“There is nothing in the dark that isn’t there in the light. Except fear”
An original 1991 US/International one-sheet film poster for Martin Scorsese’s suspenseful horror, thriller “Cape Fear”. Designed by Tom Martin and John Alvin, this is an incredible looking poster – the menace in De Niro’s stare is truly unsettling. Offered rolled (as issued) it presents to excellent effect with amazing dark colour tones, enhanced with blue touches giving not just the effect of water but also a lightening strike (so integral to the film’s finale). The water effect is further highlighted by the wave effect in the lower half of the poster – this is part of the printing with the poster itself presenting perfectly flat. An impressive and desirable film poster that represents a fantastic piece of modern horror cinematic memorabilia appealing to movie poster collectors and fans of Scorsese and De Niro.
Trivia: Gregory Peck, who starred in Cape Fear (1962), appears as Cady’s lawyer. Robert Mitchum played Max Cady in the 1962 version, and appears as Lieutenant Elgart. Martin Balsam played Mark Dutton in the 1962 version, and the judge in this version.

An incredibly rare find, a 2023 Park Circus UK quad film poster for Michael Powell’s disturbing 1960 voyeuristic thriller “Peeping Tom”. One of the most distinctive and best redesigned of any posters from the genre and rightly regarded as a British classic and highly sought after by collectors. “Peeping Tom” was not a great commercial success at the time of its release, and was largely over shadowed by Hitchcock’s “Psycho” and often treated as a film ‘way ahead of its time’ with filmgoers reluctant to see it due to Powell’s controversial content. The originally rolled (as issued), unrestored example offered here has minimal handling and displays & presents to excellent effect with beautiful colour tones and dramatic imagery. Incredibly scarce, as it received a very limited release and was only shown in a handful of ‘Park Circus’ affiliated cinemas. A must have title for the serious collector or fan it represents a fantastic item of good looking collectible movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The critical mauling and public outcry about the film resulted in it being pulled from British cinemas after just five days.

Released in 2023 by Mad Duck this high quality limited edition art print is hand-numbered #46/250 and features an incredible blue/green colour palette. “Vertigo” was the the fourth and final time that James Stewart would work with Alfred Hitchcock, with both turning in career-defining performances and is a movie that consistently makes the shortlist for ‘Greatest Movie of All-Time’ with the influential movie magazine ‘Sight & Sound’ making it their Number One film of all time. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect, absolutely stunning it represents an extremely desirable item of modern collectable movie memorabilia from a truly remarkable film.
