“BEING TERRIFIED IS JUST THE BEGINNING!”…The master of “intelligent horror”; David Cronenberg’s feature debut was in 1975 with the apt titled “SHIVERS”. This original UK quad film poster is from that first year of release. A bold, simple poster design making great use of of some fantastic horror art. Folded (as issued) this example presents very well with some very minor issues, as colours are rich and unfaded with the green dayglo of the title stand out in eye popping fashion. • Slade in Flame Movie Poster

    SLADE in Flame

    £125.00

“In the cut throat world of the music business you’re either a success or dead.”

Dig out those flares (anything under 15″ are not acceptable) & platform shoes…Not just responsible for one of the greatest Christmas songs ever but in 1975 Glam Rock band Slade starred in their own imaginatively titled big screen movie…SLADE IN FLAME ! Described as ‘the Citizen Kane of British pop movies’ by critic Mark Kermode, Slade in Flame both confounded and delighted audiences when it was released in 1975, at the height of the legendary glam-rock band’s success, starring the band themselves, this was a music film like no other. Charting the rise and fall of a pop group at the end of the 1960s, this darkly cynical, warts-and-all portrait of a band in freefall amidst the music-industry suits who want a piece of the pie was not what anybody was expecting. And now for the 50th Anniversary, Slade in Flame has been newly remastered by the BFI from the best available 35mm materials and re-released for a very limited cinematic outing. This original 2025 UK quad film poster to accompany the release is presented in excellent original rolled (as issued) condition that displays beautifully; the black background enhances the image of the group, who appear (due to some clever lighting) translucent, giving an almost 3D effect. The extremely limited release means these posters are very scarce and represent a fantastic piece of highly collectable and desirable original movie and music memorabilia.

Trivia: Noddy Holder‘s opinion of his band’s acting: “We got away with it!”

Printed on Mirri Rainbow Foil art paper, Matt Ferguson’s artwork for this Vice Press 2023 release for “Star Trek: The Motion Picture” is truly impressive. Literally changing colour depending on the light and viewing angle with imagery depicting key scenes from the movie and of course, center-stage the iconic USS Enterprise. Trivia: William Shatner, (Captain Kirk) who saw the completed movie for the first time at the world premiere, was struck by the overall sluggishness of the movie, and was convinced that the Star Trek franchise died there and then. He reminisced, “Well, that’s it. We gave it our best shot, it wasn’t good, and it will never happen again.” But, having recalled his reaction fifteen years later, he has added, “Shows you what I know.”

  • Texas Chainsaw Massacre Alternative Movie Poster

    Texas Chainsaw Massacre

    £295.00

“WHO WILL SURVIVE AND WHAT WILL BE LEFT OF THEM ?”

Described by The News of the World as the ‘sickest carnival of slaughter ever seen’...“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” has become one of the most debated films of all time bringing (at the time) nauseating, forceful horror to the screen with a focussed realism that was new to mainstream cinema. Arguments raged as most councils and cinemas across the country banned it’s release (The full fascinating story of the censorship battle is well worth checking out on the official BBFC website.) with only a handful of cinemas eventually bowing to public demand and showing the Film. Reimagined on an incredible scale and one of the most licensed titles for an alternative movie poster – it takes something special to stand out from the crowd and Graham Humphreys’ 2023 release certainly does that; horror art at its finest. Printed for Texas Frightmare Weekend and only available to purchase from the Mondo booth, this signed and hand-numbered (AP 28/30) artist proof print is an outstanding tribute to Tobe Hooper’s ground breaking movie, introducing one of the horror genre’s most iconic characters and a very rare and collectable alternative movie poster for perhaps the most influential cult horror film of the modern era…“There are moments when we cannot believe that what is happening is really true. Pinch yourself and you may find out that it is.”

Trivia: Ed Gein – on whom “Leatherface” was loosely based–was not a true serial killer, as he actually only killed two people, both of them women. He was however, a graverobber. He stole body parts–only female–from many different graves. He kept some of the parts in his refrigerator, and skinned one corpse and wore the skin as a dress.

    The Company of Wolves

    £75.00

“The desire…the fantasy…the nightmare…Where fairy stories meet horror stories”

An extraordinary and surreal masterpiece from Neil Jordan, “The Company of Wolves” is an allegory that examines the journey from innocence to adulthood in an adult re-telling of the much loved fairytale “Little Red Riding Hood”.
