    Star Trek

    £125.00

“Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Her ongoing mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life-forms and new civilisations; to boldly go where no one has gone before.”

Original US one sheet film poster designed by advertising agency BLT Communications for J. J. Abrams’ 2009 science-fiction blockbuster “Star Trek”, featuring Chris Pine as James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock and Zoe Saldaña as Nyota Uhura in the striking blue-toned photographic artwork.

Dominating the lower half of the design is the iconic USS Enterprise, dramatically depicted under construction at the Starfleet shipyard, with Kirk riding towards it in the foreground.

This is the full-size 27 x 40 inch (69 x 102 cm) US one sheet, printed with an impressive high gloss finish which gives the deep blues and blacks of the artwork a particularly rich appearance.

An authentic cinema-issued poster, rolled (as issued) and never folded, presented in excellent high grade condition…“Live long and Prosper!”.

Trivia: Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and J.J. Abrams personally called upon Leonard Nimoy‘s home to request for his role in the film. According to Orci, the actor gave a “Who are you guys, and what are you up to?” manner before being told how important he was to them. He was silent, and Nimoy’s wife Susan Bay Nimoy told the creative team that after their conversation he had remained in his chair, emotionally overwhelmed by his decision to return as Spock, after turning down many opportunities to revisit the role. He decided to act in this film, as he was turned on by the script’s scope, and its detailing of the characters’ histories: “We have dealt with Spock being half-human and half-Vulcan, but never with quite the overview that this script has of the character’s entire history, his character growth, his beginnings, and his arrival into the Enterprise crew.”

  • Star Trek: First Contact Movie Poster

    Star Trek: First Contact

    £95.00

“We are the Borg. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile.”

Resistance is futile !…Part of the appeal of “Star Trek: First Contact”, is that the central enemy is the Borg, which has surpassed all other villainous races in the Star Trek universe in popularity. The design of the Borg is unsettling, and the story line and history of this race serves to illicit an emotional continuity between the events in the television show and the films. “Star Trek: First Contact” probably has the widest appeal of all of the episodes (TV and cinematic). It is action packed, filled with top rate visual effects, and an iconic, threatening villain in The Borg. That is all evident here on this first year of release, 1996 UK quad as the USS Enterprise and the Borg Cube are both shown racing towards Earth as the Next Generation crew of Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) look to save Earth from the Borg invasion. Becoming increasingly hard to find, particularly in high grade condition, the rolled (as issued) example offered here displays and presents to excellent effect and represents a desirable item of Star Trek cinematic memorabilia.

Trivia: James Cromwell became the first actor in Star Trek history to actually utter the phrase “star trek”.

It is action packed, filled with top rate visual effects, and an iconic, threatening villain in The Borg. That is all beautifully realised here by artist Paul Mann on this 2025 alternative movie poster. Hand-numbered #2 from a print run of 185, Mann’s imagery is stunning with colours (thanks to being printed on Mirri Rainbow Foil paper) absolutely popping from the paper, giving an almost 3D effect – it really has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. The Evil Borg Queen, played with real icy menace by Alice Krige takes prominence with Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) and the crew of the USS Enterprise providing visual backup. The rolled (as issued) example offered here displays and presents to excellent effect and represents a desirable item of re-imagined Star Trek cinematic memorabilia.
