Beautifully executed and designed poster attributed to Stephen Frankfurt and Philip Gips. One of the best sports movie posters ever created, with the complementing Style A one of the others. Here Robert Redford as Winter Olympic skier David Chappellet is depicted in full on skier pose with an almost psychedelic effect to add to the feeling of motion. Hugely effective you really can feel the speed and excitement. The original US one sheet offered here is is the rare Style B from first year of release 1969 and is presented in excellent tri-folded (as issued with no vertical centrefold) condition. Particularly sought after by skiing enthusiasts this represents a fine piece of sports / movie memorabilia that is becoming increasingly hard to find from a superior sports movie and one of the best skiing films ever made.

A really great looking black & white poster (the movie was filmed in black & white) with star Johnny Depp bearing a remarkable likeness to the man/woman he was playing
…more detailA beautiful film festival poster from the 1990’s featuring six of the wackiest, poorly made and most bizarre films ever made…“The Bride of the Beast / Night of the Ghouls / Plan 9 From Outer Space / Glen or Glenda / Jail Bait / Bride of the Monster” Each equally ‘bad’ in one way or another yet all had one thing in common, they were by one man; legendary ‘B’ movie making maestro Edward D. Wood Jr. Wood despite a poor reception (and that’s being kind) for his films when originally released during the 50’s & 60’s has gone on to achieve cult status amongst movie fans with paper from any of his films highly sought after and much prized. This collectability has extended to the film festival posters which celebrated his much loved ‘masterpieces’. The original UK quad example offered here is for “Ed Wood Presents The Worst Movies Ever Made” a British festival from the 1990’s and is one of the best looking posters available, featuring classic scenes from six of his movies with images that appear to have hand finished colour touches. A very cool looking, great designed colourful poster that is extremely scarce. Originally rolled (as issued) this near faultless example is a fantastic find and represents a fine and incredibly rare example very collectable original movie memorabilia for one of Hollywood’s greatest character’s.
Trivia: The budget of Tim Burton’s biopic Ed Wood (1994) was “more than one hundred times greater than every Ed Wood budget combined”
…more detailTom Cruise is one of the greatest movie stars in cinema history and certainly one of the most energetic and action centric actors, so it’s no surprise that in 2014 he took on a project that he was perfectly suited. Set in a war torn future, Cruise’s character Cage is a man fighting in a war against aliens and must relive the same day every time he dies until he can find a way to stop them invading the Earth. “Edge of Tomorrow” is a very clever, stylish (the exo-battle suits look super cool) time travel movie with some incredible action set pieces. The imagery featured here by Graphic design agency Concept Arts (regular collaborators with Cruise) on this 2014 US one sheet features both Cruise and Emily Blunt (she plays the elite warrior – Rita, who mentors Cruise) in full battle mode. Originally rolled (as issued) this presents and displays to excellent effect and represents a hugely collectable and totally cool piece of movie memorabilia for one of popular cinema’s most loved actors.
Trivia: Tom Cruise didn’t want the exo-suits to be too CGI, so it would be more real to the audience. He showed up two months early to research and develop the suit. He thought its weapons were fun and cool. Emily Blunt was unprepared for the weight of the suit which was between 85-90 pounds, and the armaments between 120-125 pounds.

Tim Burton seems like the only being on the planet who could come with characters such as the ones found in “Edward Scissorhands” The film is literally a tale likely to be found in a child’s dreams. It creates a world of its own, inhabiting unforgettable characters, events that should be shared with generations This film is a visual masterpiece; a movie that deserves its reputation as a timeless “Burtonesque” classic. This original 1990 US one-sheet perfectly captures all of Burton’s stylish elements. Outstanding character driven design featuring the scissor-handed Edward and his love – Winona Ryder. This superb rolled (as issued) example looks beautiful and displays to superb effect, representing a a fantastic piece of original cinematic movie memorabilia for an innovative and popular film maker.
Trivia: Edward’s hair is based on Robert Smith of The Cure‘s hair.

Sorry for the spoiler but the poster imagery featured here is from the climax of Lee’s most successful and well known movie “Enter the Dragon” and showcases an iconic image of martial arts’ greatest star…Bruce Lee. This striking black & white photographic poster (I genuinely don’t think it would have worked as well in colour) was issued by Warner Bros. to record stores to promote the soundtrack album that accompanied the film in 1973. Easily the best example of this poster I have offered for sale. This originally rolled (as issued) example is rarely seen in this high grade unrestored investment condition and represents an extremely scarce and collectable example of original movie related memorabilia & a fitting tribute to the martial arts legend BRUCE LEE.
Trivia: Over 8,000 mirrors were used to set up the “Hall of Mirrors” where the climactic duel takes place.

