Despite being caught in her imaginative world, Amelie (Audrey Tautou), a young waitress, decides to help people find happiness. Her quest to spread joy leads her on a journey where she finds true love. Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s is a truly heart warming cinematic experience, with the casting of Audrey Tautou as the titular Amelie or to give its full title Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amelie Poulain a masterstroke. So it’s no surprise to see her featured so prominently on the movie posters that accompanied the release in 2001. The UK quad from this first year of release was originally rolled and displays superbly – it really is a beautiful, character focused film poster that represents a fine item of cinematic movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The main colors in the film (green, yellow and red) are inspired by the paintings of the Brazilian artist Juarez Machado.

“The incredible true story of how the world’s greatest Street Art movie was never made…”
“Exit Through the Giftshop” is an Oscar nominated documentary of how an eccentric French amateur film maker attempted to locate and befriend the anonymous British graffiti/street artist Banksy. The documentary also featured other giants of the street art movement, including Shepard Fairey, Invader, Sweet Toof, Cyclops, Swoon, Ron English, and Buff Monster. The finished movie is a remarkable piece of film-making. The Belgian Affiche offered here was printed entirely in English and distributed to the Benelux countries of Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands. and represents a Banksy designed piece that is often referred to as the ‘Mona Lisa in a shopping trolley’ style. Printed in remarkably small numbers for release in art-house cinemas, this is a marvellous opportunity to own an affordable example of Banksy’s artwork and a piece of original cinematic memorabilia presented in excellent original condition.
Trivia: The film had its unofficial UK premiere in an abandoned rail tunnel underneath London’s Waterloo station, an area devoted to graffiti and street art. Tickets for this sold out in a minute. A red carpet was spraypainted on the ground especially for the occasion, while spectators were all presented with tins of spray paint as they left the screening.

“Licorice Pizza” is a Paul Thomas Anderson nostalgic romcom of sorts about a teenager and the much older woman he wants to have a romance with in 1970s California filmed around characters and situations from the entertainment industry of the day, eccentric, off-beat and very period appropriate. “Licorice Pizza” was a cult success on its release with Anderson’s loyal fanbase hailing another solid cinematic offering. Only having a very limited run and showing in a small number of (largely ‘art-house’ or ‘independent’) cinemas any paper from the film is scarce and in very short supply, making this originally rolled (as issued) Kat Reeder designed one-sheet from 2021 a really great find. It displays to excellent effect and represents an extremely hard yo find, modern original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly talented writer/director.
Trivia: The term “Licorice Pizza” is slang for a vinyl record, particularly albums which were known as LPs for Long Play, hence Licorice Pizza. Also, the vinyl record is black, which is the color of licorice, and the shape is flat and round, like a pizza.
