With artwork by Gary Pullin, this 2019 alternative movie poster for Wes Craven’s 1984 horror classic “A Nightmare on Elm Street” is an impressive example of horror art that also benefits from being signed by Freddy Krueger himself – ROBERT ENGLUND; a beautiful clear signature that includes his character name – FREDDY KRUEGER, written in a silver pen that contrasts incredibly strongly against the black background. It’s unusual to have a full character name with Englund most commonly signing only Freddy K. Signed at the Horrified event held in April 2025 (see photo of Robert signing the exact poster you are buying) this is an impressive item of cinematic horror movie memorabilia from one of the defining horror movie characters’ himself – ROBERT ENGLUND – FREDDY KRUEGER.
Trivia: Freddy Krueger was designed by Wes Craven to be the typical “silent” serial killer, such as Jason Voorhees or Michael Myers. However, in the sequels, Freddy developed a cheeky persona that enabled him to be the black-humored villain.

Tim Burton was the perfect choice at the time to re-invent this major screen character & for me this is the definitive Batman movie. Posters for Burton’s “Batman” have always been hugely collectable since it was released in 1989 with the original marketing campaign basically just using the Batman logo. This has left a huge scope for artists since, to re-imagine and re-interpret their own unique take on the movie and character – making it perfect content for the alternative movie poster market. Batman (in all of his guises) is one of the most popular subjects for commissions – admittedly some better than others. Offered here is one of the better examples as Alberto Reyes presents his variant edition. Known as the Joker style or the Jokerized version it sees Jack Nicholson’s Joker in a clever spin from one of the key scenes from the film. Enigmatic and stylish, hand-numbered (#69/89) and signed by the artist, Alberto Reyes is truly impressive. Originally rolled (as issued) this displays to excellent effect and represents a superb Joker image from one of the defining Batman films.
Trivia: Jack Nicholson said of his role, “The thing I like about the Joker is that his sense of humor is completely tasteless.” He later said The Joker was one of his favorite roles he played.

Trivia: Michael Keaton, who calls himself a “logic freak”, was concerned that Batman’s secret identity would, in reality, be fairly easy to uncover, and discussed ideas with Tim Burton to better disguise the character, including the use of contact lenses. Ultimately, Keaton decided to perform Batman’s voice at a lower register than when he was portraying Bruce Wayne. This technique became a staple of future portrayals of Batman in film, television, and video games, especially those of Kevin Conroy and Christian Bale.

Long before Tim Burton re-invented him, Chris Chris Nolan re-imagined him and Ben Affleck played him as an older more mature Caped Crusader there was BATMAN 1960’s style, as the decade’s most popular TV show was bat-ransported to this alternative movie poster. “Batman ’66” by Mark Pagacz. A truly exciting poster with imagery that appears photographic, but is actually illustration. Pagacz’ dynamic and colourful artwork perfectly encapsulates the swinging 60’s vibe and light-hearted tone of the film. His design and layout is superb featuring all the iconic bat-villains – Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Catwoman with Batman & Robin (rightly so) taking centre stage. It is a WOW factor poster; Printed by in 2022 this limited edition art print is hand-numbered #50/215 that presents and displays near perfectly and represents a fantastic piece of collectable movie memorabilia. I am a huge Batman fan (all incarnations) and this is one of my favourite Batman posters.
Trivia: Originally planned as the pilot film for the Batman (1966) TV series, the movie was instead produced between the show’s first and second seasons. The producers took advantage of the larger budget to have a number of new Bat-gadgets constructed, such as the BatBoat.

Released by Vice Press and Bottleneck Gallery in 2020 this limited edition art print is hand-numbered #169/200 that presents and displays near perfectly and represents a fantastic piece of collectable movie memorabilia. I am a huge Batman fan (all incarnations) and this is one of my favourite Batman posters.
Trivia: The Batmobile was a customized 1955 Lincoln Futura, which had been used in It Started with a Kiss (1959). According to George Barris, five Batmobiles were made during the series.