Bob Peak created the artwork and his design was used globally as the imagery became as memorable as its late star. Whilst the core artwork remained the same slight variations appeared in different countries with this Japanese re-issue one-sheet format probably the most striking as the action imagery (including a nunchuk wielding Bruce Lee) was offset against a black background. Offered here is an exceptional Japanese B1 film poster for “Enter the Dragon” from the 1997 re-release, finished with a high gloss sheen it presents to stunning effect and displays minimal handling wear. This originally rolled (as issued) example is rarely seen in this large Japanese format and in such high grade unrestored investment grade condition. A striking piece that represents an extremely scarce and collectable example of original movie memorabilia & a fitting tribute to the martial arts legend BRUCE LEE.
Trivia: In 2004, this movie was deemed “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant” in the United States and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress.

Bob Peak created the artwork and his design was used globally as the imagery became as memorable as its late star. Whilst the core artwork remained the same slight variations appeared in different countries with the UK landscape format probably the most striking as the action imagery (including a nun-chuk wielding Bruce Lee) was offset against a bright yellow background. Offered here is an exceptional originally folded (as issued) UK quad film poster from first year of release 1973 that displays and presents to excellent effect – colours are very vibrant and truly pop from the paper. On almost constant release in the mid 70s as Lee’s reputation rose to new heights following his untimely death, no new posters issued with cinema owners having to make use of their 1973 examples – making this offering extremely desirable as it rarely comes to market in such high grade unrestored condition. It represents an extremely scarce and collectable example of original movie memorabilia & a fitting tribute to the martial arts legend BRUCE LEE.
TRIVIA: ENTER THE DRAGON due to its huge popularity was consistently re-released and shown after its 1973 debut yet no new standalone posters were ever printed & it was down to the cinema owners to re-use the posters from 1973. Making original unrestored 1973 posters of this quality extremely scarce.

Incredibly rare and much sought after original 1981 UK quad film poster for Sam Raimi’s “Evil Dead”. Raimi’s original cult classic is probably one of the better zombie / supernatural movies ever made, becoming legend with the horror genre shocked audiences around the world and became a phenomenon. Lead actor Bruce Campbell is put through a continually escalating series of horrific encounters that allow him to show the full extent of his talent for slapstick comedy. Palace (Video) Pictures bought the rights to distribute the film and commissioned up and coming horror artist Graham Humphreys to design the quad and video artwork. Released in cinemas and on VHS almost simultaneously the modest outlay for the rights to distribute the film proved to be an excellent deal as it went on to see great box-office takings and thousands of tapes sold, but also resulted in making these theatrical posters a real rarity. Designed to look slightly distressed, this originally ROLLED (as issued) British UK quad film poster is from first year of release, 1981 that displays & presents very well. A great looking piece of horror art that represents an exciting and scarce country unique British piece of original horror film movie memorabilia.

Incredibly rare and much sought 2015 alternative movie poster for Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead sequel…“Evil Dead II” (Dead By Dawn). What makes this super special is that has been reimagined by the same artist responsible for the original cinema poster from from 1987 – Graham Humphreys. Printed with the approval of Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and Rob Tapert it’s a stunning piece of horror artwork, as a much more experienced, Graham Humphreys is given the chance to go back and recreate his original design from twenty-eight years earlier. The composition and subject matter are perfectly suited to this landscape format and the colours just amazing as they pop from the paper. This limited edition is hand-numbered #48/250 and signed by the Humphreys. Immediately selling out when launched, this originally rolled, flat-unfolded (as issued) example displays to exceptional effect and represents a truly outstanding and extremely desirable item of collectable horror movie memorabilia with a ‘modern’ twist.

Trivia: The large demonic head Ash battles in the climax of the film, which the crew nicknamed the “rotten applehead”, was too large and cumbersome for the crew to carry back to California, so it was left in North Carolina and soon disappeared. Its whereabouts were unknown for a number of years until it was found in a Halloween haunted house attraction just outside the original shooting location of Wadesboro, North Carolina.
