masterpiece. Originally rolled this looks spectacular and displays near flawlessly, with the gold printing on the robot Maria appearing almost foil like. Due to a very limited release these examples are extremely scarce and sought after and presented in high grade investment quality condition. A classic and scarce original 2019 BFI 50th Anniversary 4K release British UK quad film poster for John Schlesinger’s multi Award winning “Midnight Cowboy”, still the only X-Rated movie to win an Oscar. It was nominated for seven and won three including Best Director for John Schlesinger which was an (then) unheard of return for an ‘X’ film. Beautiful distinctive character imagery; a great black & white character shot of ‘Ratso’ (Dustin Hoffman and ‘Joe’ (Jon Voight). Originally rolled (as issued) this example displays and presents to excellent effect with pure bright white background and crisp colour imagery. Showing in only a handful of independent and art-house cinemas the advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited cinema release is truly hard to find with this fine example representing an impressive item of collectable original cinematic memorabilia.
Trivia: Dustin Hoffman kept pebbles in his shoe to ensure his limp would be consistent from shot to shot.

An all-action sweeping vista of a film poster for Glen A. Larson’s sci-fi ‘epic’ “Mission Galactica: The Cylon Attack”. Receiving a full cinematic release in Europe & the UK (it was a edited together version of 3 TV shows released in the USA) largely cashing in on the still very popular ‘Star Wars’ phenomena. With some colourful, dynamic sci-fi artwork by Robert Tanenbaum (a homage to Tom Chantrell’s famous Style C art for ‘Star Wars’ perhaps ?) this original 1979 UK quad film poster is presented in excellent original unrestored, folded (as issued) condition that looks superb and displays to excellent effect with minimal age and handling wear; colours are deep and unfaded with some truly rip roaring imagery. This fine example represents a fantastic piece of very collectable and desirable original movie memorabilia for a much loved and hugely popular film and TV franchise.

“Naked Lunch” is cult Canadian director David Cronenberg‘s semi-adaptation of the celebrated American writer William S. Burroughs‘ novel of the same name. The book, which is a collection of vignettes with little in the way of connecting narrative, was written in 1959 and several attempts had been made over the years to try and adapt it for the screen. The structure of the book meant crafting a coherent plot was a tall order for any screenwriter, so Cronenberg decided to try a slightly different approach. The resultant film features scenes and characters from the vignettes but blends them with a semi-biographical look at the process Burroughs went through to write the original book, and includes incidents and characters (albeit renamed) from his experiences during the Beat Generation literary movement of the 1950s. This original 1991 UK quad poster features a unique to the British release design that includes a close-up photograph of Weller’s character William Lee above a centipede. With its distinctive, eye-catching imagery this rolled (as issued) example presents to superb effect, providing a high quality and scarce film poster from one of Cinema’s most revered cult directors.
Trivia: The shooting of the author’s wife is not a fictional incident. Source novelist William S. Burroughs did indeed accidentally shoot his wife Joan in the head in 1951 in Mexico in a “William Tell” stunt that went disastrously wrong. Mexican law at the time meant that Burroughs only served thirteen days in prison for killing his wife.