Adapted from Philip K. Dick’s novel ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?’, Ridley Scott’s “Blade Runner” iconic dystopian classic is unquestionably one of the greatest sci-fi films ever made. So, it was no surprise a sequel was made, what was surprising was the follow-up never happened until 2017, thirty-five years after the original was released. Still, it’s fair to say the wait was worth it – “Blade Runner 2049” sees Harrison Ford reprise his role as Rick Deckard and a new Blade Runner is introduced, ‘K’ played by Ryan Gosling. And it’s Ryan Gosling’s ‘K’ who takes centre stage on this outstanding, 2025 limited edition screen print by Alfons Kiefer. It’s a visually beautiful movie perfectly orchestrated by director, Denis Villeneuve and the visual impact is certainly evident here with this hand-numbered #78/85 private commission. Printed on Fedrigoni Old Mill Stucco Premium White art paper using eleven (11) coloured inks and finished with a fluorescent UV Layer it looks absolutely stunning and it’s no surprise this sold out immediately when released. Rolled (as issued) this alternative movie poster displays and presents to excellent effect and represents an impressive piece of cinematic movie memorabilia for one of the most influential film series not just of the sci-fi genre but modern culture in general.
Trivia: The first letter of the names of each of the wooden animals that Rick Deckard carved in this movie: Rhino, Antelope, Cat, Horse, Elephant, Lion, spell “RACHEL”.

“In a world without justice, one man was chosen to protect the innocent.”
“The Crow” is an excellent tragic film made even more tragic by the real life tragedies surrounding the film (Brandon Lee’s death during filming, and the fact that the story is a result of James O’Barr’s personal loss of his fiancée). Based on a very dark comic book, the film has the same dark feel and that same dark feel is very much in evidence in this excellent alternative movie poster by Paul Mann. This hand-numbered (#79/150) Saniose variant printing really is superb with Mann perfectly capturing the character – in likeness and tone with the coloured inks, separated by Saniose an incredible finishing touch. This is an impressive screen print that has to be seen in person as the photographs really don’t do it justice. Originally rolled (as issued) this magnificent example represents a hugely collectable item of movie memorabilia from a truly iconic cult movie.
Trivia: Even though the movie, based on the comic, is called ‘The Crow’, none of the birds used in the film were actually crows. All of them were in fact ravens, which are much larger than crows and have a longer, more impressive beak.

Although a relatively recent release any paper for Nicolas Winding Refn’s 2011 violent car-themed actioner “DRIVE” is extremely scarce. His award winning film has been complemented by a series of alternative movie posters and in 2022 Mad Duck commissioned leading artist – Laurent Durieux to create his version. Durieux has produced an outstanding addition to the title, truly eye-catching and super stylish as he focuses on the inside of the Chevy Malibu, replacing the gearshift with a bloodied claw hammer (one of the key scenes from the movie). The deep, rich colours are predominantly blues and greys with ‘Ryan Gosling’ & ‘Drive’ printed in contrasting bright pink ink. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect with very minimal handling wear. An extremely scarce, selling out in near record time modern art print collectable item of movie memorabilia from a truly talented director that looks very very cool !
Trivia: In preparation for his role, Ryan Gosling restored the 1973 Chevy Malibu that his character uses in the film.

“Enter the Dragon” is rightly regarded as one of the key and most influential movie’s from the 1970’s, creating it’s own unique genre and provided the vehicle to launch Bruce Lee (albeit briefly) as a screen & cultural icon. Unsurprisingly, it is one of the most popular licences when looking to have artwork commissioned. This 2024 offering from Thai artist Kwow is one of the best of these. Kwow’s impressive artwork beautifully portrays the most memorable scenes from the film and is beautifully complemented by some amazing realistic likenesses of the main cast members, particularly Lee who takes prominence. This very limited release of only 100, has been hand-numbered #57 in pencil and is offered in beautiful rolled, unfolded (as issued) condition that displays and presents to excellent effect – colours are very vibrant and truly pop from the paper. A truly outstanding art print that represents a key item of highly sought after modern cinematic memorabilia and a fitting tribute to the martial arts legend BRUCE LEE.
TRIVIA: ENTER THE DRAGON due to its huge popularity was consistently re-released and shown after its 1973 debut yet no new standalone posters were ever printed & it was down to the cinema owners to re-use the posters from 1973. Making original unrestored 1973 posters of this quality extremely scarce.

