  • Dance Craze Movie Poster

    Dance Craze

    £250.00

The original footage for the film was shot during 1980 and followed Madness, The Specials, The Selecter, The Bodysnatchers, The Beat and Bad Manners on tour throughout the UK and then released by director Joe Massot as “Dance Craze” in 1981 and gives it’s audience no time to catch their breath, cutting from one song to the next in the bat of an eye. This original UK quad from the recent 2023 BFI remastered re-release features some incredible art, finished in black & white to reflect the 2-Tone influence. Originally rolled (as issued) this displays to excellent effect being totally original and unrestored and presented in a very high grade. Being such a limited release these posters are particularly scarce and represents a hugely desirable item of music related cinematic memorabilia.

  • George Michael: A Different Story Movie Poster

    George Michael: A Different Story

    £195.00

“It’s a film for all His fans and for all people who love His songs.”

“George Michael: A Different Story” is a touching 2004 documentary where George’s tells his story, with anecdotes and observations from his family, closest friends and musical peers. An extremely limited release, showing for a short period in a small number of arthouse cinemas, this UK quad, featuring a great image of George Michael  is an incredibly rare film poster. This originally rolled (as issued) example displays superbly and represents a fantastic and hugely collectable item of music and movie memorabilia for a performer and musician who was truly unique.

Ain’t it cool news“The documentary covers a good deal of Michael’s personal life in between all of his albums as well as some of the close inspirations for many of his songs. It discusses the many gains, losses and the mysteries of George himself with some regrets but an effort of hanging in there long enough to pull together.”

  • LEMMY Movie Poster

    LEMMY

    £150.00

    “49% Motherf**ker, 51% Son of a Bitch.”

Heavy metal rock gods don’t come any more legendary than Motorhead front man ‘Lemmy’ (Lemmy Kilmister). A true British institution and all-round ‘top-bloke’ as featured here in the 2010 documentary “Lemmy” by Greg Olliver and Wes Orshoski.  With testimonials by rock’s leading ‘Hall of Famers” (many of which are featured on the UK quad design) this is a remarkable cinematic biography. Designed by OTMentertain the imagery on the British quad places Lemmy centre stage offset against an ‘Ace of Spades’ logo. The advertising campaign for the movie was very low key and the UK film posters that accompanied the extremely limited cinema release are truly scarce. Originally rolled (as issued) this incredibly rare example displays to excellent effect and represents a fantastic collectable item of music, film and cultural memorabilia.

Trivia: The film crew had to clean Lemmy’s kitchen to shoot the shot of Lemmy making breakfast cause Lemmy didn’t want to do it or to shoot in a dirty kitchen.

  • The-Ecstasy-of-Wilko-Johnson-Movie-Poster

    The Ecstasy of Wilko Johnson

    £75.00

The Independent said…There is something comical but uplifting in the baffled ecstasy he feels in still being alive

Quite honestly some of the finest poster artwork I have seen on a ‘modern’ poster. In these days of digital design it’s a pleasure to see and handle such a beautiful item. Designed by Jonny Halifax for Julien Temple’s film ‘The Ecstasy Of Wilko Johnson’, and winner of the SXSW 2015 Excellence in Poster Design Special Jury Recognition Award this is a special and very rare film poster. After the film’s cinematic premiere held in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust in London at the Picturehouse on Shaftesbury Avenue on 17th July 2015 it was only screened in a very limited number of select ‘art-house’ cinemas making any paper from the release exceptionally scarce and sought after with the artist himself releasing limited edition prints of the artwork which immediately sold out and have become collectors items in their own right. The poster offered here is a genuine UK quad film poster from the initial 2015 release, not a copy. Printed on heavy stock paper with a four colour silk screen print finish this originally rolled example displays superbly…An incredibly rare and collectable piece of music/film memorabilia.

  • WHAM! Movie Poster

    WHAM!

    £195.00

“Through archival interviews and footage, George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley relive the arc of their Wham career, from ’70s best buds to ’80s pop icons.”

Released on Netflix in July 2023 “WHAM!” is one the channel’s most streamed programmes, documenting (largely through the scrap book diaries kept by Andrew Ridgeley’s Mum) the effervescent rise of the happy go lucky pop duo and the emergence of George into a global solo singer/song-writer superstar. Prior to the film’s Netflix release it was screened for one-night only on June 27th in only a small number of select cinemas throughout the UK. The poster (a UK quad) used to accompany and promote this release features the imagery of photographer Chris Craymer. His photograph perfectly captures the charm, bubbliness, friendship and true happiness of the duo as they were starting out on their musical journey. Incredibly rare, due to the very limited number of cinemas showing the movie, this originally rolled (as issued) example displays superbly and represents a fantastic and hugely collectable item of music and movie memorabilia.

Trivia: “Wham! was one of the most commercially successful pop acts of the 1980s They ended up selling more than 30 million certified records worldwide between 1982 to 1986.”
