“Hey, teachers, leave those kids alone. All in all your just another brick in the wall”

Gerald Scarfe’s ground breaking animation imagery for “Pink Floyd The Wall” is some of the most memorable of all 80’s film posters and was used worldwide for the marketing campaign. Originally Scarfe designed the graphics and had a hand in the (now) iconic video for Pink Floyd’s worldwide smash hit record “Another Brick in the Wall”so it was only natural he was the artist commissioned for the film poster. A powerful, thought provoking film & poster Scarfe’s imagery is reminiscent of Edvard Munch’s ‘The Scream’ & is equally as impressive and perfectly suited to the horizontal landscape format of the UK quad. The country of origin poster offered here is from first year of release 1982 and is genuinely scarce with the exceptional example offered here being presented in excellent original unrestored folded (as issued) condition. An extremely desirable and collectable piece of rock music and film memorabilia that rarely comes to market in this high grade condition.

Trivia: One of the few films in movie history where none of the characters are given names. Only Pink has a name though its never said what his real first name is only that his last name might be Floyd.