“Scream as your nightmares come true”
Sam Raimi’s “The Evil Dead” is one of the best horror comedy movies ever made, full of dark humour and gory thrills. As most people know, this is one of the greatest performing films, dollar for dollar in cinematic history. One of the most popular film titles for alternative movie posters artists, this 2016 hand-numbered (#135/220) print by Francesco Francavilla is a standout piece and a proper horror poster as a chainsaw wielding Ash (Bruce Campbell) and the demonically possessed Cheryl (Ellen Sandweiss) dominate the blood red coloured imagery. This example has been autographed by the Movie’s acclaimed Director and Writer Sam Raimi and annotated ‘Scream! Scream!’ The signing was carried out in 2023 (June) at FanExpo, Philadelphia and is accompanied by an official JSA Certificate of Authenticity from the event numbered AK96625. Presented in excellent condition this rolled (as issued) example displays superbly that represents an impressive piece of signed horror artwork and is a hugely desirable alternative movie poster. “I know now that my wife has become host to a Kandarian demon. I fear that the only way to stop those possessed by the spirits of the book is through the act of… bodily dismemberment.”
Trivia: Over his years as a director, Raimi’s 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 (originally bought by Raimi’s father for the family when Sam was 14) has “played” Ash’s car in the Evil Dead movies, Uncle Ben and Aunt May’s car in the Spider-Man movies, Annie’s car in The Gift (2000), and Mrs. Ganoush’s car in Drag Me to Hell (2009), and has made cameos in nearly all of his other movies.

“Kiss Your Nerves Good-Bye…The Sequel To The Ultimate Experience In Grueling Terror !”

What makes this super special is that has been reimagined by the same artist responsible for the original cinema poster from from 1987 – Graham Humphreys. Printed with the approval of Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and Rob Tapert it’s a stunning piece of horror artwork, as a much more experienced, Graham Humphreys is given the chance to go back and recreate his original design from twenty-eight years earlier. The composition and subject matter are perfectly suited to this landscape format and the colours just amazing as they pop from the paper. This limited edition is hand-numbered #48/250 and signed by the Humphreys. Immediately selling out when launched, this originally rolled, flat-unfolded (as issued) example displays to exceptional effect and represents a truly outstanding and extremely desirable item of collectable horror movie memorabilia with a ‘modern’ twist.

Trivia: The large demonic head Ash battles in the climax of the film, which the crew nicknamed the “rotten applehead”, was too large and cumbersome for the crew to carry back to California, so it was left in North Carolina and soon disappeared. Its whereabouts were unknown for a number of years until it was found in a Halloween haunted house attraction just outside the original shooting location of Wadesboro, North Carolina.

“On Friday The 13th, They Began To Die Horribly, One……By One”
Distinctive Alex Ebel artwork makes this original 1980 country of original US one sheet movie poster for Sean S. Cunningham’s slasher masterpiece “Friday the 13th” extremely sought after by collector’s of the horror genre. Introducing Jason Voorhees as one of the triumvirate of 80’s slasher horror icons that includes Wes Craven’s Freddy Kruger & John Carpenter’s Michael Myers. A multitude of sequels, match ups and remakes have been released since this premiered but none match this genre defining classic. Originally folded (as issued) this unrestored example displays and presents to excellent effect with only minimal age and handling wear with bright & unfaded colours. It represents a fine piece of sought after cinema memorabilia from one of the defining ‘slasher’ flick Film’s.
Trivia: The filmmakers never intended to make this the launching pad for the franchise that followed. According to Victor Miller, Jason Voorhees was only meant as a plot device, and not intended to continue on his mother’s grisly work.
