Designed by creative agency P & A it is one of the most eye-popping colourful electro-pop posters I have ever seen, it bleeds colour and looks incredible; a real tribute to some of the best psychEDeliC posters of the late 60’s. Never having a full cinema release in the UK (only available on Netflix) these US one sheet posters are scarce & have become highly collectable.   Beautiful Bill Gold design and artwork for Clint Eastwood’s 1992 Oscar winning western “Unforgiven”. With no-dates or credits this original British Uk quad is the first Advance teaser for Clint’s masterpiece. It is also the rarest style of “Unforgiven” posters. Dark and moody this originally rolled (as issued) example is in exceptional unrestored original condition with imagery particularly well suited to the horizontal landscape layout of the British quad. It displays superbly and looks stunning, presented in high-grade quality condition that represents a truly fine impressive example of original Clint Eastwood western cinematic movie memorabilia.

  Trivia: The final screen credit reads, “Dedicated to Sergio and Don”, referring to Clint Eastwood‘s mentors, Sergio Leone and Don Siegel.

  “Eastwood’s Western Swansong”…“Unforgiven” may well be Clint Eastwood’s greatest triumph as an actor and director. In this grim, dark, and yet strangely beautiful story of former gunslinger William Munny (Eastwood), who comes out of retirement for one last job, Eastwood deliberately sets out to demystify the old West. This is evident in the conversations between Munny and the Schofield Kid (Jaimze Wolvett), who has a romanticized image of the old-time gunfighters, and between sheriff Little Bill Daggett (Gene Hackman) and hack journalist W.W. Beauchamp (Saul Rubinek). Bill Gold design and artwork for Clint Eastwood’s 1992 Oscar winning western “Unforgiven”. This ‘pay-off’ final release version features the familiar image of Eastwood with back to shot and beautiful portraits of his supporting cast – Richard Harris, Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman. The landscape format of the UK quad perfectly suits the imagery and layout for Clint’s masterpiece, far better than the one-sheet, in my opinion. Dark and moody this originally rolled (as issued) example is in excellent unrestored original condition.   In 2006 design house Concept Arts produced five outstanding campaign posters for Alan Moore’s alternate timeline thriller “V for Vendetta” which features a fascist Great Britain under a totalitarian government regime. With each version hugely collectable in their own right this very rare original ‘Flames Style’ Advance  Teaser “Coming Soon” one sheet is a great example of modern design and graphics; strong colours, complemented by stark, bold imagery…Originally rolled (as issued) this displays to excellent effect and represents a fine piece of very desirable original ‘modern’ movie memorabilia…“People should not be afraid of their governments…Governments should be afraid of their people”

  Trivia: On a clock that has an hour hand and a minute hand, the time 11:05 makes a V. These two numbers, eleven and five — where eleven is the month, and five is the day — spell out ‘the fifth of November.’ “Remember, remember the 5th of November.”

  One of the most defining cinematic images of the 20th century, Saul Bass’ spiral poster design for this classic 1958 Alfred Hitchcock thriller “Vertigo” has become synonymous with the film and as a poster design a hard act to follow. So it’s a tribute to artist Kevin Tong for creating imagery equally as memorable. Released in 2023 by Mad Duck this high quality limited edition art print is hand-numbered #46/250 and features an incredible blue/green colour palette. “Vertigo”  was the the fourth and final time that James Stewart would work with Alfred Hitchcock, with both turning in career-defining performances and is a movie that consistently makes the shortlist for ‘Greatest Movie of All-Time’ with the influential movie magazine ‘Sight & Sound’ making it their Number One film of all time. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect, absolutely stunning it represents an extremely desirable item of modern collectable movie memorabilia from a truly remarkable film.
